Yeah good game, I was going to ask you the same thing. Nope I didn´t disconnect, I never do. I lost in a fair game, although I misplayed the forelast turn.

Holy crap, so many new posts. I'm only really going to start battling right now, yesterday wasn't a good day for me. I'll be interested in seeing who I fight!.

K, I didnt expect you to DC, I was just asking because now we know that there are really random DCs sometimes :)

Doesn´t have to be random, maybe my connection starts to die or something, now I got the connection error in the second turn. If I get another one, I´ll stop playing for a while.

Welp, I'm so far 1-1 ranking of 1501

My first match was awful. I was against a Japanese person and misplayed from turn 1 on.

My second match was a tough battle I ended up winning against someone from Vietnam.

What the actual hell just happened:

My opponent hits with Thunder, Hurricane, Focus Blast, and Thunder again before getting rain up. He doesn't miss any attacks throughout the match.

He gets a paralyze with Thunder

He confused me with Hurricane

I was still up 2-1, Thundurus with 30 HP and full health Latios vs. His half HP Whimsicott. I've got this in the bag, right? He hurricanes Thundurus, who lives long enough to be confused by the Hurricane before knocking himself out before he gets to attack. A -2 draco meteor leaves Whimsicott with like 1 HP and his Sitrus Berry activates. He uses Hurricane, which doesn't confuse, but then Draco meteor missed. Next turn he confused me with Hurricane and I hit myself like 3 times in a row as he whittled down my HP, causing me to lose 1-0.

Damn you Pokemon

Aaron go back to bed.

Anyway I finished Day 1 with a rather lackluster record of 4-2.

I went 3-0 against Japanese, 1-0 against South Koreans, 1-0 against the USA, 1-0 against Canada, and 0-2 against Brazil.

It was the same Brazilian twice in a row that beat me with a TR Water team involving a level 1 Smeargle/Bronzong lead. I knew my team was weaker against TR, but this one hurt. Twice.

Naturally there were some DCs in the middle, but for the most part they've happened even before team select. I think my internet was partially to blame there.

I'll update a battle log when I get home tonight.

It's 9 AM here and I'm on spring break mike. go away, do i need to take even MORE pictures of my trophies?!

edit: hey japanese players, stop haxing me with ice beam and stuff =( (great, now I'm back at 1654 lol)

I dunno I'm pretty sure all those red score highlights today mean you won't be getting anymore trophies. Little washed up on Day 2?

But more seriously I should be fine as long as I stop going up against the might of BRAZIL.

Cybertron, how much time have you spent doing this? O.o

I'm at, like 1564 with a win processing (so 1570 something), with about 6 wins, 1 loss, and 2 DCes. I can't seem to find anyone with a high rank. Just 14XX-15XX

Playing or the stats? lol

A lot I guess, but it's not like I'm only playing, I'm multi-tasking between doing other things.
I just realized all of my 5 losses were to Japanese players too :3

Coming back for this tournament using my VGC team from last year plus 2 other Unova pokemon 11 counted battles and 1575 rating. Rain teams are bothering me :/

100% success rate so far! For one battle though. Against David from North Cal. My poison heal Gliscor is probably the only reason why I won that. GG!

Just had a fun game vs Peterko (I think), with both of us using some pretty weird pokes haha. I won 2-0, so now I'm currently 14-0 with a Rating of 1679.

Herro, I'm new to this forum. I didn't see any introduction section, so I'll start off here since this is what brought me here to register...

I entered the tournament with a really bad set, so I want to know if there's any pull backs? So far, I have 6 wins and 14 loses and it's getting frustrating. :(

Samurott - Mystic Water
Aqua Jet
Revenge
Hydro Pump
Retaliate

Simisear - Darkglasses
Acrobatics
Yawn
Crunch
Flame Burst

Snorlax
Shadow Ball
Curse
Rest
Body Slame

Suicune
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Hydro Pump
Surf

Yeah... I was never really a competitive player. I beat my Pokemon Black's Elite Four 30minutes before the registration closed and registered 1minute before it started...
Any tips or suggestions? ^^; Thanks

Well, Shadow Ball sucks on Snorlax. You should've sprung for Crunch. And Suicune doesn't need both Hydro Pump and Surf. Simisear should've been taught Flamethrower or Fire Blast over Flame Burst. And Samurott... well... It's not really the best option in any case.

Welcome to the forums, though, and good luck in the tournament.

For my games that actually finished, my record is 14-2.

My losses came to a miss-play in my very first game towards the end, and a Rock Slide miss + a slight miss-play at the end of my most recent game. Both losses were to Japanese players, I haven't found anyone I recognise from Smogon yet.

I've had at least four DC's against me from what I can remember, maybe five. So I'm continually running at a 1/4 DC rate which is probably going to void my ranking if it continues. I did lose one win as well through a DC of my own, however. During the sending data process I had a legit DC of my own, and I'd won the game so it really sucked.

Edit: Add another DC to that.

Haha, I know that. :( Too late to change anything... I was just hoping maybe I can pull something off. And thanks.
