I don't like the latest rumors. I guess Grass/Ground makes sense but it's not only a repeat but totally unexpected. The stats are odd, too, though I guess if it got the support moves so typical of Grass types then it could be a good tank.
Mijumaru's stats are alright, nothing to write home about though. Seems to me like a Water/Fighting Swampert, with much lower defense in exchange for a specially defensive focus.
Pokabu's final evo is not cool. Fire/Ground > Fire/Dark, which would have allow it to at least come in and fire off CB Earthquakes and such, but I'm not sure that it'll be able to do this if it is indeed Fire/Dark. If these are true, Gen III starters remain my favorite.
Speaking of rumors, I was just thinking about the new natures rumor posted a while back. Though some people might disagree, I think that HP natures would be a genuinely welcome addition. Think about it, a 10% boost to overall defensiveness is exactly what we need. Gen IV gave offense cool new toys in the form of Expert Belt, Choice Specs, Life Orb, and, most importantly, Stealth Rock. Defense got nothing in return except the typical leftovers. Buffing both defenses would help against most attackers, especially mixed sweepers. For example:
240+ MixMence Draco Meteor vs. 252/0 Neutral Swampert: 69.31% - 81.93%
240+ MixMence Draco Meteor vs. 252/0 +HP Swampert: 63.06% - 74.55%
The difference is huge - pokemon like MixMence/Ape wouldn't be such an issue with things like +HP Milotic or Suicune.
And of course there are those pokemon that often carry a single attack to bypass certain threats - Fire Blast Flygon for Skarm, Ice Beam Tyranitar, etc. Such a nature would help bring things into more of a balance, IMO.
