The Rangers look pretty impressive, man. I thought Wilson was going to struggle too, but he pitched very well.

I'm kind of worried for my team to face them.
 
what a round of pitching performances! Halladay, Lincecum, Lee? CJ Wilson even threw a fantastic game today. Halladay's was certainly the most impressive (what with the 1 line drive and 12 GBs) but Tim's was very close.

postseason + shutdown pitching is the most exciting part of baseball. goosebumps watching Lincecum work the Braves tonight (sadly i missed the Halladay game cause of damned classes!).
 
Yankees limped into the playoffs and had me worried, but go home in great position to advance to the ALCS. Yankees vs Rangers would be a great series, Lee vs CC is chock full of story lines and both teams are very similar overall, should make for a great series barring any chokes this round.
 
Who else are they going to use though? Garza has been inconsistent as well, and Davis has had his fair share of problems as well. Their best shot to capture lightning in a bottle was Hellickson but they converted him to a reliever for the rest of the season and now they're screwed. Yankees and Rangers should be a great series, but I don't think they're as similar as you're saying.

Hellickson isn't on the playoff roster.

I think Davis goes tomorrow, and Price comes back on short rest if there is a Game 5.
 
I think all Yankee fans are hoping that the series goes the distance, because that'll clear the ace of each respective team until game 3 the earliest.
 
any giants fans here? i dont expect us to go past the phillies (EDIT: at least not without a major improvement from our hitting, not leaving guys on, and relief) but goddamn our starting pitchers have been nothing but stellar. relief pitchers, ehhh. and thank god for brooks conrad.

Emotional lost for the Rays...That was probably their last chance at a tittle. Now Crawford/Pena/Soriano are free-agents...Let's see where they land.

I really wanted both to win, but only 1 can advance to the ALCS. I'm happy for the rangers, first post-season series win in History!! (Lol damnn!!) crazy but yeah...

Rangers Vs Yankees will be a must see series...
