League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

85 ping lol, u got dial-up bro?

I might say it's more likely to lose to bots on Dominion than it is SR. SR you can carry 1v5 with the proper champion, so long as you get fed early enough to avoid falling behind in build. You also have access to the snowball items. Dominion you can't very well be multiple places at once, so you're kinda screwed is your team is durdling bad enough to lose to them. You can kill them all you want, you can't re-capture nodes faster than multiple bots can take them from you when they're split up.

Those Rake mana costs....are those typoes? I bought Talon shortly after his release but stopped playing him after his nerfs hurt his laning. I think increasing Rake's cost was one of the first nerfs that hit him. If they're real, I think I'll pick up playing him again because this is pretty substantial for his laning ability...

if i had 85 ping i'd be over the moon, the worst thing about being european playing on us servers is definitely the 160+ ping every game :(

edit: woah didn't see the rake changes, i have a friend who mains talon so he'll be pretty happy!

I usually play with ~20 fps and ~140 ping. fps is pretty unstable as it can often go as low as 10 and as high as 30. One time I've had to play an entire match at ~5 fps and it just blows.

jelly of my 200 fps 85 ping
>:(

For what it's worth, I heard the Rake changes were a typo and it should start at 50 mana, not 20. A slight savings over the current cost, 5 more than the old one. It'll definitely help him at any rate, at least it won't turn him back into a laning god.

Lame, but I figured that it was too good to be true. But I'll still take him out for a spin since it seems like an interesting change.

It should be capped for me; it almost always registers as 60 fps, but sometimes it registers as about 75 fsr. I'm not an expert on hardware but I'm pretty sure that if your monitor's refresh rate doesn't exceed 60Hz, you don't need to uncap it because it physically won't make a difference? Maybe pookar has a super high-end gaming monitor or something ?_? Anyway, if you want to fix it, maybe this will work; I found it through Google =P Can't verify it for myself because Riot hasn't seen fit to make those preferences editable through the client without making you start a game (soooo lazy).

Also, I always have 185-195 ping, but I share my terrible internet with my brother so it's often higher because he randomly started torrenting or playing XBL while I'm LoLing >:(

MrE: It's harder for the Dominion bots to camp a seemingly random brush in the middle of nowhere waiting to stunlock you. Next time I play SR bots I should buy Sight Wards lolol

How do the Alpha Strike changes affect Yi's clear time? From what I understand from reading it, a lucky enough Yi could potentially deal more damage with the old Alpha Strike...

I HATE NORMALS

Yeah, i play on high quality with 60 fps and about 80 ping. This is why you play on a mac computer with windows installed as an alternate boot option :)

Macintosh es numero uno huehuehue

Do you really want to be posting that screenshot?

Well in all fairness he had the second highest cs in the game and most kills on his team and he sucks at csing. However the enemy Xin farmed champions and they probably focused Rodan (cannot believe I just said that).

well it's assured bonus damage on the big creep where it actually matters.

?

putting out the most AoE is what matters. There are those otherwise undecided jungle matchups that you win by clearing your wraiths and wolves instantly and then catching them offguard.

AoE is really important, but having good AoE doesnt matter as much if you cant take out the big creep quickly. one of the reasons shyvanna, mundo, and udyr have such good AoE is because they are able to be constantly attacking the big creep while the AoE is ticking away at the small creeps, so by the time the big one dies the other are just an auto attack away. i dont play yi so i dont really know how his jungle works too much ( like his clear times or how often he can alpha strike ect.) and i might be wrong about this, but it seem like the reason yi's AoE isnt as good is because he cant be attacking while dishing it out. the change to alpha strike could be seen like him trading some potential AoE damage ( though at lower ranks you probably wouldnt lose that much) for an auto attack or two worth of damage on the big creep, making it more like the other fast clear aoe junglers. the change is also better for contesting and securing buffs. also idk if you can smite while in alpha strike animation but if you can the change would be you could pretty much freely smite steal anything.

you cant count on the 20% proc to hit 4 times, its honestly better to have the assured damage and consider bonus damage proc just a little extra if you're lucky, especially in undecided jungle matchups.

none of this really matters though because the change was reverted.

How do I fight Graves/Soraka bot lane aaa it's seriously just nuts (plus they are free this week)

Strategies/pick advice much appreciated please (preferably with justifications) <3

So far I have: pick Soraka if they pick Graves, Caitlyn

I go support, I play Sona/Lulu/Soraka. I'm talking in the context of duo queueing in normal draft mode btw. The AD carry plays Tristana/Miss Fortune/Corki/Kennen/Kog'Maw/insert-gimmick-here/fotm AD Kayle.

Any Soraka lane is tough....perhaps you should try Janna? You can afford to be more aggressive, especially against a Graves/Cait lane. I usually solo top but when I'm bot as Lulu or Sona I've found lanes with Janna to be tough and aggressive.

If your AD carry has any experience with Ashe, I hear Ashe + Janna make a good combo.
