It's yet another time to discuss Doubles Mashups!
Stored Power
After Cresselia got banned in AAA Doubles, reactions have been mixed. One side believes Cresselia deserved to be banned but others do not think it's the case. Necrozma and Mew can be just as unforgiving when they get the chance to set up with the help of abilities such as Magic Bounce or Dauntless Shield, it's just that Cresselia's better bulk gives it more opportunity to do so. Therefore, I think Stored Power might be the biggest culprit. If Stored Power ends up banned, then I plan to free Cresselia. However, I don't think we have enough evidence for it yet, so it's all just theoretically.
Though admittedly, I did not handle the best in regards to Cresselia's suspect test and my computer broke down after an update. So I will keep my previous mistakes in mind on the next suspect test. Now for what's potentially next...
Zygarde
Many seem to have considered Zygarde to be potentially broken in AAA Doubles. I'm not going to spend too much time on it just yet so I will give an abridged version; Zygarde greatly benefits from other abilities such as Poison Heal and Adaptability with Thousand Arrows that can hit Flying-types and Levitate, which can also hit multiple foes.
As for my opinion, I don't agree that Zygarde is banworthy for now. Rillaboom can act as a good check to it. Dauntless Shield and Intimidate are also a good way to prevent Zygarde from wreaking havoc. Misty Surge seems like a good way to stop its Poison Heal set in theory, but it never seems to be the case. With that said, I will still plan to suspect tests in the future.
Rillaboom
It comes as no surprise that Rillaboom is one of the best Pokemon in STABmons Doubles. It's the only Fake Out pivot with the ability to spread Sleep through Sleep Powder with the most reliability possible, giving its partner plenty of momentum to work around. Before DLC 2, the best way to check Rillaboom is slapping with Safety Goggles. Now with the release of Tapu Koko and Tapu Fini, Rillaboom actually benefited from it as it means Safety Goggles usage went down and has the ability to override Electric and Misty Terrain. While Tapu Bulu lacks the utility Rillaboom provided and saw little to no usage whereas Kartana just struggles to fit Sleep Powder with its moveslots and can't override terrains (Unless you're crazy enough to run Steel Roller which I won't stop you lol).
Therefore, I plan on suspect testing Rillaboom after Zygarde's AAA Doubles Suspect Test has concluded if there's no disagreement about the former.
If there's anything that I miss, let me know.
