Pet Mod Micrometa Mafia: A Clean Slate Spinoff (Slate 5: Setup Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Choice Scarf User, Priority User)

Wasn't a participant this round so no elimination votes from me.

First off, we have some eliminations!
With 18 votes, Cratersmash is eliminated! Turns out they were a saboteur! Cratersmash's submissions cannot win this slate and their vote will be ignored (except for the sign-up part).

With 16 votes, Moretto is eliminated! Turns out they were not a saboteur. Moretto's submissions cannot win this slate and their vote will be ignored (except for the sign-up part).

And with that, we have a winner!

:ss/gastrodon:
Name of the Pokemon: Gastrodon
Role(s): Special Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Type: Water/Ground
Abilities: Damp / Poison Touch / Water Absorb
Stat Distribution: 95/75/75/75/95/74 (489)
Movepool Additions:
Scorching Sands, Flip Turn, Stealth Rock, Knock Off
Movepool Removals:
Clear Smog
Justification: Let's start the meta with some defensive stuff, here's a hazard setter and bulky Water. Fire and Electric are typically special attacking types and you take Ice coverage decently so I felt like making this more specially bulky than physically.

:ss/klefki:
Name of the Pokemon: Klefki
Role(s): Mixed Wall, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Type: Steel/Fairy
Abilities: Infiltrator / --- / Magician
Stat Distribution: 85/90/90/90/90/85 (530)
Movepool Additions: Recover, Whirlwind
Movepool Removals: Spikes, Calm Mind
Justification: Bulky Steel with mixed defenses to go with whatever defensive stat the meta needs it to. Not really the bulkiest but its typing should give it the defensive utility that it needs on its own.

[zxg note: added mon sprites]
And DuoM2 was not a saboteur! Congratulations to the DuoM2 and the other townspeople (I think we're calling them that now), and better luck next time to our saboteurs anaconja, Cratersmash, Earthflax, Rasdanation, Regic Boat, and shnowshner.

  • Must have a BST of 580 or higher OR 480 and under
  • Must set a field condition

Give me a few moments to set up the next slate. See you then!

:raichu::flygon:Slate 2: 2 Defensive Pivots, 2 Offensive Pivots:meganium::tapu bulu:

Now that we have some utility, I think we'd need a little more bulk and momentum, so let's add some pivots! Defensive pivots can soak hits and let in frailer breakers. Fast pivots like to, well, be fast and click pivoting moves before they can be hit, maybe inflicting status conditions or Intimidate while they're at it. This slate, there are 5 saboteurs. Last slate dragged on a bit, so you have 4 days to submit 2 defensive and offensive pivots (they don't have to work as pairs).

also duo is replacing bob for unknown reasons

Some changes to the rules:
  • The elimination vote will be separate from the submission vote/sign-ups. Probably like 36 hours each.
  • If you post "in, ill put votes later" but do not post votes later by the time voting ends, you're signup will be ignored.
Alright, happy submitting!

:ss/Kricketune:
Name of the Pokemon: Kricketune
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control (Rapid Spin), Stallbreaker, Suicide Lead, Hazard Setter (Sticky Web)
Type: Bug/Fire
Abilities: Magic Guard / Prankster
Stat Distribution: 50/110/70/60/60/115
Movepool Additions: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Fire Lash, Burning Jealousy, Overheat, Flare Blitz, U-Turn, Mystical Fire, Flame Charge, Will-o-Wisp, Memento, Fake Out, Rapid Spin, First Impression, Toxic Spikes
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance
Justification: While its stats and typing may not be the best, it compensates everywhere else, Magic Guard allows it to not fear hazards and hit quite well with U-Turn and Flare Blitz or Fire Lash, while Prankster supports suicide lead sets to just set Sticky Web and/or Toxic Spikes then Memento or Taunt.

:ss/Simipour:
Name of the Pokemon: Simipour
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper, Rain Abuser
Type: Water/Fighting
Abilities: Technician / Swift Swim / Serene Grace
Stat Distribution: 80/110/70/60/70/90
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Razor Shell, Aqua Jet, Close Combat, Mach Punch, Fake Out, Swords Dance
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: What? Did you expect me to add Storm Throw here to let it 2HKO the current walls? Of course not, Technician complements Flip Turn, and alongside a resistance to SR it can pivot for quite a while, Serene Grace allows it to fish for Razor Shell Def drops, and Swift Swim adds some extra variety to act as a fast rain mon when we get some Drizzle mon.

