I know common sense KINDA dictates ghost mons are undead, but do zombies really make sense for a sorta kid genre? I'm pretty sure you can find stuff to support either side, but if they are NOT undead, what makes them ghosts? It also begs questions like what coulda possibly killed so many, and why are they their own things not "undead" versions of reg stuff
...idk I'm bored

The lore is inconsistent sometimes but I think you just need to believe in the fact that there are just supernatural spirits out there.
