Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Thanks for the prompt response as Im in desperate condition dont know what to try right now lol

Anyway, let me describe the calibration I did:

Cancel the journal(which got a pokemon caught on the first page, but doesnt matter anyway i think)
Quickly getting the egg(when i spoke to the old man, the frame for the egg should be set at this moment right? I got the frame 3 using the calibration)
Capture a lvl 50+ pokes using fly
Use the captured pokemon for initial calibration
And then hatch the pokemon and matching the iv, which i got the frame 3.

So, then i started IV breed with this:
Open RNG reporter and generate seeds using frame 3.
After I found a desired seed, I jot down the target time, delay, date, etc
Soft reset
Cancel the journal
quickly get the egg
use coin flips to check the target time and delay
eventually Im successful, then I hatch the egg and compare the IVs to the list on RNG reporter of frame 3
The IV of my newly hatched poke does not match the one in RNG list of frame 3, though the target time, delay, date are all correct, that is why the coin flip also matched just now.
So I widen the search by changing the min frame 3 and max frame 10.
Then I found the exactly same IV with my newly hatched pokemon, its target time, delay, date are all correct,so does coin flips. but it is in frame 6, instead of 3. the one in frame 3 does not match with my newly hatched poke IV.

dunno why...

I do own SoulSilver, but I use a flashcard for convenience (and built in AR, so I don't have to cram that large sucker in and boot through that). Is it possible to RNG using a flashcard? I have spent countless hours trying to accomplish this but it never seems to work. Thanks.

Yeah, it is. Otherwise how would people RNG through emulators and the like. There's a different calibrated delay I would think though.

Wait doing the actual iv abuse are you cancelling the journal?
Current doing cal hw so this a time delay to when i respond

Edit
Ok so your targt frame is 3 and you egg frame 3 correct?

That means you do 0 flip
(if your journal pops up and it says your capture/defeated a pokemon then you frame could be increasing by 2)
(eventhough minigot and the guide says dont count the inital page, many do count the page so this could cause a problem) and yhen a npc move cause your frame to be 6

excuse me but, Is it possible to get the gamestop celebi shiny if you rng it using the wonder card method?
No. If a wondercard poke isn't always shiny, it wont ever be shiny. All or nothing.

Edit: BWAHAHAHA *disappears back into the shadows*

Wichu, does PokeRNG require .Net, or is it standalone? (:
It uses the Qt GUI library, but I've packed in the required DLLs with the Windows version. The only time you'll need to download anything else would be if you're using a Mac.

Anyway, I made a small update to PokéRNG, to fix these bugs and make a few additions:
  • Rarely, the Method J/K frames would be incorrect
  • The encounter slot finder sometimes failed to find the correct non-Synch frames
  • The frame numbers for the first valid seed searched (equal to the minimum delay) were wrong
  • The default max delay was too small
  • The year in the seed finder now defaults to the current year
  • Labelled Method K fishing frames as tentative (the encounter slot should be correct, but there's no guarantee the fishing will succeed)
  • Added tentative Rock Smash encounter slots (same as above)
I'm going to do some research into fishing and Rock Smash later, so I can properly add them.

So:
If you downloaded PokéRNG/RNG Tools yesterday, redownload it now! (or wait until I sort out HG/SS fishing/Rock Smash)

EDIT:
So I have my SID from two lucky non radar shinies on platinum and cross checked it with SID checker.

Calibrated delay and stuff.

So....

Rng my crown raikou wonder card with say... HP fighting spread.

How do
You didn't finish your message, but I can tell you TID/SID has absolutely no relevance to RNGing events whatsoever. TID/SID are only needed for shinies; events are either always shiny (e.g. Raikou) or never ever shiny (e.g. Celebi).

EDIT 2: A minor project I've been working on:

It should be ready sometime today.

In the past 3 days i have been vm people's profiles for some help on an emulator RNG. I am using Heart Gold and i am trying to hatch a fllawless pokemon.. Icalibrated and my delay range and seconds are stable. The problem is when i set the windows clock with the seed time i get in game and the elm calls doesn't find match. I set the delays-+100 and the secs -+5 but still no match. I catch a wild pokemon immediately after elm calls and i see that he delay i hit was pretty close to the target but still no elm call match..anyone who has done an emulator rng i would really appreciate the help...i am using desmume

So, now I'm trying to get my perfect suicune on Soul Silver. The best possible suicune I can get is Naughty 31/29/31/30/30/31. Can I use synchronize to get it Timid? I have no idea how that ability works. :s

//edit *sigh* I guess I can't.

Loukas, try set -+30 delays instead and just -+2 seconds and see what happens. Some delays have same or almost same elm calls so RNGreporter may lead you wrong... Imo you should use -+99 range only when u don't know what is your calibrated delay.

Can somebody explain to me how to RNG abuse pokewalker pokemon, or redirect me to a good guide/explanation?
And also how to RNG using encounter slots for wild pokemon?

Just need something to explain the steps of what i must do etc.
I'm familiar with the normal stationary method J/K and method 1 gift pokemon RNG abusing

I hope thats not too much to ask for. =|
thanks.

Are you going for a Shiny Suicune?
There's always a Timid Spread that can give all 31 in IV's.

Normal atm, I can't find a single shiny suicune with decent IV's.
Really? o.O Maybe I should search a little bit more then. Thanks. Though RNGReporter crashes if I try to search from 1000+ frames and 4000 delays.

Don't use RNG Reporter, use PokeRNGDP instead. Anyway, it seems you'll be having trouble with that and I have just got the perfect list for you.

You surely know that Suicune is generated via Method K, so this list might be helpful. There you go, a Timid Nature with all kinds of HP base power 70.
K (Synch) means that you need a Timid Syncher to hit this seed with the corresponding frame.

So, now I'm trying to get my perfect suicune on Soul Silver. The best possible suicune I can get is Naughty 31/29/31/30/30/31. Can I use synchronize to get it Timid? I have no idea how that ability works. :s

//edit *sigh* I guess I can't.

Loukas, try set -+30 delays instead and just -+2 seconds and see what happens. Some delays have same or almost same elm calls so RNGreporter may lead you wrong... Imo you should use -+99 range only when u don't know what is your calibrated delay.
i already tried still the elm calls don't match...i think the procedure i am going is right...any more suggestions?

Don't use RNG Reporter, use PokeRNGDP instead. Anyway, it seems you'll be having trouble with that and I have just got the perfect list for you...

Thank you very much. *hug* I think I'm going to try d2140289 from that list since it looks like it's easy to get (delay 638, 28.05.2011). ^^ Ye, I'll keep that in mind that synch means that I need the syncher...

Ok. I'm trying to simply RNG me a shiny. Don't care about nature, IV's, Ability. Everytime i mess up though. The Pokemon isn't shiny nor does it even have the nature it's supposed to have

UPDATE~ Nevermind! JUST HATCHED MY FIRST SHINY! A FARFETCH'D!

Does this new program help with getting specific natures on variable-nature WonderCards?

I have a Mew I want to get, and Celebi is next month, and I'll be wanting good natures for both. Not really looking forward to SRing for 1/25 odds.

While it is a great program, I don't think anything predicts WC natures because they're based on something else entirely.

when I convert my ID/SID from decimal to bin(0 and 1s),if it will give me less than 16 numbers, should i add 0 at the beginning of the bin number?