:ss/Ariados:
Name of the Pokemon: Ariados
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Spikes, Toxic Spikes), Physical Wall, Wallbreaker
Type: Poison/Ghost
Abilities: Merciless / Regenerator
Stat Distribution: 80/70/100/90/85/25
Movepool Additions: Hex, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Calm Mind, Spikes, Recover, Parting Shot
Movepool Removals: Sticky Web
Justification: STAB Hex allows it to hit quite hard after getting a poisoning with Sludge Bomb and Merciless, but it also gets to be Toxapex but not really out of Regenerator, switching into things, healing the damage without being passive, and then just pivots away with Parting Shot

:ss/Delcatty:
Name of the Pokemon: Delcatty
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Special Wall
Type: Psychic/Normal
Abilities: Normalize
Stat Distribution: 80/70/70/120/120/65
Movepool Additions: Revelation Dance, Psychic, Psyshock, Future Sight, Slack Off, Teleport, Soak
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Normalize has a funny interaction with Future Sight, if it hits while Delcatty is active, it'll remain Normal type, but if it switches out beforehand, it's Psychic type, allowing to pull some funny mindgames with this ability, and even then this won't necessarily struggle against Steel or Ghost types thanks to Soak removing such resistances, or at least forcing a switch to abuse with Teleport.

Abilities: Levitate
Stat Distribution: 85 / 110 / 85 / 85 / 85 / 110 (BST: 560)
Movepool Additions: Dragon Bonk*
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: So apparently Flygon won in CS1 in this exact slate. However, I do not care, as I think the mon is Very Cool. Here's Flygon with STAB U-Turn but without STAB on Earthquake. Hope you like it!
Dragon Bonk: Dragon-type clone of High Horsepower

:Landorus-Therian:
Name of the Pokemon: Landorus-Therian

Stat Distribution: 89 / 105 / 80 / 105 / 80 / 111 (BST: 570)
Movepool Additions: High Horsepower
Movepool Removals: Earthquake
Justification: Lando-T with slightly less good STAB and lower Attack. What could go wrong?

Ice Blade: Ice-type Stone Edge

Type: Dark/Ghost
Abilities: Keen Eye / Stall / Intimidate
Stat Distribution: 90 / 115 / 95 / 65 / 95 / 50 (510 BST)
Movepool Additions: Poltergeist, U-Turn
Movepool Removals: Recover
Justification: good defensive pivot thanks to intimidate, decent bulk, and amazing defensive typing. no recovery is unfortunate but ig you can use vest to improve special bulk. also haha sab = saboteur

:ss/araquanid:
Name of the Pokemon: Araquanid
Role(s): Special Wall, Defensive Pivot
Type: Water / Bug
Abilities: Heatproof / Water Absorb
Stat Distribution: 68 / 80 / 92 / 80 / 132 / 52 (504 BST)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Recover
Justification: good defensive typing with uturn stab and useful things like scald recover and webs makes it very useful. the bulk is lacking on the physical side though, and its low offensive stats means it can invite mons to setup

:ss/dedenne:
Name of the Pokemon: Dedenne
Role(s): Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Type: Electric/Fairy
Abilities: Cheek Pouch / Static / Motor Drive
Stat Distribution: 77 / 68 / 77 / 101 / 77 / 111 (511 BST)
Movepool Additions: Moonblast
Justification: decent special attack with a great speed tier and offensive typing makes this an effective offensive pivot. lack of good abilities or coverage holds it back somewhat. also MY PREJUDICES lets go

:ss/honchkrow:
Name of the Pokemon: Honchkrow
Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot
Type: Dark / Flying
Abilities: Insomnia / Super Luck / Hyper Cutter
Stat Distribution: 100 / 115 / 62 / 75 / 62 / 91 (505 BST)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Darkest Lariat
Justification: great offensive typing with immunity to intimidate makes it a pretty good offensive pivot. besides the fact that its weak to rocks, is a bit middling in speed, and really wants koff

