Right now, we're looking out for Rain/Sun- both of which Genesect do, just eh against. It does well, but it really can't take a hit, and what we're looking for right now is a pokemon that can tank and hit and reply back hard in both opposing weathers, something Genesect can not do. It's not just about revenging- finding proper momentum without trashing half our team is what we want right now. Genesect really only adds to our weakness of Keldeo, Venasaur, and most other Sun sweepers.
As for my Dragonite set, my aim was for it to be a tank- not necessarily a sweeper, and for it to rely on Extremespeed to hit faster foes. If you guys think more speed is needed, I could fix it, but it'll have to be exchanged for a lot of bulk, which I don't think is a good idea to remove or else it won't be able to counter Rain as well as it does now. Roost allows it to recover, and recycle Multiscale. Because of its defenses, I did not see a need for extra speed, so I put the rest into power.
