Hey Diesel, if I was to use 3/6 of my Pokemon and they were shiny, would the Nintendo Staff consider them hacked as they might not know about the RNG and stuff?
I was thinking about that and I am not going past two. I was originally planning on using one, but I completely screwed something up and no have to use two.
The hack checking is done by machine. If the Pokemon are legit, there won't be any problems. Having lots of shiny Pokemon shouldn't be an issue. They should know that it isn't too difficult to get 6 or more shiny Pokemon through Wi-Fi trading.
Yeah, I trust the people I got them from. I will be running them through PBR just to make sure that everything is fine though.
So I know all the people who are going to SFO tomorrow are either sleeping soundly right now or up training and battling like mad men before the big day. Hehe, good luck to all of you!
I'll be in attendance at the Nashville tourney. I'm driving 8 hours from Virginia, so I'm really hoping I'll get picked. I'm 25 now, but I competed in what had to have been one of the first Nintendo-sponsored Pokemon VGC's when I was 15 (it was so long ago we still had toaster Gameboys and link cables O.o). Pokemon's been there for me throughout my adult life, and I love it, so much so that I have a Pokeball tattooed on my right wrist.
Anyway, who all is going to Nashville? I finally finished my team yesterday, and I'm looking for others who will be there who'd want to do some wifi battles (ya know, so I can peep the competition.) I heard there's already like 10 people just from Smogon showing up there. I guess add me to the list.

Ahh I completely forgot about this. Can you explain how this works exactly? At what point does PBR "Tell you" that your Pokes are hacked?
Essesntially PBR connects to your DS and makes "a copy" of you party pokemon and your boxes. When you register your team from your DS to PBR, any hacked Pokemon will show up on the Wii as bad eggs, and you can't pick them for battle.

However, only Pokémon with illegal EVs (and maybe catch location) actually show up as bad eggs. Try entering them into a random Wi-Fi battle; the hack check on Nintendo's Wi-Fi server is more reliable (won't let you use illegal moves etc). However, I can't guarantee that the Wi-Fi check is the same as the check at the tournament; the one at the tournament will probably be more advanced.
Just finished my team and got my Pal Pad. In the morning I will transfer them over and get everything ready!

After pulling an all-nighter to get a team together, I am sad to say that my friend decided not to go and I just got off the phone with him. Because he isn't going, I don't have a ride and now I can't go.
That's really bad. It seems your work was wasted. Well, you can wait for WCS 2010. The ironic thing was that The Fish King got his job laid off just now, and he cannot attend Fremont, Phoenix, or
Arlington.

i so excited to see the winners, i woke up extra late becuase san fran is 3 hours away in time difference. what time do u think they will get videos regarding the finals?