:ss/minior-meteor:
Name of the Pokémon: Minior-Meteor
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall, Hazard Setter
Type: Rock/Dragon
Abilities: Levitate / Reckless
Stat Distribution: 80/60/120/100/60/80 (480)
Movepool Additions: Recover, Spikes, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Mystical Fire, Heat Crash, Flash Cannon, Meteor Beam, Scorching Sands, Night Shade, Earth Power
Movepool Removals: Shell Smash, Calm Mind
Justification: Minior is the perfect defensive partner for Klefki. Thanks to its Rock/Dragon-typing and ability in Levitate, Minior easily covers for Klefki's Fire and Ground weaknesses, while Klefki's great Steel/Fairy-type covers for almost all of Minior weaknesses, except for Fighting and Steel, which are both neutral but Klefki can threaten Fighting-types. Minior also provides some nice utility for Klefki, with hazard setting abilities in Spikes and Stealth Rock and pivoting in U-Turn (and Explosion ig)
Beats: Nothing yet
Loses to: Gastrodon, Klefki (Klefki's STABs slightly outdamages your Earth Powers)

:ss/simisear:
Name of the Pokémon: Simisear
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazard Remover, Physical Wall
Type: Fire
Abilities: Gluttony / Sticky Hold / Ignite*
Stat Distribution: 75/98/113/68/83/61 (498)
Movepool Additions: Rapid Spin, Super Fang, Slack Off, Curse, Hypnosis, Parting Shot, Body Slam, Burning Jealousy
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot, Grass Knot, Flame Charge
Custom Elements: Ignite - Fire -ate clone
Justification: Like Minior is to Klefki, Simisear is the perfect defensive partner for Gastrodon. Its pure Fire typing handles Grass-types for Gastrodon while Gastrodon's Water/Ground typing with Water Absorb shuts down all of Simisear's weaknesses. Simisear brings plently of utility to the table with Taunt, Parting Shot, Hypnosis, Will-O-Wisp, Body Slam paralysis, and a near unblockable Rapid Spin and Super Fang with Ignite, or the option of having a near permanent hazard immunity with Sticky Hold and Heavy-Duty Boots.
Beats: Klefki
Loses to: Gastrodon

:ss/vileplume:
Name of the Pokémon: Vileplume
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Status Spreader, Cleric
Type: Grass/Poison
Abilities: Effect Spore / Filter / Flower Veil
Stat Distribution: 75/112/70/60/70/113 (500)
Movepool Additions: Trichomes*, U-Turn, Rock Slide, Healing Wish, Gunk Shot, Play Rough, Throat Chop, Poison Jab
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance, Growth, Grassy Terrain, Grassy Glide
Custom Elements: Trichomes - Poison-type Physical Thunder Cage clone
Justification: Vileplume is pretty simple. It can come in, even on Toxic Spikes which it gets rid of, clicks Petal Blizzard, Gunk Shot, and Rock Slide or Drain Punch a bunch, then switches with U-Turn or heals a teammate with Healing Wish. It also has some neat utility options in Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, and Strength Sap, which can all forces switches that Vileplume can abuse with the Trichomes or U-Turn. Can't really touch Klefki, but that's what teammates are for.
Beats: Gastrodon
Loses to: Klefki

:ss/zebstrika:
Name of the Pokémon: Zebstrika
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Status Absorber, Status Spreader
Type: Electric/Ghost
Abilities: Volt Absorb / Sap Sipper / Quick Feet
Stat Distribution: 72/70/83/117/73/110 (525)
Movepool Additions: Mystical Fire, Shadow Ball, Switcheroo, Hex, Psycho Shift, Memento
Movepool Removals: N/A
Justification: Zebstrika is a slight twist on the typical Electric-type pivot formula. It's decently powerful and has great offensive coverage in TBolt, Shadow Ball/Hex, and Flamethrower, has Volt Switch to pivot, and nice utility options in Switcheroo and Thunder Wave to keep the opponent on their toes. However, where Zebstrika gets really interesting is its ability, Quick Feet. Either by holding a Flame Orb yourself or switching into a Toxic or Will-O-Wisp, Zebstrika quickly becomes blazing fast while retaining the ability to switch moves, which can really annoy walls that rely on these moves to neutralize threats. And if the damage is racking up too quickly, and you're not holding an orb, you can always heal off the status with Psycho Shift and make it someone else's problem. Though it gets stonewalled by Gastrodon, Zebstrika should be a fun mon to play with it.
Beats: Klefki (Spam Mystical Fire/Overheat, Klefki can't hit you back very hard)
Loses to: Gastrodon

