That bulls game was disgusting.
Not because they lost, but how there were 10 blown calls by the refs.
The t-wolves are thriving off of their bribe money

I dont really like what the knicks are doing, there is no guaranteeing you'll get lebron, kobe, etc, and even if you get 2 good guys it doesnt mean you'll be the best, just look at teams like the past denver nuggests, mavs, and suns.

I don't think they're that far off from being a competitive team. They have a lot of depth, and all they really need is a couple of great players to go on top of it. It depends who they get, though.

yeah i saw during halftime of the mavs game. wallace had a collapsed lung and broken rib; ariza got a concussion. physical game o_o

nice mavs win today, though!

So we have all three of them, and we still lose to the 76ers. Again.
ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
At least T-mac played fairly decent for once.

Fucking Spurs...one of these days, we'll solve that problem. To think it was just simply the Mavericks before that, while we ran over the Lakers...

lol one day..

I wonder myself, im a Spurs fan, but I live in NY and have had no one present the team to me before the 99' finals, weirdness.

Celtics win again. I must say I think this team is going to repeat, all the pieces are in place for them to rip through the East. The Magic are hot, but as a young team they might not know how to keep it going. Besides, Dwight Howard is the only player on the Magic that concerns me, even if Jameer Nelson made the All-Star Game. The Cleveland Lebrons are just that, and we just beat the Pisons in their own building. The Lakers will plow through the West yet again, untested, and then play a real team and lose, again.

No I am not a front runner, I'm a long suffereing Timberwolves fan who had to sit through underachieving teams featuring Marko Jaric and Latrell Spreewell with Michael Owolokandi at center. I just wanted to see my favorite player win.

The winner will be whoever has homecourt advantage.
If the Cavs finish the season with a better record then the celtics, I've gotta think they're going to win that series, and if they have a better record then their finals opponent, I've gotta think they'll win that series too.

Homecourt advantage has been huge for the best teams this year.

Lets talk about the upcoming all star game. wjp do you think will win?
Im going for west which has some cool team combos: Kobe-Shaq, Duncan-Parker, Paul-West.

They still have Kandi Man? That guy looks like a bum from certain angles, even you must admit! Lebron does have some help, its just not consistent.

As is, Big Z is back tonight(against the clippers of all cursed teams), Mo Williams is a pretty good secondary guy, and then everyone passes to Lebron of course. Not saying they are great yet, just that Lebron has a wee bit more help than lets say... 2007. No matter how good the Magic are, I just dont see them, or any one else coming in the way of a Cleveland - Boston showdown.

There are a few teams that can at least harm the Lakers, particularly a self confident Suns team, a Spurs team clicking on all cylinders, or the Jazz with Carlos Boozer. As long as a team has a strong, physical front line, the Lakers can only fall back on Kobe and D-Fish. Bynum is a monster in progress, and Pau is pretty soft no matter how you look at it. Of course you never know how good Kobe really will be on any given night, he could win games for you with scoring or passing, then getting aggressive towards the end.

Basically:
East - Boston or Cleveland most likely.
West - The Lakers or Spurs imo.

It is a travesty that Steve Nash was not selected for the all star game. I mean, the game is even in Phoenix.

Thirded. I'm hoping one of the guards, especially Tony Parker, will get injured right before the ASG. FUCKING SPURS

As much as I dont like the Suns, Nash should be in it, but TP is having a great season. There are others who dont really need to be on the team. Brandon Roy comes off as one who shouldnt really be there. Although you guys do have two people in, Amare and Shaq(a given).

Most of the main teams have two players: Lakers, Spurs, Suns, and Hornets.

Also, most of the home court teams have at least two players, and you got it.

Nash is also having a bit of an off year, but Amare's numbers dont really justify him either. The same can be said for everyone in the damn starting lineup except for the guards.

Besides, China syndrome kicks in for unfair people along Yao(Steve Francis lol) and T-Mac even when others deserve it more. Even Yi Jianlian almost made it, so there is always something that can kick a player out of a game, fair or not.

But really, David West over Al Jefferson? C'mon now... damn even Rudy Gay people.

Steve Nash should not be in the All-Star Game whatsoever. All of his numbers are down because D'Antoni, probably the best offensive coach in the league left, and now the Suns go to what they really are: A mediocre team with mediocre players, even WITH Amare Stoudamire. Look at what D'Antoni does to a team. I live in the New York area, and know that the Knicks went from terribad last year to 1/2 a game out of the playoffs due to D'Antoni and his amazing offensive system. Unfortunently, the Knicks won't get out of the first round if they do make the playoffs as the 8 seed, but at least they will have gotten there.

The All-Star Game will be fun to watch as usual. I'm not sure who will win but I will know it'll be a fantastic game.

You know, im more in favor of watching the other parts of the ASWeekend than the game it self. 3 Point Shootout and the Dunk Contest should be pretty good this year.

lol what? Brandon Roy is having an incredible year, even better than when he was an All-Star last year. Not only that, look at where Portland is right now. They are tied for 4th in the West with New Orleans.

Carmelo and Deron would probably be there if it wasn't for their respective injuries. Al Jefferson should be there! I would have also liked to see Calderon in the East, but injuries and a struggling team hurt his chances. I'm glad Granger made it!

Poor Bynum =(
