All Pokemon have adaptability intrinsically along with its original ability and all Pokemon become single typed. Pokemon with secondary typings choose what type they keep based on Shiny or Non-Shiny form and the Pokemon resists the type that it loses.
The typing of the move in slot 1 can be changed by changing hidden power type to the desired type. For instance, if your hidden power value is set to Ice the first move will be Ice type.
The first three slots and last three slots in a team are separate "halves." Right before the match, one half is randomly selected. The Pokemon in that half become a part of your opponent's team, and vice versa.
All Pokemon get an -Ate ability intrinsically along with its regular ability. If non shiny, the -Ate ability will turn normal type moves into the primary type of the Pokemon. If shiny, the -Ate ability will turn normal type moves to the secondary type of the Pokemon.
Standard STABmons set in Ubers with new changes like base forms being able to transfer moves to their alternate forms and mega evolutions, transferring moves from types they had in an old gen and unreleased moves being usable.