Offensive Pivots

:ss/salazzle:
Name of the Pokemon: Salazzle
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker
Type:
Poison.png
Electric.png

Abilities: Corrosion/Corrosive Strike* [HA]
Stat Distribution: 68/64/60/111/60/117 [480 BST]
Movepool Additions: Volt Switch, Thunder, Thunderbolt
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot, Substitute
Custom Elements: Corrosive Strike - Scrappy Clone, where Poison type attacks hit Steel for Neutral Effectiveness
Justification: Rather than relying on toxic stall, Salazzle now becomes much more aggressive. It's Hidden Ability, Corrosive Strike, draws inspiration as a less passive version of Corrosion. It's new typing, Poison/Electric, better compliments pivoting, as it gains access to STAB volt switch and finds itself less threatened to stealth rocks. This is especially helpful, as Salazzle is able to free up its item slot, due to needing HDB far less. It loses access to Nplot boosts to better encourage its pivoting nature. Salazzle does prove itself threatening against the likes of Klefki, and while it gets walled by Gastro, Gastro definitely doesn't appreciate the poison.

:ss/carnivine:
Name of the Pokemon: Carnivine
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker
Type:
Grass.png
Dark.png

Abilities: Levitate/Natural Cure [HA]
Stat Distribution: 74/105/72/85/72/120 [528 BST]
Movepool Additions: Dual Wingbeat, Uproot*
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance
Custom Elements: Uproot - Grass type U-turn clone
Justification: Carnivine gains a great boost to its speed, enabling its new role as a Pivot and making it much easier to wallbreak. It's dark typing compliments its rather frequent occurrence of dark type moves, most notably including Knock Off. It's Hidden Ability, Natural Cure, supports its pivoting role and helps ensure Carnivine will not be sent out of commission by burns or paralysis. Another thing to note is it's access to Dual Wingbeat, which is there to provide Carnivine some coverage against a few of its many weaknesses, bug and fighting. As for where Carnivine stands within the meta so far, Carnivine finds itself beating Gastrodon for rather obvious reasons, while Klefki can wall anything Carnivine can really throw its way (although it likely doesn't appreciate getting hit by Knock Off).

Defensive Pivots

:ss/cofagrigus:
Name of the Pokemon: Cofagrigus
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Status Spreader, Mixed Wall
Type:
Ghost.png
Normal.png

Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stat Distribution: 78/95/145/50/105/30 [503 BST]
Movepool Additions: Parting Shot, Double-Edge, Body Slam, Earthquake, Sand Tomb
Movepool Removals: Toxic Spikes
Justification: The only real changes to Cofa's stats are a bit extra bulk, as well as swapping the attack and special attack stats. However, the larger changes come with basically everything else. With access to the normal typing, Cofa's typing supports three immunities and only one weakness, making it rather easy to switch out to. Cofa also gains a pivoting move itself, with access to parting shot. With both this and Wisp, Cofagrigus can be quite effective in reducing damage received by incoming allies. It also gains access to Double-Edge, Body Slam, and Earthquake to help it hold its own better offensively (and also provide some Physcial Normal STABs), as well as Sand Tomb. (which is really only flavor. How does an Egyptian coffin not get Sand Tomb?) Even with access strong to strong physical STABs such as Poltergeist, Body Press, and Earthquake, its offenses are nothing to really write home about. It can hold some offensive merits, but still struggles especially against wearing down the bulk of pre-existing walls such as Klefki. Some other things to note: Mold Breaker also supports Cofagrigus' reliability, helping it push past mons with anti-stat reduction abilities and magic bounce.

:ss/drednaw:
Name of the Pokemon: Drednaw
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin), Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Type:
Water.png
Steel.png

