For reference, here are the commands you SHOULD be able to use:

/afk - sets you to AFK status
/me - allows you to talk in third person
/mail - allows you to look at mail
/mail send - allows you to send mail
/suicide - self explanatory
/home set - set your home. yes it's different, deal with it!
/home - go home!
/warp spawn - warp to spawn!

New host, new IP, new whitelist unfortunately. I've added a few names of those who immediately came to mind, so if you're not whitelisted...guess what? PM ME! That's going to be a lot of PMs.. better clear out my inbox... *coughcanihavemorePMroomplzcough*

So this will serve as another interim map until 1.9 or 1.10 drops, whatever..who knows when the terrain generation stop changing. We should be getting 1.9/1.10 sometime before October 18th, as that's when Mojang are stopping work on Minecraft until after MineCon (end of Nov). So get on, stress test the server, check it out for block placing lag and other performance issues, and of course whether you can use all the commands.

Disclaimer: I Probably forgot stuff.
 
Or go into your .minecraft folder and delete the bin folder. It will re-download it when you login next time, and you'll be on 1.8.1.
 
darkie and i found what amounted to be a quadruple ravine with a massive cave system near spawn, forgot the coords though somewhere around x= -320 z= 330 is the entrance. we're gonna be building at the bottom for whoever wants to make a town!
 
Does this mean everything's been deleted? If so, then I'm happy. I never could find that good spot to build my house... Gonna make a small sand tower like they have in the pokemon games black and white with stairs leading down to my basement! Oh ya, dan dan. I had been building a house in the old server and someone had messed with it. They put a sign up on my house and on the inside there were ladders covering the walls everywhere. On top of that, there was a pressure pad with TNT underneath it. Luckily it didn't go off, but he almoste blew my house up... I wasn't around when he did it but I thought I should let you know.

Sweet. Can't wait to build my house. But dan dan, have you not gotten my PM yet? Or are you just not online for today? I haven't been white listed yet. I'm still jamster1297.

I might be on during the weekends, but that's about it for now
how's that spawn village thing going god I loved the look of that place

Woah. There's gonna be a town in that ravine?! Crazy man. You're gonna need a lot of coal to light that place up. Of course, the coal's down there. But you need to light the place up so you can find the coal.... Oh. Well, I think Im gonna just make my house above ground. That is.... When I get whitelisted.

How far is the ravine from the spawn point? Always wanted a cave house, or maybe one built into the side of the wall, that'd be neat.

Man, I can't seem to find a good spot to place my house. I'm way too hesitant because I'm afraid that the town will be placed somewhere where my house won't be and I'll have to move. I don't have any iron or flint to burn down some trees for space, and to top it all off, we have a big ravine in the middle of the map which I don't want to place my house too near to, because I want to have it with a basement. Can someone help me?

I also don't know how to warp.
 
Mmk, just a personal opinion, but the town will most likely be near spawn, which can be warped to by typing in / warp spawn

You set your home by saying /home set. You warp to it by saying /home

So don't worry too much about being in town man... Unless you want to be right in the center of it all...
 
The Aerie has been completed, for the most part. If you can find it, feel free to stay the night and resupply your stocks (but you better intend to repay me for anything you take!). It's not too far from spawn and it's a fairly scenic location.

Too bad this is an interim map. I had bigger plans for my place that I have to put on hold until we get a permanent map.
