Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I guess keep the ZomgTimer inside of the folder and drop the whole folder into the desktop. Then open it from the folder... I had this same problem last night when I first downloaded everything for RNG for the first time.

Oh.. you're trying to open it from the browser? Not sure if that would be a problem or not.

It's either C:\Users\username\Downloads
or C:\downloads

Not sure which since I don't use firefox.
 
Hi I'm playing Heartgold, and I'm quite unsure about RNG breeding for shiny pokemon and for IVs.
I looked at the DPP guide to hatching shiny pokemon etc, but I'm not sure how to apply it in HG/SS.
can someone just briefly outline each step in RNG abusing for eggs (how to first make an egg shiny and then get the desired IVs and which option I should use on RNG reporter to search for HG/SS spreads and know what frame I should hit beforehand.)

and btw I know how to abuse for method 1 and method J/K pokemon, if that helps.

Use Wichu's most recent program for windows (it's REALLY fast), and search for greater than 25 in all stats, TR sets, special sets, and physical sets.
 
So, Raikou is on frame 1 and Entei is on frame 6, right? I've got 2 the same spreads, 1 on frame 662 and 1 on frame 668. Is it possible to capture both with the same spread? Or did I miscalculate?

Edit: First post here says when Raikou is caught, Entei will be one frame 1. So, if I capture Raikou first, and then go and search for Entei, would they have the same spread?

This only counts for generating Entei's IVs after you've captured Raikou, so if you got Raikou and want to RNG Entei at the Elite Four, then it would be frame 1. If you release all 3 at the same time, they should be 1,6 and 11. 1 being Raikou, 6 being Entei, and 11 being Latios.
 
A new version of PokéRNG is out. The main new feature is a faster search algorithm. And by faster, I mean faster. Also has support for searching by ability.
 
Some weeks ago i RNGed for a Shiny Bulbasaur in HG with no particular IVs, it took time, but worked.

Now i was trying to RNG for a Koffing with good IVs (no shinyness), but no matter what i can't hit my delay

Info:
Target Seed: F70C01FD
Frame: 8
Seed's Delay: 498

I got E,E,E,E,P,P,K,P,P with Elm's Responses.

I'm using Pikatimer to synchronize

Any helps is appreciated
 
yes, it is fast, but does anyone know that it was possible to find flawless\near-flawless spreads at the same speed with the normal RNG reporter? if you go into "seed finder", then check the little square with "open" written on its side (sorry for the english), if you write the IVs and choose the nature and then click on "find", it shows you a lot of seeds with those IVs, if they exist with that nature. the only advantage you have using the new pokerng is that it shows you the method K frame and the hidden power (and this is very useful, I mean!).
I'm not saying that this program is useless, I'm only saying that it was possible to find quickly very good spreads either with the normal RNG reporter, for those who still don't know.

Are you hitting even? If I were you I would look for something with a higher delay.

Delay is just your ability to hit a specific time, no one can really help you with that. It's something that's determined by pure timing or luck.
 
Just to be sure; Entei is on frame 6. My spread is one 693, so do I need to advance to 693-6=687 or do I have to be 6 frames in front of the spread, so 693-7=686? I guess 687 in this case, right?
