Some of you may have noticed the Circle Stone Trading Post recently installed next to the Clay Coop at Spawn, how it works is there is a chest filled with 16 Circle Stone Brick, you place in a stack of stone brick as a swap. We know this is a lot but we didn't want to make a currently unobtainable item too easy to get rather than too easy and once it is put in the game our method was way too easy.
Anyways don't mess it up please as I will be watching carefully.
Also our light sensors have been on the fritz, I've tried to no avail anybody have a way to fix them?

Right so I logged on today after like 2 weeks of inactivity since I have serious irl shit to deal with and this is what I find:
Firstly, people tell me the endfarm has been fucked beyond repair and there isn't anything that can be done to reverse it. I spent 3 stacks of pistons on that which amounts to 3 stacks of iron and 3 stacks of redstone. On top of that I spent another 6 stacks of redstone for the torches. Plus a bunch of wood for pressure plates, pistons and torches. I'm not asking for much- either an admin could help me out by recreating it in creative mode or just pay me back the stuff I lost.
Also when I checked my chests, a bunch of my tools were missing. Strange that only the good tools were missing though, and obviously log block did nothing to tell me who could have taken the stuff.
Finally, I had a chest which contained a stack of pistons, a sizeable amount of redstone and some other items at the Oho Melon farm. I put a sign above it that clearly said "buddha's stuff dont steal" but of course all the stuff is gone and once again log block says nothing.
forks layell ben I realise you could just go and say "no evidence no compensation" but I think this is deeply unfair. I'm most upset about losing the end farm really, I can regain my diamond tools and pistons but I don't want to have to spend ages gathering up the resources for the farm and building it up again since it took quite a lot of time and benefited the whole community. It was by far the fastest xp farm on smogcraft, and provided everyone with pearls for no cost.

I'm going to go home for summer soon and then I'll have access to my lovely lovely PC. <3 Expect to see me around more since I'll be able to play Minecraft without A) lagging out every three minutes, and B) deafening people with my laptop fan.
Oh and I guess I can record more Smogcraft episodes too.

yo buddha, that was mostly my fault - ultimately the result of two separate mishaps involving backups of the map. my knowledge of redstone is pretty lacking, but i'd be happy to help repair the farm in any way i can. at the very least, i will restore your lost materials.
as for the chest in oho, i'm not really sure what happened there. we switched to a new sql database when we transferred the map to the new host, which is why old logblock data isn't showing up. it may still exist in the old database, however. if you tell me where exactly the old chest is, i'll boot up the old rsh server and see what i can find out.

I don't know the exact coords of the chest but I'd be happy to show you the location. If it's too much of a hassle, dw about it I think I have enough materials to get those few pistons back. I'd still like to see what happened to my tools chest though if it isn't a problem. If there isn't any evidence of theft, I understand if you can't compensate because then that would set a precedent and anyone could just go asking for free stuff whenever the server crashes etc

For the people asking to remove the redstone lamps behind the spawn nether portal in the nether: don't. You'll confuse newer players that wont know which way to go to get wherever. It should be one way, with signs directing people to each portal.
edit: since the nether is somewhat destroyed, now is the time to redesign pathways and such to make them more logical.

I've posted a survey in the Social Group that I would appreciate some feedback on if you guys can take a minute to check it out.
Also noticed somebody already set off a creeper in the desert I fixed; while the desert was redone in a specific fashion so that it's resistant to damage and future repair is easy, please refrain from doing it.
EDIT: I need to build a warehouse, anybody think they could design one? I imagine it's not that hard, I'm just not a terribly creative person.
EDIT 2: Can anybody with the current snapshot tell me if URLs work in Written Books like they do in chat?

Hold shift and use the arrow keys or click while a server is selected to move it
- Automagical downloading of texture packs when joining servers
Texture pack can be hosted anywhere
Only default-sized texture packs are supported out of the box
Toggleable per-server
server.properties file: texture-pack=http://test.org/tex.zip
- Started merging Multiplayer and Singleplayer
- Sped up chunk loading
- More fixes to silk touch and block picking
- Wooden tools now work in furnaces
- Villagers spawned from spawning eggs will get a random profession
- Updated language files
- Renamed different types' of sandstone and stone bricks tooltips to show their kind
- Jungle leaves now rarely drop cocoa beans
"1/200" like apples
- Added 3 values to F3 mode:
ws: Walking speed
fs: Flying speed
g: Boolean value, true when you touch the ground
- The coordinates on the F3 screen are now truncated to 5 fractional digits
- Added setting to disable servers offering you texture packs
- Fixed some bugs
- Fixed logs' and planks' tooltips not showing their kind of wood
- Fixed wooden top slabs all looking the same
- Fixed music and sound sliders not showing their percentages
- Fixed many sounds not playing in Multiplayer
- Fixed being unable to switch tools of the same kind in your inventory
- Fixed water destroying non-solid blocks when breaking them from above
New bugs:
- Doors don't make sounds
- You always spawn in survival mode
- Enchanting tables don't ever show enchantments
- Enchanted stuff doesn't display its state of enchantment, but the actual enchantments work

Basically it is time to make a nether rail, right? :D
I was thinking about making a nether rail back on the old server. The problem is that there's no way to prevent pigmen spawning on the tracks.
Only way I found was to place glass blocks just above the rail, which due to a glitch don't seem to suffocate you when you go through them. Relying on a glitch isn't a great idea though.

Here is the System School of Redstone (Redstone Museum) so far. It is supposed to look like those roman buildings with big pillars. I would like an opinion on how it looks...
Also once I finish the building, I would like someone to help me with all the sorts of applications and things. The bottom floor will consist of all the logic gates (or most of them). The top floor will have applications of redstone, such as things like a completely hidden piston door, and things like that. The redstone will be completely visible, so it actually is a museum
