It always irked me that drain moves capped out at Giga Drain's 60 power and 5 pp.A move with 80+ Base Power that drains HP would help as well. I think it could work well as a Poison move since Poison is a type that I could see getting a draining move and it doesn't already have one. Poison's terrible type coverage would keep it balanced as well.
Oh, huh, I guess my Ruby run is throwing me off.I think the next prefix would be Terra and Mega Drain and Giga Drain already have 15 and 10 PP, respectively. They really need to bump Drain Punch up to 10, though.
defense should get boost in an anti-life orb.
"All moves lose 25% of their power in exchange for 10% HP recovery per turn"
Can you see EVIL BLISSEY OF DEATH?
First I've heard of this.About those starters base stats rumors:
I remember someone from Japan confirming that Pokabu's evolution was Fire/Ground. This guy saw it in the demo.
The ONLY person to confirm this Fire/Ground thingy was a friend of someone who posted on the now-deleted thread. However, the demo is yet to be released to the public (the photos we had of Hatoopoo were from the demo, but apparently it was a closed presentation), so I guess we can say it's a fake by now.

Or the HP boosting natures would balance out all the boosts offense got. Seriously, Choice Specs, Expert Belt, Plates, the type items getting a boost, Stealth Rock, and new and improved moves like Close Combat and boosted Outrage.
Defense got practically nothing - rock types got a SpD boost, that's it. HP natures wouldn't be so bad in light of this.
In all fairness, I recall that same source giving out the photos saying the Pokedex in the demo had the starterevolutions in it.
Of course, they didn't remember anything about them, though. Which really makes me want to call bullshit.
I wouldn't doubt Pokabu would become Fire/Ground anyway.
Who exactly would you use an HP boosting nature on, and expect to see positive results? Wouldn't it just be better to max out the HP and locate evs in the necessary defense/s? We might see combination natures though that boost two stats at once by 5% and lower two others by 10% or something. Although, that idea sounds bad too.
Having increased HP from an HP boosting nature would virtually be like having a nature that boosts both defenses simultaneously, from my understanding. Why would you boost one defense or the other when you can just boost HP to benefit both equally?
Lol no, you're getting it backwards. Shuckle should max out its HP exactly because it's so low. 63 out of 244 is roughly a quarter, that's a lot.
Alright, I've got to call you out on this one. This is completely wrong. Apparently, no one understands how damage works and how natures affect this. Here's an example I just calculated:On a pokemon like Shuckle, where you invest in all of your defenses to take hits, it would be silly to boost your HP with a % because your base HP is so low (base 20 versus base 200 is a LOT).
On Blissey, you would DEFINITELY use a +HP nature because you get 10% of base 255, which is ridiculous, then invest 252 in defense and sp. def.
If your defenses are balanced, you would put the + nature in HP of course because it wouldn't really matter.
If you have a recovery move like Leech Seed or Pain Split, though, you are probably better off putting only points into defenses so that you get the full benefit of the extra recovery.
