Gigantamax Meowth and Gigantamax Pikachu are now available for order (delivery starting early October) for a mere ¥33,000 and ¥44,000 (tax included) respectively.

Gigantamax Meowth stands at 165cm and weighs 3,050g.

Gigantamax Pikachu stands at 80cm but weighs 4,360g.

The thing is the clouds are part of the Gigantamax design. With Dynamax Pokemon the clouds are always above their head, but with Gigantamax they do sometimes place them on different spots around the Pokemon.

• G-Meowth is a good example, the clouds are around its chest just under its arms.
• However this G-Pikachu is bad. Pikachu's tail needs to be sticking up into the air because the clouds are supposed to be circling around it more than above Pikachu's head. You can sort of see this from the other angles:
  
  
  

Which is strange, because in addition to these LARGE Gigantamax plush they also released 6 smaller ones: Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, Charizard, Corviknight & Alcremie. Now all of them also have the clouds but they look much better placed:

How much bigger are the big ones to their smaller counterparts, they luckily included a comparison picture:

Are not strong enough for something that large. Sure, you could use stronger wire, but wire in general isn't very cuddly and comes with additional safety hazards. You'd practically have to make the entire tail out of something solid to support the weight of it and the clouds.

And if you really hate the clouds, you could always just cut them off.

Yeah, it just doesn't translate that well for a plush.

I think things with very narrow necks just don't translate to plush very well. This one has a clear defined pencil thin neck which just doesn't hold up to gravity. They have to shorten the neck and make it fat just so the head doesn't flop to the side when standing up. The head shape also doesn't seem to fare well in the transition too, the plush fabric and stuffing just can't replicate very well the curvature and tapering of the head.

But just because its design doesn't translate well to plush doesn't mean it's an inherently bad design! I like Inteleon's look a lot! I actually do want to own the plush of this, which isn't available in Pokemon Center yet, at least of the time of this post, and I like Inteleon's look more than Drizzile.

The other two do look fantastic in plush format though!

Finally, one of my wishes is to have plushies of the fossil bastardizations. I don't know if they're popular enough to have plushies, as it's not common for them to have plushies, but I'll be so happy to have my other Pokemon ride Dracozolt for fun!

Somehow I completely missed this 1.1-metre-long Pikachu tail plush for just ¥8,658. Orders will only be accepted for another 2 days and 6 hours here.

Other merch I found interesting (nothing on the English site which suddenly got a lot of clothing merch).

First, remember those Terrarium displays? Well apparently they're not up to collection EIGHT! Not only that, they've made a second set of the special Alolan Terrariums and they've also done a special Four Season edition, and this Pocket Botanical.

I really like this idea, they should do more released products based on clothes or object notable Trainers have in the game (maybe even so some for Trainer Classes). I'm not shocked to see Ingo & Emmet because i was on the ground floor of gen 5 and that meant I saw the baffling number of japanese popularity polls where the subway brothers kept entering the top 5 men and top 10 over all. I also got to see the frankly absurd number of niconico videos based around the two of them.
