Funny story about that actually, part of the reason I changed my name was because people didn't get it originally. The thing was I named it after the Criminal Minds character, and had him as my avatar for quite some time, and still I was constantly asked if I was named after some character from Seinfeld or Friends or something like that. Personally I had never even seen a character by that name in those shows and eventually I just confused even myself.
In any case, now I get constantly asked if I'm still with Kim Kardashian or whatever and so that's why I just wanted to say Ray Jay =/= Ray J.
Badal is my first name.
When I was in 5th grade, I got invited to make a GMail account. So at that point, I was obsessed with football, I chose 'badalcristiano'. Slowly, that name grew to be my online-name everywhere. Until a few weeks ago, I was badalcristiano; at which point I decided to drop the 'cristiano' and keep it simple, with Badal.

Ok it's time for me to explain. Back in the day I was a huge advance wars junkie, this the "co" preceding my name. This was originally for my screen name, so I epically failed trying to create it 6 times (comatthew to comatthew5) so the seventh time stuck and I kept comatthew6. I've used that username for like everything ever since.

Went to the Intrepid Museum, and there were jet fighters there, read something about an afterburner, on those little boards under the jets with writing underneath. Same day I happened to make a gmail account, decided to call it afterburn. The name stuck, and I used it as my screen name on anything internet related. Used to be called The LegendKiller on Smogon, and got it changed to afterburn, because I'm not a fan of wrestling anymore, and afterburn is my name everywhere else on the internet. (and sounds better)
Out of respect for my old username, I guess i'll explain why I chose it.
I initial made a few PK related usernames for Smogon, but I never got my activation emails so I gave up. Eventually I got an email account that wasn't shit so I decided to honour the occasion and use my favorite thing ever. At the time, Earthbound was my favorite game and I was obsessed with it. In Earthbound, you get to name your signature technique (fucking awesome concept) and I named mine gaming. PK Gaming! I smashed many enemies and bosses with that technique. The english version is technically "PSI Gaming" but thats lame.
So yeah thats the story.

BeeN thinking about it for a while but I changed my name (previously kingcharizard) Because I think the prime minister is a person of power and responsibility, and they really have all the power as opposed to the king.
My name is correlated from "Fawful" from the Mario and Luigi Series (Bowser's Inside Story to be more specific) because he was constantly saying "I HAVE CHORTLES!" and he has made me laugh more than any other video game character, therefore making him my favorite.

okay so in high school my friends and i started a 'gang' which was really just a 'krew' which was really just my group of friends and i being teenage jackasses. we started skateboarding and drinking, we tagged shit up and smoked tobacco out of water pipes because mj was really hard to get a hold of where we lived. some of my friends stole a car and did some jail time. anyway there was this guy in our Krew named jeff. one night we told him we would give him $5 to drink milk from an ashtray, ash and all. well, jeff did it, and that brave soul was from then on known as dirty jeff. RIP buddy. my username is dedicated to you man. not a day goes by i don't remember dirty jeff.

fun story with mine. i used to be good friends on shoddy battle with Gen. Empoleon back in...god, 2008...anyway, i went by a couple of things back then, but mainly Leaderboarder. I am pretty sure that i had a main nickname but I can't for the life of me think of it. i had a couple of alts, the main one that i remember is I Are Win. this was back when DPP UU was popular and i was still quite good at it (i distinctly remember being at like 1650 with a team that used manectric, swellow, and lo agility moltres...)
but anyway, i got a random pm one day from some guy with a name with houndoom in it (it was genny), and he said "check out this badass new username". me, thinking i was going to be funny, went to register the ACTUAL name Bad Ass. i did and it just kind of stuck.

I thought Zog was a cool name for the pet cockroach I got when I was 12. Completely made up, and I just thought it sounded fun. Zog was such a bro, he'd just chill all day with his roommates Fred the millipede and Coco the slug.
I'd sit with him on the computer and stuff, and make lego playgyms for him to test his skills on. A few of you are wondering where I got the name JT Swift, so I'll tell ya. It's kinda silly though.
J and T are the initials of my first and middle name. As for the Swift part, back when I first registered, a few of my friends had pointed out how quickly I walk when in public, and that I'm hard to keep up with, especially in crowds. Taylor Swift was all over the place, and there was a guy named Swift in a book I was reading. The word just kept appearing everywhere, and I kinda liked it as a name.
I liked to think of the name JT Swift as an extension of myself, my name, and ... well, just me really. It's a shame that it now carries such negative connotations.

Rather simple really. In high school, there were 5 kids named Alex in the band, so we all got together and decided on nicknames for each of us. I was dubbed Bob. That combined with the fact that I have worn nothing but converse shoes for the last 10 years and you can see where the name comes from.
