Love seeing ttar drill core still, any extra tips/potential swaps to make in the team depending on if Z crown gets banned? I have been running this:https://pokepast.es/87237febba4ee663
this team is fundamentally different than mine, though if you're solely interested in tar drill then fwiw i dont like z drill + rapid spin. if youre spinning with drill i think you should run balloon to avoid spikes and give you more opportunities to get the spin off or leftovers is another solid option. with sd/toxic and sand rush you have tools to distinguish yourself from treads. it also makes the z sets much more threatening having rock slide to threaten mons like zapdos/moltres who otherwise wall z steel. so my advice would be to find different removal with z drill or make drill your spinner, dont have him be both.

as for the team i sent, i did have zama c in mind while building but i imagine you could swap zama c->h for a similar effect. id try to see how roar works here asw. other than that maybe sd jet shifu>zama-c to help with volc, prob eq>toxic/dtail on chomp for mdiancie.

Teams I used during zamazenta crowned's suspect: (click mons)

:Ninetales-Alola: :zamazenta-crowned: :volcarona: :hatterene: :gyarados: :garchomp:

relatively standard veil team, took some inspo from darkness' hyper offense team, zamazenta benefits here from its' teammates wearing down its checks, team is likely to be worse compared to day one of suspect when I did my reqs as the meta has adapted to deal with zamazenta but the team should still be relatively strong. This team went 34-4 in reqs run losing a couple to hax and also couple user error.

Rank 1 team:

:weavile: :zamazenta-crowned: :zapdos: :slowking-galar: :alomomola: :great tusk:

This team is pretty cool, It also looks a lot like ezra's team that's commonly known I didn't intend this but yeah, team is built around weavile + zamazenta C with weavile pursuiting/getting a strong knock into zama checks and also breaking the grounds, physdef gking + av alo acts as the defensive core which blanket checks most of the metagame at the moment, Fightinium z glowking is such a good tech especially currently with the pursuit spam at the moment, whilst healthy this can ohko the likes of weavile and kingambit and also does like 95% or so to tyranitar off the top of my head and it also chunks zama C and should trade into it. catches a lot of individuals out, zapdos was originally defensive with a chomp as the breaker and rocker iirc however, that variant autolost to stall and defog isn't it right now, specs zapdos is absolutely insane im not gonna lie, as the switch went to offensive zapdos I needed some hazard control here so I went for great tusk as I don't like treads and I dont believe in pagos as a reliable spinner I went helmet here as I have a tspike absorber and helps chipping phys threats namely zama c, but boots is probably better more reliable as it impacts tusks reliability in a longer game, especially stall. stall is a very tuff mu here due to the lack of boots on the team. best option is to utlise pursuit to allow zapdos to pop off. I won't write too much here as its only the bazaar.

im kinda new to competitive pokemon but i just wanted to post my nationaldex ou team for feedback to be better!

https://pokepast.es/015eb1cd59b72d07

sorry i dont know how to post it like other people do :(
you want to build a screens team right? ideally you want really strong breakers that can take advantage of those screens you setup (sub dd :Dragonite:, quiver :Volcarona:, dd :Gyarados-Mega:, etc.)

:Klefki: as good as it appears to be isnt a reliable screens setter, :Cinderace: almost always forces you out, :Grimmsnarl: or :Zamazenta: would be much better, if your adamant on using klefki replace defog with foul play, otherwise you invite mons in to setup on you (:Scizor-Mega:, :Kingambit:, etc.)

the :Landorus-Therian: set is a bit strange as swords dance + u-turn is a bit unnecessary, and fly without z just isnt good at all

the :Regidrago: set just doesnt work at all in the current meta, its just not a mon that isn't viable at all espeicially if you're not running specs, ideally swap it for a better more immediate special breaker (specs/z calm mind :Tapu-Lele:, :Raging-Bolt:, etc. )

additionally :greninja: is just so outclassed by other water types that could do its job but much better especially on screens (:manaphy:, :ogerpon-wellspring:, :Samurott-Hisui:)

i think what your missing mostly is pokemon that take advantage of those screens in a short amount of time, i'm really sorry if this comes off as harsh but i would just remake the whole thing from scratch, any fairy type looks like a nightmare for this team aswell as you have no switchins to moon blast aside from klefki which lacks t-wave and can do nothing in return

Hello. After looking at your team and most notably what the goal of the team is I have some I feel useful tips

First. NationalDex does not use terras.
Second: The main goal of your team is to be screens hyper offense or offense I assume.
For screens to be used properly the team must be able to pack a punch and abuse screens. Screens most notably is better to help frail mons setup and make them turn into good wall breakers. I would recommend looking into team cores for both offense and defense when building this type of team.
Here is a video from my good friend Pinkacross that explains some of the basics of making a team.
I would also ignore what the other person said about remaking the team instead keep the idea and concept in your head and evolve it into something better that you're proud of.

P.S. "Evolve" Get it xD

the idea and concept is screens, if certain mons or sets don’t really work in the current meta or don’t benefit from screens, i think it’s fair to be upfront about it since they’re looking for advice on improving the team, not gonna say greninja is really good on screens

With this team, I just decided to grab 2 of my current favorite mons and build a team from there. I started with Zapdos and Mega Altaria, and just tried to build something somewhat balanced and usable.

