Forgot to take a screenshot but I just had a Barbaracle set with Shell Smash, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, and Liquidation. Not exactly sure why sr is on a smasher, can it be made so shell smash cannot be paired with sr and instead replace it with coverage like eq or cross chop.

sr gets stuck really often on barbaracle and it's... not as bad as one might imagine because you don't always have the luxury of a mon with SR so it kind of does either or depending on team, but it's probably not for the best
focus sash leads shouldn't show up on pokemon with defense raising moves; it makes theoretically useful dunsparce (for example) objectively bad when it spawns with coil + no roost

Well it's the only ability it can legally have, so...
I wouldn't say it's bad at all - in fact, scarf volt switch is pretty good in general. Maybe just not ideal since you can't use a STAB while benefitting from beast boost.
Encountered this set today. I don't see any point in having shift gear + calm mind in there. Maybe it could be replaced with a coverage move like ice beam or something.

I got this Venusaur, I think it should at least have clorophyll, I don't see any use for sunny day and heat rock with this set.

It gets stuck because there's nothing left to roll as everything else has been rejected. One solution is removing either move from the movepool so it can never roll both. However, I have a more complex solution in mind that will hopefully tackle all types of stuck cases.
Singles change leaked into doubles, will fix.
It's a fine set. You can trick your opponent into thinking you're a special Infernape... and then boom, surprise them with your physical moves!
