^Electronic Entertainment Expo. Basically the happening of the year in the gaming world... at least it was, a few years ago. Then it went bad, and now they've tried to fix it again, and some people think it's better, and... yeah, that is a mighty source of Internet arguments.
Either way, Nintendo has a habit of releasing information about a ton of games during their E3 conference (or, as they did last year, through a Nintendo Direct). Last year we got a LOT of X/Y information (compared to what we had known previously), such as confirmation of the Fairy type, a lot of Pokémon, and Sky Battles.
