DLE - Unfortunately, I cannot count your predictions this week because they came entirely too late. Missing the Thursday game I can understand, but you cannot miss the entire set of 1pm games on Sunday as well.

I am working on the results and new matchups right now, so stay tuned everyone!

EDIT: In the interest of avoiding a triple post, I have added my predictions here. Please note the date and time so I am not accused of cheating:

Miami vs Chicago - Thigpen ftw lol.
Minnesota vs Green Bay - Seriously Brett, just sit already.
Carolina vs Baltimore - As badly as I want the Panthers to beat the Ravens, that's about as likely as the Pirates winning a World Series.
NY Jets vs Houston - My gut is telling me Houston, but the Jets always seem to pull stuff out of their asses.
Tennessee vs Washington - Washington can rebound, and Randy Moss will act salty about only getting 1 catch last week.
Cincinnati vs Buffalo - Once again, as much as I want Buffaro to win, I just can't pick them here.
Jacksonville vs Cleveland - Jacksonville is giving me fits, but I think Cleveland will win this.
Pittsburgh vs Oakland - We always have trouble with Oakland, but we should pull this out. It will be maddeningly close though.
Dallas vs Detroit - Please don't tell me last week was a fluke, Dallas...
St. Louis vs Atlanta - Atlanta is not nearly as dominant away from home, but they should win this.
Kansas City vs Arizona - Arizona has let me down far too many times.
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay - SF is decent at home, but TB is just a better team.
New Orleans vs Seattle - Pretty sure I've been incorrect on every single Seattle game but one...
New England vs Indianapolis - New England won't get nearly as much pressure on Manning as they did on Big Ben.
Philadelphia vs NY Giants - Vick is unstoppable.
San Diego vs Denver - San Diego continues their perennial hot steak.

Well folks, Week 10 brought us the change we were looking for. In what ended up being a subpar week for pretty much everyone, the standings flipped around a bit. First off, we have a new contestant atop the leaderboard: Shinryu! After posting a league best 9-5 record this week, he has overtaken Stallion in first place. This is a precarious position to be sure, as the next three competitors (Stallion, Somebody, danmantincan) are only a game behind. This week's widespread prediction failure allowed for a couple of lucky contestants to make moves up the charts. The aforementioned Shinryu jumped five places to take first, and WaterBomb jumped five places to take 7th. Along with Fabbles, these three were the only contestants to post records above .500 this week. On another note, the once top ten Da Letter El has made a crucial mistake, missing his predictions this week and dropping near the bottom. Finally, Slyguy46 has shown his mortality and ended his streak of above .500 weeks.

Well, as this week has shown, no lead is safe. And like the NFL, any given Sunday can cause huge changes in the standings. Will Stallion regain his place atop the hill? Was Shinryu's quick ascent a fluke or a statement? Will Da Letter El and Fabbles be able to pull back into contention? Will Slyguy46 regain his consistency? Will I continue to inch closer to the lead? Will I ever stop asking questions?? See you again next week: Same bat time, same bat channel!

WEEK ELEVEN MATCHUPS ARE POSTED!

Miami vs Chicago
Minnesota vs Green Bay
Carolina vs Baltimore
NY Jets vs Houston
Tennessee vs Washington
Cincinnati vs Buffalo
Jacksonville vs Cleveland
Pittsburgh vs Oakland
Dallas vs Detroit
St. Louis vs Atlanta
Kansas City vs Arizona
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay
New Orleans vs Seattle
New England vs Indianapolis
Philadelphia vs NY Giants
San Diego vs Denver

Well, after this last week, I no longer have to worry about maintaining my streak, so I'm going to make a few bold predictions this week.

I still believe that Chicago is a powerful force in this league, and Miami on a third-string QB can't compete. GB will continue to shine while Minnesota continues to plummet. Carolina is one of the worst teams in the league, going up against one of the best. My Jets are toughing it out, we need a big game here to regain our momentum. I don't think Vince Young is back to 100%, so I'm going to take Washington at the moment, but this could change later.

