League of Legends: Let's Talk About uhhh??

So I did my first ARAM the other day on murder bridge and went like 3/15/over 9000 with Sion. Honestly was hoping I would have a little more fun, but I'm still a noob at this game :)

Also, I was wondering, what is the point of those champion sneak peaks? We already had seen that piece of art and there was virtually no actual information...
 
@Ray Jay: Basically champion sneak peaks are Riot's way of milking the cow and making people hyped up for the next new thing...

I've recently purchased Skarner, and although I dislike jungling in general, he's a blast. Is it better to go tank or tanky with him? What are your builds?

the generally played build is philo/hog into some late-game combination of triforce, shurelya's, frozen heart, boots of your choice, and offensive/defensive items of your choice for the last two slots. reverie/fheart/triforce are generally staple on him though. skarner isn't a tank - he's tanky DPS with peeling ability and has some quite hefty damage output, especially if you rush for the triforce.
 
Sheen on skarner is pretty much a must -- he has the highest sheen passive damage in the game(and procs it off cooldown easily), and doesn't mind the mana or AP at all either. He's a farming jungler that uses HP and mana as a resource so philo can't hurt.
 
I don't play Ali, but I would pay for a female Ali legendary skin.

I really wanted Ninetales Ahri to become reality, but I don't like the skin's splash art at all. :( I'm happy with Midnight Ahri though. <3 Also, I want Iron Solari Leona and Mafia Miss Fortune to go on sale. Iron Solari Leona is really overdue, while Mafia Miss Fortune went on sale a few months ago, so I guess I'll have to skip on it or buy it full-price. Aaaaand I want this skin to be made:

It even makes sense, because the original Orianna was a gifted dancer before her demise.

And I want Silent Night Sona, but that's never going to happen. If only I'd played LoL before this. :(

Argh our Morg and Ashe started lagging out mid-game. We went from like 30-15 to 39-35 because of that.
Then the other team started talking trash (especially Jax), which was really annoying.

yes, Revive is actually a good summoner on Dominion, since even a single use at the right time can lead to a clutch save and you're pretty much guaranteed to die at least once....

Fun game-my teammates were nice and listened to me, and I had some pretty great fun with my standard Dominion Karthus build. Their team was absurdly backcap-happy, but we typically managed to beat them. Our team was REALLY good about focusing quest points, too-Kayle and I tended to focus on keeping top out of the enemy's hands/within ours, Anivia did most of the bot laning but Naut and I also took our turns, while Talon did his job as assassin and AD damage and I defended points/walled/slowed.

I gj'ed them throughout the fight. They were AMAZING teammates.

It's times like this where I wonder why Dominion doesn't get as many players as SR...that game was bliss.


On an unrelated note, anyone wondering if Karth+Soraka bot lane might be fun to try in a premade? Seems like Soraka has a LOT of synergy with Karth-their ults give a MASSIVE net HP advantage when combined, Karth loves Soraka's free mana (last hit Qs FTW), heal, and magic resist shred, and Karth can wall to further increase the pain/harass. You'd need to take an AD top (like Kayle)/mid (like Caitlyn or Ezreal), but man would it be fun...
 
Sona changes look great. It seems, from a conversation in #tf2, I am one of about three people who were aware Crescendo currently does DoT. The global cooldown change will make her feel and play a lot better, in my opinion. I really appreciated the recent buff to her Q as well; Sona's got a lot of TLC recently.

Good point-although Amumu isn't exactly a bot lane support tank. My idea's more a gimmick bot duo lol.

On Dominion, I'm definitely like Amumu tanky APing on my team. Perhaps add Ashe top for the attack damage, utility, and slow support? Triforce Sona's another option.
 
was mainly talking about that from the perspective of an ARAM, but after that game i've been playing amumu in dominion. he's a very nice option if leona does too little damage or ali doesn't provide the hard stuns needed for your comp.

Although it's not exactly common or anything people have been running dps caster + Raka bot for a while. I've seen old EG (before the huge roster shake ups) run karth soraka bot with dyrus on the karthus before, and I know I've also seen cass soraka bot.
