International Wi-Fi Tournament - 2012 Spring Friendly - WON BY JIVETIME

Peaked at 1805 last night, but quickly dropped to 1771 this morning. One bad match against someone with 1500-1600 and you need about 10 wins to make up for it. I'm steadily climbing, though. What's a top 100 rating would you guys say?
 
Prog, Italy, Lombardy rated 1770 just DCd at a score of 2-3, don't know if it was intentional but it happened just after I got the switch advantage.
 
24 wins/ 20 losses/ and 14 DC's from opponents. 12 of those DC's should have been wins for me. I've only been DC'ed once because of my connection, and that was before the match even started. I refuse to DC on anyone who wins. I'm even using a gimmicky team and it's doing pretty well =/. However, I'm getting like, half my wins from people who don't even really know what they're doing, and it's getting tiresome. When I beat the "good" people with high ratings who use weather teams (for the most part), they're the ones that DC. I don't think they like the fact that a team with Zebstrika and Slaking is beating them. -_-

My question is... do you people DC when the other player wins on purpose?
 
I'm done, the amount of D/C'ers has ruined any chance of me actually ranking so rather than waste anymore of my time, I'm out. I wish everyone else playing the best of luck and hope you all have a bit more luck than other players who have had this tournament pretty much wrecked by a bunch of 'bad losers'.

The one thing I can say is until this D/C problem is resolved I will not be playing in anymore wifi tournaments. TPCi really have fallen short with this in my opinion, if they were planning on organizing events like this these issues should have been resolved before anything went live, I can't believe they are holding official qualifiers for the Japanese nationals with these issues in place. Lets hope with the release of B/W 2 and the 'revamping' of the GTS we'll see some improvement.

I participated in the Japanese one and there were far less D/C'ers, my record was 17W 7L and 9 D/C's 5 of them due to my connection, a 4 D/C'ers. 4 of my D/C's were wins against 1600-1700+ players when the data were being sent to the servers, the same as my another D/C when I had lost and the data was being sent.
I think 4 real D/C's out of 33 matches is not a really big deal.

Heh, called out. I do remember DCing a couple times this morning after dropping to the 1700s, and for it, I have no excuse. Ah well, I guess it doesn't pay off. Were you using a TR team by any chance?
(I'm not joking, I actually am ashamed but really don't know what to say. I'm a very reckless player.)
 
Right now I'm sitting at 1583 points 9 Wins 4 Losses 10 D/C's It's not an impressive mark, but who cares, I'm doing this just for fun. I've just had a nice battle, my 4th loss, It was 50/50 but didn't chose the right move, so it went for him. GG

How are you doing so far? let's stop bitching about D/C's

17-1 and then like 4 DCs?
Oh, I'm playing ben from maryland. I bet it's like, cosmicexplorer or something.
Anyways I'm enjoying this even though every DC was, of course, a win.