BOLD PREDICTION #1: Buffalo wins another game this year, giving Cincy it's 7th straight loss. At the moment, my gut says Cleveland against Jacksonville is edging towards the Jags.

BOLD PREDICTION #2: (*read in best Chris Berman impression) DA RAIDERSSSSSS (/end Chris Berman impression) continue to dominate their opponents, starting with Pittsburgh, especially a Pittsburgh without Hines Ward. Dallas continues to give their new coach a few wins, and a Lions team without Stafford should be easy pickings, especially after beating the Giants. Atlanta has been so good the last couple weeks, even my confidence in this new Rams team at home can't pick against them. What everyone thought at the beginning of the season would be a game between two sub-par teams has become ... a game between two sub-par teams with ok records: KC wins against Arizona, but again, might change this. Tampa Bay continues to embarrass San Francisco, New Orleans continues to stay in the hunt against Seattle. For the infamous NE vs IND game, I have to say that the Patriots look like a much better team, with Brady more invested in this season than he has been for years; likewise, he has a good group of rookie receivers around him, while Indy has lost a lot of their receiving core. The Philadelphia Michael Vicks continue to dominate against a Giants team that has no excuse losing to Dallas. Finally, even with Denver's good week, the Chargers are still the Chargers, playing at home.

Well, lets hope these bold predictions don't bite me in the ass.

Wow, I'm still positive overall. Anyway:

Miami vs Chicago - No QB for Mia, even though Chi is overrated.
Minnesota vs Green Bay - Yeah
Carolina vs Baltimore - Yeah
NY Jets vs Houston - Jets have not been impressive, and Houston should be angry
Tennessee vs Washington - Depends on if Tenn gets a QB, but CJ should be good
Cincinnati vs Buffalo - Could go either way, but Cinci is at home, and at least Owens and Ochocinco can do stuff
Jacksonville vs Cleveland - We haven't seen Cleveland perform well on the road, so I'm going with the safe one here
Pittsburgh vs Oakland - Going out on a limb, but it seems that Pitt is pretty injured
Dallas vs Detroit Dallas seems to be on a role, and Det is on the road. Lol
St. Louis vs Atlanta - Yeah
Kansas City vs Arizona - Yeah
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay - Duh
New Orleans vs Seattle - Yeah
New England vs Indianapolis - NE seems to be less injured than Ind
Philadelphia vs NY Giants - Vick too strongth

San Diego vs Denver

Miami vs Chicago
Minnesota vs Green Bay
Carolina vs Baltimore - I'll cry if we lose.
NY Jets vs Houston - Wouldn't be surprised if Houston win, but they need to fix that defense.
Tennessee vs Washington
Cincinnati vs Buffalo - They'll stop the bleeding here.
Jacksonville vs Cleveland - The Browns have been very gritty against some good teams. They could revert back to their old ways against the most schizophrenic team in the NFL but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Pittsburgh vs Oakland - Big upset number 1
Dallas vs Detroit
St. Louis vs Atlanta
Kansas City vs Arizona - Fuck both these teams for ruining my predictions last week.
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay
New Orleans vs Seattle
New England vs Indianapolis - Tough. I can't see the Patriots secondary stopping Manning here.
Philadelphiavs NY Giants - As exciting as that win was against the Skins, I'm going for the upset here with the Giants pass rush exposing the poor Eagles offensive line.
San Diego vs Denver