1773960314940.png
- Standard phys def support. Ran heat wave over HP-Ice for super effective hits on Melmetal, Ferrothorn, Gambit, Mega Mawile, etc, but no
twave means I'm limiting paralysis to the static procs
1773960619165.png
- Bulky offense build perhaps trying to do one too many things at once between carrying my only knock off, pursuit trapping, and playing sucker punch headgames. Low kick in there for opposing gambit and other heavy targets
1773960715080.png
- Not-entirely-dedicated spike lead. Had a hard time choosing 4th slot between taunt, uturn, and knock off, but with his decent speed and common lead status, taunt seemed like a good choice.
1773960816650.png
- Hazard control kinda halfway split with full offense; big subzeros to try and catch lando and gliscor to wipe them from the board, and occasionally used as just good chip/incidental neutral damage in a tight/bad spot
1773960955039.png
- Primary special wall, psychic noise over future sight to help with subs, secondary paralysis to Zapdos static to help other offense match speed
1773961073799.png
- Set up sweeper, natural cure to clear status before mega in case of bad swaps, earthquake over dragon stab to oppose poison and steel types when boosted

I know this isn't great, but I'd like some insight into what it's lacking so I can combine that knowledge with what I'm learning from guides and videos about my teambuilding.

this is genuinely a great team, i really dont think its lacking anything per say, have you tested it out on ladder to see how it performs?

Aron to Top 100
heya, i'm Jas (or SquidSpring) and this is my first bazaar post
talked ab this a bit in the discord & wanted to post it here, peaked top 100 with Lv. 1 Aron ho

:Zamazenta: :Kingambit: :Ceruledge: :Aron: :Diancie-mega: :Ogerpon-wellspring:

Goes without saying that this is NOT a sample team submission as this team is very obviously not optimal and it is heavily heavily inspired by seth's sample ho with 5 of the same Pokemon, 3 of which are the same set.

I peaked 1796 with this before tilting all the way down to like 1710, fought Pinkacross during my climb too it was pretty cool even tho I got packed up by :Raichu-alola:.

Opera Snapshot_2026-03-19_213520_play.pokemonshowdown.com.png

not the highest peak ever but I'm still proud of it considering it was with Aron. I probably could have gone higher if I played my last like 10 games in a better headspace.

Going to give some brief thoughts on some of the mons on this team and the state of hyper offense in general.

Hyper Offense in its current state is a very plug-and-play archetype, very easy to pick up and can be incredibly consistent at a top level, imo :Ogerpon-wellspring:, :Zamazenta: and especially :Ceruledge: are super volatile on HO, being able to flip games on a dime and forcing the opponent to get every turn right if they don't have a good matchup.

:sv/ogerpon-wellspring:
This Trailblaze Synthesis set is super underrated, there were some games where I was 1v1ing :Raging Bolt: with proper prediction which should be a hardstop to standard non Play Rough variants of :Ogerpon-wellspring:, with how naturally bulky this mon is Synthesis was able to just super cheese some games. In this replay my opponent leads wrong into :Ogerpon-wellspring: and instantly loses the game, its super nuts sometimes.

:sv/zamazenta:
Unsurprisingly idbp :Zamazenta: is nutso. After enough Iron Defenses and with proper chip it can muscle past even some of its hardest checks like :Iron Valiant:, and imo the presence of Iron Defense :Zamazenta: makes fully physical :Iron Valiant: super bad. Don't really have much to say this guy's just obviously amazing and I was running a fairly standard set.

:sv/ceruledge:
The star of this climb, :Ceruledge: is disgustingly good. Whether it's Endure Weakness Policy or Z-Move this mon literally has like 3 walls (being :Tyranitar-mega:, :Dondozo: and to a lesser extent :Ting-Lu:, highkey when this guy figures out how to fit Close Combat on its set its over for everyone) you kind of need priority that isnt espeed or to just not load any physical attackers or you just get 12-0'd on preview. In this replay :Ceruledge: just like destroys literally everything and there was nothing they could do. :Ceruledge: also makes the :Ditto: matchup go from impossible to super free as shown in this replay. Side note but idk why every :Landorus-therian: on ladder likes clicking eq into my endure so much but i'm not complaining. Imo this mon is rlly low on the current VR and should be A- minimum but this isn't a nom post so i'll move on.

:sv/aron:
Obviously a joke pick :Glimmora: and :Landorus-therian: would definitely be way better in this role and wouldn't be hardwalled by :Gholdengo: and :Sableye-mega: but sometimes this guy does some funny stuff, like in this replay. my opponent wasn't playing optimally here but they kinda have to not be for Aron to get more than rocks and an endeavor off but here Aron gets about 50% chip on :Scizor-mega: and :Mandibuzz:, a toxic on :Mandibuzz:, Stealth Rock and brings :Slowbro: down to 1% to break the game open for :Zamazenta:, definitely respectable value and I caught a bunch of people off guard with this. I beat one guy twice and ig he got fed up cuz next time I fought him he switched Stone Edge on his :Tyranitar-mega: for Rock Blast.

This team does struggle vs. a lot, as is the nature of gimmicky squads like this. :Iron Valiant: is a really really bad matchup, no switchins, booster speed outspeeds everything and my prio can't kill it, if you use this squad be wary of :Iron Valiant: especially. Electric-types in general are kind of a rough matchup thanks to having no ground type, but it's manageable (unless its Choice Scarf :Raging Bolt: that guys satan into this). :Sableye-Mega: :Clodsire: :Dondozo: stall is an autolose matchup don't even try your opponent needs to super throw for you to win, I did get a win over this structure in this replay but my opponent was not playing optimally in the slightest. Choice Scarf :Tapu Lele: and :Diancie-mega: are also really annoying.
