Latios!
[Overview]

Do not be fooled
by into thinking that the Jet Plane is worthless without
the its infamous Soul Dew. Latios is still perfectly capable of posing a
well-known large threat in the Uber tier
,[Add Comma] due to wielding [Or "having", something like that] a few advantages
it has that set
s it
self apart from it's dragon brethren.
The master of time and space distorter Dialga and Palkia [Must it be so poetic? Dont need to change that, just dont assume collective knowledge of Pokemon law, newbies use Smogon analyses too] cannot handle the excuriciating pain that their feet feel when switching into spikes, which
our jet plane Latios avoids
by being airborne, courtesy of Levitate. Latios's movepool is also quite unique, in the sense
that it gets access to Recover, Trick, and Memento, yet
it struggles to gain a Fire-Type move outside of Hidden Power Fire to defeat its
steel foes
that maintain a cold, metalic, iron structure [Quoth the raven, nevermore. Being more serious though, preference]. It
's
[Be careful with apostrophes; It's means It Is or It Has] base stats also leave much to be desired
.;[Remove Period / Add Semicolon] although it has a blistering base 110 speed
,[Add Comma] its other stats are quite mediocre
,.[Remove Comma / Add Period] In particular
,[Add Comma] its Special Attack
is quite small by Uber standards, which failing to reach the 150 base of
its other
Dragon-Brethren Uber Dragons. It's defenses are
also low,
and will normally mean
ing that Latios will
usually die if a
faster Dragon releases a
n strong attack at it
before it can release its own. Regardless of these
short-comings disadvantages,[Add Comma] [Optional] Latios still makes for a great choice on any Uber team, and should not be forgotten as a threat.

[SET COMMENTS]

Latios'
s [Im unsure; should that "s" be there?] Dragon-Typing, ability, high base Speed, and access to Memento
,[Add Comma] enable it to distinguish itself as an exceptionally talented Dual Screener. Light Screen and Reflect enable Latios to cushion itself
,[Add Comma] and
the its team
,[Add Comma] from the enemies attacks for eight turns. With Memento
at it's side in its arsenal [Optional] Latios can kill itself and lower the attacking stats of an enemy even further, while providing a free switch to another team mate. The third moveslot choice is dependent on what the team wants. Latios can very easily set up screens more then on
ce
[Add the "c"] in the match
,[Add Comma] and Recover or Roost enable it to heal itself to perform that job very well. However
,[Add Comma] if Latios is intended to be used
just to instantaneously only to cripple an opponent, it may be beneficial to
cripple heavily damage them
further with a Draco Meteor before
abusing their lowered lowering their attacking stats. In addition
,[Add Comma] Draco Meteor
provides Latios with a move that prevents it from struggling when it is taunted stops Latios from being destroyed by taunt, while enabling it to
somewhat hit-and-run as well as [Not really needed] preven
ting Rayquaza from setting up
in front of it.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Since Latios's main purpose is to help a team mate sweep, it
does great good
idea [Preference] to pair it up with a team mate that can raise its stats, such as Dragon Dance Rayquaza or Shell Smash Cloyster.
Latios however In particular
,[Add Comma] Latios enjoy
's
[Remove Apostrophe] Mew and Espeon support
,.[Remove Comma / Add Period] The former
is capable of easily accumulating many boosts
and passing it to pass to a team mate
,[Add Comma] and while the
ladder latter insuring that Whirlwind and Roar will not remove these boosts.

Latios can run moves aside Draco Meteor
,[Add Comma] or
make us of a healing move
if one desires more for team support. Thunder Wave enables Latios to further cripple his enemies cutting their speed
into a fourth of their original as well as add a and providing a handy paralysis chance that can be useful to get an extra boost. Tailwind enables Latios to double the speed of his team
,[Add Comma] and
with when it being used in conjuntion with Memento, Latios has little trouble getting a team mate in to abuse the
defensive and speed boost
s to defense and speed. Finally
,[Add Comma] Latios can run Dragon Pulse
as an option for more reliable STAB
option then than Draco Meteor. However
,[Add Comma] Dragon Pulse is fairly weak, being incapable of breaking even the Substitutes of a 252 HP Ho-oh or Lugia.

Latios's current spread is designed so that it can avoid a 2HKO from Timid Scarf Palkia's Spacial Rend
,[Add Comma] while being able to outspeed all non-scarf Terrakion. If one feels that Terrakion is simply too uncommon and wish
es to increase Latios's bulk, the spread of 252 HP / 192 Spe / 64 SpD can be used to outspeed all non-scarf Garchomp. If you feel that Garchomp is also too rare to deserve ev investment, then the spread of 252 HP/ 160 Spd
<Add Space>/ 96 Spe enables Latios to outspeed all base 90s while retaining a fairly high amount of special bulk.