Miami vs Chicago i like cutler
Minnesota vs Green Bay if a healthy favre lost to gb already i dont think an unhealthy one will beat them
Carolina vs Baltimore they might have lost to the falcons but not the panthers
NY Jets vs Houston idk jets seem to be doing good and houston is on a downward spiral
Tennessee vs Washington mcnabb sucks
Cincinnati vs Buffalo cincy might be doing bad but they arent THAT bad. yet.
Jacksonville vs Cleveland considering the teams the browns have beat this year, its hard to pick this game
Pittsburgh vs Oakland BIG BEN GETS BIG WINS OVER LITTLE OAKLAND
Dallas vs Detroit i guess dallas remembered how to play football?
St. Louis vs Atlanta rowdy roddy white
Kansas City vs Arizona idk who to pick so i just went with the home team
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay tampon bay has been doing pretty decent lately
New Orleans vs Seattle def not playing like the champions but i dont think they are bad enough to lose to seattle
New England vs Indianapolis i still never bet against peyton.
Philadelphia vs NY Giants vick is gonna run all over them like a dog after a bone. wait a minute....

San Diego vs Denver crazy pick right? denver always finishes 8-8 so they cant lose that many more games. gotta play the odds.

im going to get that ZJ adam, be prepared.

okay bombing in recent weeks. i'm going to start going with reasons since it seems to be working for the cool kids.

Miami vs Chicago - this is predicated upon them saying "fuck it" and running wildcat the entire game
Minnesota vs Green Bay - no more picking minnesota until they fire chilly
Carolina vs Baltimore - i'd normally call this a no brainer but who knows these days
NY Jets vs Houston - houston has to rally eventually right?
Tennessee vs Washington - i just see things bombing for washington. good call on the opt out clause.
Cincinnati vs Buffalo - i think this is the week team doctor's finally give carson palmer a pair of glasses so he can see his receivers better
Jacksonville vs Cleveland - i hate to think it but i think cleveland is actually kind of good. i can see them putting up a good record in the second half.
Pittsburgh vs Oakland - i don't like living in a world where oakland is a legitimate team so please prove their five wins were flukes
Dallas vs Detroit - maybe they've finally got a fire under their ass (a little too late except to play spoiler to the other nfc east teams). dez bryant is a beast.
St. Louis vs Atlanta - i noticed in the other thread every single one of you guys were pegging bradford as rookie of the year right? upset special only because i accidentally bolded it after looking at the below matchup and thinking this one said arizona instead of atlanta
Kansas City vs Arizona - i'm taking the under on 2.5 handshakes
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay - i like black smith because he throws to crabtree more than white smith did.
New Orleans vs Seattle - who is that?
New England vs Indianapolis - undrafted free agents will decide this contest
Philadelphia vs NY Giants - i got my popcorn ready for the michael vick show. it's a good message to send children that if you commit crimes all you have to do is be the most exciting football player in recent memory and people will forgive you.
San Diego vs Denver - typical chargers season

Miami vs Chicago Bye-bye Henne, hello bottom of the AFC East. At least they've got Buffalo for company...
Minnesota vs Green Bay Can Brett Favre get any worse?
Carolina vs Baltimore <facepalms again>
NY Jets vs Houston AJ is no match for LT and Co.
Tennessee vs Washington Duh.
Cincinnati vs Buffalo Speaking of Buffalo...
Jacksonville vs Cleveland Garrard is on a roll. Delhomme...is Delhomme. No-brainer.
Pittsburgh vs Oakland Yes, Ward is out, but they still have Big Ben and Lil' Mikey (Mike Wallace).
Dallas vs Detroit What, you thought I'd buy the Cowboys so soon?
St. Louis vs Atlanta A young secondary vs. a younger QB? Should be fun to watch.
Kansas City vs Arizona Seriously, when will be the next time the Chiefs lead the AFC West this far in the season? Maybe we should ask Stephen Hawking.
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay All in.
New Orleans vs Seattle They aren't dead yet, but it's seriously time to be looking into life insurance. Or maybe a casket.
New England vs Indianapolis This once-storied rivalry should be a blowout this season.
Philadelphia vs NY Giants I called it.
San Diego vs Denver Well, this just sucks.