Abilities: Strong Jaw/Shell Armor/Swift Swim [HA]
Stat Distribution: 100/110/110/68/68/59 [515 BST]
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Shore Up, Anchor Shot, Heavy Slam, Rapid Spin, Spikes, Flash Cannon
Movepool Removals: Swords Dance, Stealth Rock
Justification: Water/Steel is a rather strong defensive type combo, with a grand total of 11 types that Drednaw resists or is immune to. With higher bulk and access to recovery via Shore Up, Drednaw can reliably be switched in, and its mid-low speed allows it to flip-turn to allies after most opponents already move, assuring a safe switch-in for allies. However, make sure keep note of Drednaw's weaker Special Bulk; a powerful special attacker could put a great deal of pressure on Drednaw. Another thing to note is its access to Anchor Shot/Jaw Lock/Whirlpool for trapping in opponents, allowing you to assure your opponent stays still while you pivot into an ally with a more favorable match-up. Access to Rapid Spin also makes it far easier to enable other mons to switch in. Defensively, Drednaw resists both of Klefki's stabs, and Klefki certainly doesn't wish to stay in against an Earthquake. However Drednaw definitely doesn't want to stay in against Gastrodon. It can still do a good chunk of damage through non-stabs, but Earth Power does some serious damage to Drednaw.

Type: Ice/Bug
Abilities: Shield Dust / Ice Body (H: Ice Scales)
Stats: 75 / 70 / 95 / 120 / 100 / 65 (BST: 525)
Movepool Additions: Moonblast
Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance
Description: This pokemon has good special bulk, defog, stun spore, u-turn & also not being that passive. However this comes at the cost of having a hot garbage type. This pokemon realistically will only be running HDB. This pokemon also has not that amazing physical bulk that can be taken advantage of. Also Quiver Dance is a no go cause QD would be the only amazing set then.

:ss/slowpoke:
Name: Slowpoke (eviolite compatible)
Role: Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot
Type: Water/Psychic
Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo (H: Unaware)
Stats: 80 / 80 / 60 / 110 / 40 / 35 (BST: 405)
Movepool Additions:
Movepool Removals: Future Sight
Description: A great partner for Klefki as it resists the ground and fire types and is able to hit back with water stab. Although it isn't that strong offensively so it is mainly a good defensive partner. Eviolite gives it extra bulk but makes it incredibly annoyed by knock off.

:ss/deoxys-speed:
Name: Deoxys-Speed
Role: Offensive Pivot

Movepool Additions: U-Turn
Movepool Removals: Superpower, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Calm Mind, Teleport, Focus Blast, All Ice Coverage, Nasty Plot, All Dark Coverage
Description: SHPEED PIVOTING

Movepool Additions: Bolt Beak, Wild Charge, Flip Turn, Hydro Pump, Surf, Thunderbolt
Movepool Removals: Liquidation, Aqua Jet
Description: Fast Breaker Pivot. Why doesn't this get Flip Turn normally? Whatever I'm still doing a pivoting Arrokuda.

Movepool Additions: Megahorn, Spikes
Movepool Removals: Drill Run, Swords Dance
Custom Elements: Speedster (Moxie clone. Boosts Speed on KO)
Justification: Very fast mon with U-Turn. Does struggle with Klefki but does big damage to Gastro. Spikes are cool too.

Name of the Pokemon: Skuntank
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Defog, Stallbreaker
Type: Dark/Fire
Abilities: Neutralizing Gas / Keen Eye
Stat Distribution: 143 / 93 / 67 / 71 / 61 / 84
Movepool Additions: Knock Off
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot
Justification: Offensive mons love not having to deal with Unaware, Magic Guard, Regenerator and the like. Typing does well against Klefki but struggles vs Gastro.

:flapple:
Name of the Pokemon: Flapple
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Status absorber, Knock Off absorber, Stallbreaker, Hazard removal, physical breaker
Type: Grass/Dragon
Abilities: Poison Heal / Ripen
Stat Distribution: 70 / 90 / 115 / 65 / 75 / 95
Movepool Additions: Roost, Rapid Spin, Taunt
Justification: Lots of team support here once it gets the Toxic Orb going. Does struggle with Klefki unless it gets a lot of Grav Apples on it, but Gastrodon is no problem.

:articuno:
Name of the Pokemon: Articuno
Role(s): Defensive pivot, Defog, Cleric
Type: Ice/Flying
Abilities: Magic Guard
Stat Distribution: 80 / 75 / 90 / 85 / 115 / 75
Justification: Magic Guard could make a defensive Ice type viable due to not needing to run boots. Freeze Dry ensures you beat Gastrodon but I don't think you ever beat Klefki so it's a good thing you get U-Turn. Cleric support is cool as are Defog and Haze. Maybe screens too?

Abilities: Intimidate
Stat Distribution: 100 / 115 / 95 / 80 / 90 / 75
Movepool Additions: None
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: It is Incineroar. It has a really good ability in Intimidate, access to some really good utility and coverage, and some great stats make this boy a really good defensive pivot. It gets killed by Gastrodon though as it resists a ton of its attacks.