[SET]
name: Special Attacker
move 1: Draco Meteor
move 2: Surf / Hidden Power Fire
move 3: Thunder / Grass Knot
move 4: Trick / Psyshock / Dragon Pulse
item: Choice Specs
nature: Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]

Although Latios may appear too weak to run a offensive set due to its below average Special Attack, Latios has a few unique advantages
when one finds himself in need for as a specially offensive dragon. Unlike other dragons
,[Add Comma] Latios is blessed with
the coveted an ability
in Levitate, STAB Psyshock, Trick, and a
n above average base 110 speed. With Choice Specs
,[Add Comma] Latios can abuse all three of these advantages wonderfully, being able to switch in on Earthquake, taking damage only from Stealth Rock, and wreak havoc with its Special Attack that is bolstered by Choice Specs. Draco Meteor is the crux of the set
,[Add Comma] 1-2HKOing everything that does not resist it
and whose name is not bar Blissey
or and Chansey
[I'll just go nickname my Magikarp Blissey. Jks, its a fragmentation thing]. Surf and Hidden Power Fire give Latios the ability to hit Steel-types hard and gain a Psuedo-STAB in Rain and Sun. Thunder allows Latios to OHKO offensive Kyogre and non-wacan boosted Manaphy, but leaves it vulnerable to ground types that may switch into its attacks. Grass Knot hits
Ubers things for massive damage
,[Add Comma] and enables
it Latios to still maintain a OHKO on offensive Kyogre
,[Add Comma] while now with the bonus of OHKOing Groudon. However, Manaphy finds it easy to set up in the face of Grass Knot due to its paltry 20 base power against it. The last moveslot is a very tricky choice. Trick enables Latios to cripple all Special walls and lock them into
a one move. Psyshock is an option for hitting
the Chansey and Blissey, 2HKOing the la
tter
[Watch your spelling of that] with no hazards
,[Add Comma] and always 2HKOing the former after Stealth Rocks and a layer of Spikes. Dragon Pulse is a strong, reliable STAB Dragon-type move and can be used to clean up weakened teams.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Latios can opt to run an Expert Belt or Dragon Plate to bluff Choice Specs,
when it really is not choiced and deal some more heavy damage
whilst being able to switch moves. However, the power boost lost from Specs is noticable,
as Psyshock now
only tickles Chansey and Blissey and is easily with in their Softboiled range.
It Latios can no longer even 2HKO the former with Stealth Rock and 3 layers of spikes. Latios can also use a Life Orb set with the same moves and Recover to
recover heal [Sounds a bit redundant] off Life Orb recoil, but Latios will rarely find time to use Recover
,[Add Comma] and
Latios still hits many common Ubers
very weakly for low damage without the boost it recieves from specs.
It Latios cannot manage to 2HKO Blissey with Life Orb
without if lacking hazard
support
,[Add Comma] [Fairly sure its a small "s", not crazy good with poke grammar] and leaves leaving Latios helpless against it.

[
Other Options]

Latios can run a Choice Scarf set to become a very potent revenge killer. It is the only dragon capable of outspeeding and OHKOing Timid Scarf Palkia and also is the only dragon that can trick its scarf onto any suspecting Chansey or Blissey that try to wall it.
Outside of this, however, Latios has few usable options. [Or something like it..?]

[Checks and Counters]

Latios attempting to use dual screens are best stopped by Darkrai and Wobbufet. Both are capable of rendering Latios useless
by their own different means. as they turn the tables on it into a lose-lose scenario [Just sounds a bit better]. Should Latios switch when confronted with a Darkrai
,[Add Comma] then whatever is switched in the switch-in will be
sent put to sleep
,[Add Comma] effectively crippling the team. Should Latios stay in to confront the dark monster, it will experience nasty dreams and be used as set-up
fodder. Wobbufett
deserves a special is mention
ed as it forces Latios to Memento or Draco Meteor
.[Add Period]unless it wants to be locked on to a screen and used as set up for another pokemon since Latios cannot set up screens against Wobbuffet, as it will be locked into that move and used as set-up fodder by another pokemon, left unable to switch out it cannot switch courtesy of Shadow Tag
[Feels a bit long either way. Consider rephrasing? If not, its still fine the way it is]. Virtually any pokemon faster then Latios with Taunt or Encore shuts dual screen Latios down. Whimsicott comes to mind when considering these characteristics
thanks to the fact it as it carries both
moves and can
abuse use Latios to start a permanent sub seed cycle on it.

The Specially Offensive Dragon is completely countered by any Support Arceus carrying a plate. Support Ghost Arceus deserves a special mention due to the fact it easily absorbs all of Latios's hits and can recover the damage off.
It also gains the advantage of being able to Support Ghost Arceus can also swiftly eliminate
it Latios with a STAB Super Effective Judgement, as well as maintaining an immunity to
its Trick. Chansey and Blissey wall sets utilizing Dragon Pulse, but are in a world of pain if
it Latios carries Psyshock
,[Add Comma] and both are severely crippled when and cannot afford to be tricked a pair of Choice Specs.

[Dream World]

With Dream World
,[Add Comma] Latios gets the ability to hold the mythical Soul Dew. This object enables Latios to perform duties such as Calm Mind, hit-and-run without the use of Specs, and enables it to become a very potent late game cleaner. It can now very nicely utilize Recover
,[Add Comma] since as it obtains incredible offensive and defensive power
,[Add Comma] while
being able retaining the ability [Preference] to switch moves.