Miami vs Chicago
Minnesota vs Green Bay
Carolina vs Baltimore
NY Jets vs Houston
Tennessee vs Washington
Cincinnati vs Buffalo
Jacksonville vs Cleveland
Pittsburgh vs Oakland
Dallas vs Detroit
St. Louis vs Atlanta Won't go against my boys at Home (:
Kansas City vs Arizona
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay
New Orleans vs Seattle
New England vs Indianapolis
Philadelphia vs NY Giants
San Diego vs Denver

May change these later.

Tennessee vs Washington
Cincinnati vs Buffalo

Pittsburgh vs Oakland
Dallas vs Detroit
St. Louis vs Atlanta
Kansas City vs Arizona
San Fransisco vs Tampa Bay
New Orleans vs Seattle
New England vs Indianapolis
Philadelphia vs NY Giants
San Diego vs Denver

Well the pressure is definitely on now to stay at #1 >.>

Miami vs Chicago - Unless Thigpen shows more life than he ever did with the Chiefs, Chicago will probably take this, Miami defense is tough for sure, but as long as the Bears' defense can limit Miami even more, they should be able to pull out a win.

Minnesota vs Green Bay - Packers coming off a bye week well rested, should be a win for them compared to how depleted Vikings are.

Carolina vs Baltimore - Lol Panthers, unless Ravens find a way to blow it, there's no way Panthers should even be a factor, especially if they end up starting Tony Pike.

NY Jets vs Houston - Revis and Cromartie sounds a lot more like a law firm than one of the best CB duos lol. Anyways should be a Jets win, Texans can't depend the pass at all, so even Sanchez should look good here.

Tennessee vs Washington - I like McNabb, but Redskin's defense is just non-existent really, Titans will likely blow them out of the water as well.

Cincinnati vs Buffalo - I know Bills has a good chance of beating the toothless Bengals, but I think Bengals will find a way to win this one.

Jacksonville vs Cleveland - Taking a risk here with the Browns, IF they continue to play the way they have been for the past 4 weeks, they will be able to win.

Pittsburgh vs Oakland - I hate betting against Oakland (half because I want them to pull out some crazy win), but Steelers have to start shaping up now if they want to keep pace with the Ravens.

Dallas vs Detroit - Dunno how much of an upset pick this might be, but even I'll bet on the Lions to beat the Cowboys at this point. Cowboys have yet to win a game at JerryWorld this year, so there's just as good of a chance the Lions break their 25 game away losing steak.

St. Louis vs Atlanta - Atlanta is definitely far better on paper, plus once again need Rams to lose so the Niners can come up in the standings.

Kansas City vs Arizona - Lol Cardinals, looks like it's back to the disappointment years with them...pretty soon, that stadium is gonna look pretty empty. Plus I'm sure Todd Haley is sufficiently motivated to beat his former team.

San Fransisco
vs Tampa Bay - Upset pick, T. Smith has me believing the Niners can dig themselves out of the hole. TB's defense isn't anything noteworthy, so as long as the Niners' defense doesn't buckle and T. Smith doesn't turn the ball over, it's possible to win.

New Orleans vs Seattle - Lol Seahawks...ok not really lol Seahawks, but they need to lose to make way for the Niners.

New England vs Indianapolis - I hate hard predictions like this, really dunno what's worse, a team rebuilding on the defense like the Patriots or one depleted by injuries like the Colts. Going with Colts simply because I hate Patriots/Brady.

Philadelphia vs NY Giants - Sticking with Eagles here, Vick is on fire, no matter how good the Giants' defense is, you can't guard 100% against Vick. Predicting Manning will probably misfire since they have a crop of receivers rotating about due to injuries.

San Diego vs Denver - I'm going to call that Denver win a fluke, there's no way they should be able to come close to matching that offensive output against the Chargers.

I'm really surprised seeing so many people pick the Colts. They, including Peyton, haven't looked so sharp for the past two weeks due to the amount of injuries. The only way they'll win is if the Patriots' defense has one of their "bad" games.

I think it's mostly because I never doubt Peyton Manning. The guy simply finds ways to win. Even if they haven't been playing sharp, the Colts are always a reasonable choice to win.

and I hate the patriots