I also see that people are posting Monkeys, so why not complete the trio?

:ss/simisage:
Name of the Pokemon: Simisage

Abilities: Technician / Gluttony
Stat Distribution: 75 / 113 / 80 / 60 / 80 / 90
Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Extreme Speed
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot
Justification: It's about time for all 3 monkeys to go into monkey business. This guy boasts a pretty good typing, a really good ability to give its Power-Up Punch some extra power, and some pretty good stuff like U-Turn for pivoting and Extreme Speed for priority. It also gets Dark-type STAB for its Knock Off and Grass-type STAB for some other things. Gets killed by Klefki though as it can be immune to its Gunk Shots as well as Quad-resisting its U-turn and also because Grass/Dark gives Klefki a shining opportunity. Also dies to U-Turn.

Other guys coming soon.

Movepool Additions: Gunk Shot, Dragon Darts, U-turn
Movepool Removals: Cosmic Power, Recover
Justification: Eternatus relies on speed and its access to U-turn to keep up momentum versus the opposing team. It has a solid defensive typing and good physical bulk, but it is kept in check with it's inability to touch Klefki and it losing the 1v1 versus Gastrodon.

Justification: Rotom-Frost comes in as a strong pivot thanks to it's STAB Volt Switch. Ice Beam gives it a reliable Ice type and Recover allows it to go the distance versus various threats.

Justification: Tyrogue uses its solid bulk in combination with Eviolite and Intimidate to soak up a wide assortment of hits from physical threats.

Offensive pivots

:ss/tangrowth:
Name of the Pokemon: Tangrowth
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Defensive Pivot, Wallbreaker, Special Wall (AV)
Type:
Grass.png

Abilities: Chlorophyll / Leaf Guard / Regenerator
Stat Distribution: 120 / 125 / 55 / 115 / 45 / 45 (BST: 505)
Movepool Additions: Nasty Plot, Weather Ball
Movepool Removals:
Justification: A cool wallbreaker who gets access to all the utility grass type grants as well as to a surprising amount of coverage: it gets Knock Off, Earthquake and like Brick Break on the physical side as well as Focus Blast and Sludge Bomb on the special side. Its also gonna be a damn good chlorophyll abuser if sun is ever a thing. Also a regen pivot, but with bulk ratings like those (Physical Bulk: 79 Special Bulk: 68 Mixed Bulk: 73) its not as bad as it seems. Its bulk is very customizable tho.

:ss/meloetta-pirouette:
Name of the Pokemon: Meloetta-Pirouette
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Choice Band Abuser, Hazard Control
Type:
Normal.png
Fighting.png

Abilities: Serene Grace / Magic Bounce
Stat Distribution: 54 / 114 / 60 / 62 / 82 / 128 (BST: 500)
Movepool Additions: Fake Out, Double-Edge
Movepool Removals:
Justification: With such a paper-thin bulk this thing is difficult to get on the field, but once its there god you'll want it out. This thing is a nightmare for both Offense and Stall, the first with its high speed stat and access to priority and the latter to its multiple tools including the bounce as well as trick. Miss loetta is still a literal twig tho, if it cant break you one shot it is dead.

Defensive pivots

:ss/graveler-alola:
Name of the Pokemon: Graveler-Alola (Eviolite Compatible)
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Stealth Rock Setter
Type:
Electric.png
Rock.png

Abilities: Levitate
Stat Distribution: 55 / 35 / 70 / 105 / 125 / 35 (BST: 425)
Movepool Additions: Pain Split, Power Gem, Meteor Beam
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Rock/Electric coupled with Levitate makes for a surprisingly decent defensive type. We don't have a stealth rock setter yet so here's one that might be able to beat future flying type defogers.

:ss/skarmory:
Name of the Pokemon: Skarmory
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall, Hazard Removal, Stealth Rock Setter, Gimmick Sweeper
Type:
Flying.png

Abilities: Keen Eye / Rough Skin / Weak Armor
Stat Distribution: 65 / 90 / 140 / 40 / 70 / 60 (BST: 465)
Movepool Additions: U-turn
Movepool Removals: Iron Head, Spikes
Justification: Glue bird. Does skarm stuff and also pivots around now.
