when entei and raikou respawn after beating the elite four, are they the same ones as before, or are stats, shininess, and nature new?
Will someone please answer this as soon as possible? I'm still saved infront of the old man and can't play until I figure this out:

Catching pokemons in HGSS is the same than DPPt? They advance the same amount of frames? Or that is not known yet?
Still want to be answered.
Also, I just want to be sure that in HGSS while you walk to have 128 steps, turning aroiund does not count as a step, and turning and walking counts as 1 right?
Yes it is basically the same except Wild Pokemon are Method K not Method JPastel said:Catching pokemons in HGSS is the same than DPPt? They advance the same amount of frames? Or that is not known yet?

I have a couple questions about these steps.
- Turn on your DS and set the date to at least two days after your current date. This will ensure that the Journal comes up.
- Reset your game, and then immediately cancel the Journal and collect the egg. Remember to speak to the Daycare man as quickly as you can as the frame starts to increase as soon as the Journal is canceled.
- Encounter a wild Pokémon as quickly as possible.
- Catch the encountered Pokémon.
- Select "Breeding (DPPt)" and then click "Generate" with this initial seed.
- Hatch your Pokémon and narrow down its IVs enough to find out which frame you hit in the generated spreads. When looking at spreads in RNG Reporter, remember that "A" means the stat was inherited from the parent that was placed into Daycare first, "B" second.
- Repeat Steps 7-10 about four or five times, making a note of the frame number of the egg each time. We're going to use this number in the next step to find a suitable spread that we can hit with ease.

And no walking around in areas WITH Wild Pokemon in HG/SS is not reliable at all, but if you are in an Area WITHOUT any Wild Pokemon yes 128 Steps does advance your frame by how many Pokemon are in your party
I mean that if turning counts as a step.
Yes, it does. Like steps, they shouldn't be relied upon to advance.
Ok, thanks, so turning and advancing counts as 2 right?
Beeing on the bike or using the running shoes counts too?
And walking when I'm against a walk still counts as a step?
Walking\turning\whatever does not advance consistently in HGSS (i.e. doesn't always advance by 2). Both Jubilee and I have told you this, we shouldn't have to repeat ourselves. And this info is on the second post of the thread as well.
I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PLACES WHERE THERE ARE WILD POKEMONS! I am talking about places where there are no appearances of wild pokemons, when I'm counting the 128 steps.
I'm now in the final stage of SRing for an IV spread, and I need to hit 602 delay, however I have hit the following:
605,605,605,611,599, all odd numbers. Someone before said something about only being able to hit odd or even numbers, I am on Platinum, is it even possible for me to hit 602?
no turning does not count when you do the 128 steps in an area with no wild pokemon and you can use the bike or running shoesI know it still works, what I want to know is that if turning counts as 1 step, turning and moving as 2, running into trees also counts as steps, and if using the running shoes a}or the bike also counts as steps.

If I recall someone posted that the pokemon standing behind you has an effect on how much it advances frames so try it while using the bike and you may get consistent results. How much Sweet Scenting in HG&SS actually advance your frame?
I always read something about 6 but today I experienced 3. Is it inconsistent?
if your curious why don't you go to the areas you want to abuse in and try to use it, it isn't that difficult or time consumingPartially reposting again since nobody answered this simple question...
Which isn't on the first page...
What exactly are the places you can't use the Elm-calling method?
Is there a list?
I know someone said "you can use it anywhere, anytime", but he's wrong.
The one place I only know it can't be used is in those Elite 4 rooms.
But are there other places too?

I can't be sure, but I think your solution is to add a year or take one offI am up to about 10 misses so far, all odd numbers....

I haven't read your other posts, but do you have a 3rd gen cart in your DS? If so, take it out, as it will change delays in Platinum from odd to even and vice versa. Otherwise, you can just simply adjust the year on your DS by 1. Adding a year will lower your delay by 1, and subtracting a year will raise your delay by 1.
