Lol there is a difference between a "good" gimmick (HBell Lopunny) and a bad gimmick (TrickPlot Tomb...come on really??)
Lmao you'd be surprised.

Yeah I forgot Rampardos doesn't get Rock Head (really GF? >_>). I used Stone Edge. It was a long time ago, give me a break. Rampy isn't all that slow either, as far as the lead position goes, since it's still going to outrun defensive Uxie and everything below, and probably 2hko them.

Sorry but I can see their reasoning here. That would be the ultimate insult to Aggron, outclassing Aggron in nearly everyway as a faster RP that can DEMOLISH teams. It would incredibly annoying to deal with too.
Aggrpm has the Steel typing and can take a hit, making it a much, much better Choice Bander than Rampardos could ever be. Its also gonna have a much easier time taking a priority hit and setting up. Plus it can be cool and run SubPunch, or SubRise and stuff. I think it might even be the other way around; Aggron would out class Rampardos.
Is it me, or has Rain teams taken a massive decline in these few days?? I'm seeing nowhere near as many these days, and just a week or two ago they were everywhere. It looks like the metagame finally adapted to Rain, and people can longer score easy wins by playing Rain, so they go back to tried and true teams like Froslass/Moltres/Swellow/3 Fillers.
Agreeing with whistle. I still use rain occasionally (I was using it to teach someone the basics of rain teams the other day) but it's just so goddamn boring. It's much more fun to troll the ladder with Jynx.
personally I don't think I could bring myself to playing rain right now, since for me that's very much a strategy that maximizes winning at the cost of lowering how fun it is to play. I don't even think teams right now are especially adapted to it... it just seems like not many people want to use it.
Yeah, I'm noticing how rain's popularity has diminished lately, which has given me some leeway to experiment with other ideas. I'm still milking Froslass for all she's worth, but everything else is up for debate. Mixed Sceptile has been an absolute god, and runs through teams like madness. Of course, this is with Spikes support, but Froslass makes it so damn easy that hitting 2-3 layers every match is no problem (whether or not I can get three is usually a coin flip). Every sweeper in UU is broken with auto-Spikes lol.
I think I'll do a team around Pinsir next...I've always liked that stag beetle.
