Pokemon Shuffle General Discussion

It's very often that the tool tips are half-truths more than being outright lies. For example, the Scizor/Heracross example isn't wrong since you can bring both and still fit the Disrupted Volbeat/Purrloin, or the Uxie stage where Gengar is a SE Mega and there are SE Block Smash+ users. Usually it is good to check a bit before running if you're not sure on your strength, but some long time players have the raw power mons to push out a clear with other stuff and then optimize afterwards.

Were Purrloin and Volbeat Disruptions or part of the regular/skyfall mons?
Volbeat is part of the preset disruptions while purrloin is a 5th support.

I miss those 6+ stage skips, wish they'd have that for 200 EBs as well. I only just got to stage 100 for Darkrai, haven't started grinding out Uxie and Cresselia yet.

UPDATE: Finished EB, was lucky to have a +5 at stage 194 so I didn't have to grind all those stages. Two almost-full item runs (no DD) for 175 and 200, and my bank is almost empty. Was gonna try S-rank those normal stages but that'll have to wait until I get more coins... Tentacool and Tentacruel are definitely sucking me dry.

I hit 99,999 coins back to back days because of that. Still, it was fun. Also grabbed Winking Manaphy already so I'm just playing Darkrai till I feel like doing something else.

Coins let me finish Darkrai early, now need to grind coins and hope for another Slow week. I need to get started on the new stages already, and I haven't even S-Ranked all the prior ones.

I ran into Winking Manaphy once on Tuesday but didn't have enough coins for Great Balls (stupid decision on my behalf to play the Safari knowing that tbh) and haven't run into it since :(

another week off. The Pikachu ran off but they should come easily enough. Chesnaught wasn't too bad. Dialga was doable but Palkia was too much a pain for too high a cost.

I only grinded for the skill swapper this escalation battle really sucks overall, also still haven't tested my luck at the competition, will try it first on 3ds then on mobile

Managed to finish 4th in the Mega Garchomp competition in Europe 3DS with 98,017 using Aggron/Keldeo/Wailord/Winking Manaphy. Set the score in the first hour of the competition and expected to fall out by Wednesday, held P1 for two days, then P2 until the final day, before slipping two more positions in the final hours. Pretty thrilled to finish Top 5 in a competition for the first time.

As for the EB, I stopped at 200 with 18,800 coins spent total and am not returning. The back end of the EB is a serial coin trap with four boss stages with blocks as forced support and the regular stages get brutal towards the end. Not worth spending the rest of this week hoping for good Meowth RNG, especially with not great timed skills.

Absol finally getting RML's is cool, gives Darks a decent Mega for disruption heavy stages.

What's with the EB spam? Too much coinage. Least Keldeo's easier for me than timed SP stages. Hope it's not loaded with excessive boss stages like Giratina gained 3-4, last 10 stages needed items, and later ones buffed to need four Full Items.
