how do i find it seed and what method should i use?

It depends on how much time you have in your hands.
As I said once, I'd rather go for a high delay instead of a high frame.
For example, my shiny adamant spread has a delay of 2795 and I'm slowly getting better at hitting it.
Personally, I wouldn't go past 3000.

I'm considering just changing the year to get my normal 621. Personally, I couldn't care less what year a poke is caught in. But I'm afraid it'll hurt the trade value too much.

Well...they're slightly over 3000, so you can always try imo.
Those are good spreads (especially the first two) so you should really try. ;)

I've been trying the timid one for rotom. No luck so far I don't quite understand either of the emloop guides. I've gotten 3312, but the seconds aren't right so I'm a little confused. But I'll keep trying.

Also, is the whole calibration phase just a tool to help you figure out exactly how many seconds it takes YOU to go from SR to in game or does it serve some other purpose I just don't understand?
Just caught my first RNG-abused Pokemon Timid HP Grass 70 Heatran! (30 HP / 18 Atk / 31 Def / 30 SAtk / 31 SDef / 31 Spe). THank you to all contributors to this thread (especially lightningfusion, red phoenix, bearsfan, & mingot!)

I am trying to capture an Adamant Quagsire using RNG-reporter... It seems pretty much the same thing as catching a non-roaming legend, except that I need to stop the movement of NPCs. Just a quick question, though. When using Sweet Scent to hit the target frame, and if I happened to get a different pokemon other than Quagsire, how does that affect my frame? Can I just run away from the pokemon and increase my current frame to the next desired frame for an Adamant spread?
Or does it change to the actual frame of the Pokemon I have encountered +5, just as Tri-Dark Soul mentioned on the previous page?
Also Quagsire's Water Absorb is Ability 1, right??

Ok i dont really onderstand how to use the RNG to catch wild pokemon and the legendary birds. Can someone explain to me how?

In all the video guides I've seen (and it even looks this way in the written guide too) you start out in say the resort area and you catch a L50 pokemon. Then you put it's info into the RNG reporter and determine what you want to catch, the date/time you need to change to, and how many journal flips it will take. Here's my problem...
When do you fly/walk from the resort area where you get your seed info to whatever legendary you want to catch in order to save in front of it?
Do you head straight there as soon as you have your date/time and journal flips without shutting the game off, save in front of it and go from there, or would that mess your frame up with all that walking with 5 pokemon in your party?

Not sure what it means by SRing- you should always be saved and in front of the legendary first. You have to use Wichu's amazingly handy tool to find a target frame, then work out its timings.
The first thing you need to do is get in front of Regigigas and save your game, then shut off and get it to the right time. Then you work out from the necessary delay how many seconds you'll need to wait (Delay/60 = delay in seconds, then you subtract this from the seconds value you need). Then you take this hypothetical value (99.9% it'll be wrong; don't worry about this) and carry out the timings as if this was the real deal. Then masterball Regigigas, and find his IVs. RNG Reporter will tell you what delay you actually hit. Work out how far off in seconds this was from your target, and adjust emloop as necessary. You should then have your correct timings, so just keep trying until you hit the target, working out if you've hit the target by doing coin flips. Have another window of RNG reporter open with your seed in, having generated the list of egg spreads for you. If you've hit the seed, any coin flips you do will match the egg spreads perfectly. If they don't, you've hit the wrong seed.

Quick question: I am resetting for IVs right now - aim for target time, make sure I hit the journal at the start, do journal flips, cancel and immediately collect egg. The guide on the first page says you can do coin flips or catch a wild pokemon at a high enough level to ensure you hit your target time and delay. My question: wouldn't doing coin flips with an NPC moving nearby (near the egg breeder) invalidate the flips, since it would increase the frame?
Nope, you can do your coin flips without worrying what the other NPCs are doing :)
Actually, coin flips are set when your initial seed is generated (and perhaps by some other stuff, but that information will do).
So if you get the right frame, and the coin flips match, you can be quite certain you have your desired pokémon, because when the coin flips match, you're certain you got your initial seed correct.
