Still thinking about trading McCann for Wainwright (with some smaller pieces to balance rosters) moi? I'm definitely considering it!

Edit: I hate rotisserie. I punted a category thinking that this was roto, but I hate how later in this season waiver wire additions have nowhere near the same impact as they would in H2H.

And the one major thing is that while it may lesson some of the effect of waiver, it also greatly removes bullshit luck too..
 
i had things to do towards the end of the draft and autodraft saw fit to draft a ton of relief pitching for me in lieu of starters. does anybody want one of those guys?
 
My stupid ass sister had to do a fucking video project for spanish and I got kicked off the computer at literally 30 minutes before 8:15. As a result, I'm not only pissed, but I'm plannning to make up with it through some trades. And by some, I mean a shit load.

Your autodraft got to relievers before I could haha so I'd consider it for a low end starter.

@ moi - just waiting for a few waiver requests to go through before I pull the trigger on any potential trades!

Honestly, anything other than what I have. My autodraft decided to draft for me 3 quality 3rd basemen and 2 All Star second basemen and 2 every good short stops. My starting pitching is servicable for my needs. Everywhere else, I was served a pile of dog shit. I literally have no speed or average and way too many home run guys.

What I would really like would be a quality SB outfielder like Jacoby Ellsbury or Michael Bourn. A catcher would also be fantastic, as I'm not too keen on Russell Martin. I'm also looking for a good short stop to back up (or to take over for if I trade him) Jimmy Rollins.

So, yeah. To answer your question again, I'm looking for pretty much everything. If I knew the name of your team, I could give you a more specific answer to my question. The only "untouchable" guys right now on my roster are Cano and Konerko, so I'm sure I can get some deals made if anyone wants to make them.

Also, may I ask why you have Victor Martinez and Vlad Guererro on your roster when the former is out with injury until late Septemer and the later has not signed a deal with a big league club? Seems kind of weird to me, but maybe you have some crazy reason for doing it. Or maybe I'm being dumb for telling you...

So today was basically extension day, both Cain and Votto getting huge extensions. I think it's going to be interesting for the Giants once Lincecum's contract is over and they have to sign him. He's definitely going to want at least what Cain got.

I think both teams overpaid a bit but that's what you have to do today to keep your top talent.

Heard on MLB Network that 49 y/o Jamie Moyer won the Rockies number 2 pitching job.

In other news, experts now state that if Jamie Moyer is their number two, the Rockies are now expected to win no more than 17 games in the NL West.
 
Dad is currently in Texas with my sister at the moment (she's a gun soccer player so she's there for a tournament) and I just found out that he bought me a full Texas Rangers uniform - complete with Yu Darvish jersey! This has just made my week! Photos will be posted in this thread as soon as he comes back home ;)

That's what I was worried about haha. I woulda got the jersey of one of our bats but I don't think any are locked up as long as Darvish and he has star potential. Not to mention I'm a pitching man (look how much i paid for Kershaw in fantasy) so hopefully ill be wearing it proudly for years lol.
 
Sorry for the double post but with Farnsworth's injury, I'm kind of in a need of saves. If anyone has a secure closer they wish to trade (looking at you aamto) for a Jhoulys Chacin type starting pitcher I'd do that deal in a heartbeat! I can't exactly punt saves in Roto like I usually would with a team like the one I have -_-
