Applin can be caught at Route 5. YES!
Applin only learns Withdraw and Astonish until it evolves via item, according to the leaker. RIP

Polteageist is broken :^)

Behold:

Teatime
Strength Sap
Astonish
Withdraw
Aromatic Mist
Mega Drain
Protect
Sucker Punch
Aromatherapy
Giga Drain
Nasty Plot
Shadow Ball
Memento
Shell Smash

I'm glad Cursola got a recovery move. Kinda saves it for me. But just how effective is Strength Sap? I never ran any pokemon that used it, since its distribution was always not great. Anyone in here got any insights on that?

I've had quite a bit of fun with it on Jumpluff and Shiinotic. It's terrifying under the right circumstances.

It's pretty common in OMs like STABmons for low HP mons like Rotom and Ferrothorn. The recovery amount is generally pretty big, and the debuff is nice to win matchups.

for your pursuit memes I guess

Thanks to the both of you. Seems like Cursola sounds pretty decent as a dedicated special tank/nuke? Polteageist seems like stiff competition, though.

Leaker is done for today, and he doesn't know if he'll be back as there's not much left to leak really. He says if he finds something interesting, he'll post about it.

Hope everyone enjoyed this!

+2 252 SpA Mismagius Stored Power (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 352-416 (115.7 - 136.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Mismagius Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 232+ SpD Ferrothorn: 356-420 (101.1 - 119.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Mismagius Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Bisharp: 360-424 (132.8 - 156.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Mismagius Stored Power (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 176 SpD Hippowdon: 330-389 (78.5 - 92.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Mismagius -> Polteageist.

The tea has bad phys def, but it's special is good enough it could set up on special attackers. Could be useful, but Sucker Punch and other priority will be common in the early meta, which will put a cap on it's sweeping potential. But that's what Baton Pass is for, hey?

I like that we got a pokemon based off mischief spirits, and the entirety of its moveset is built around trolling everyone.

That said, a low speed low defense knock off weak Pokemon isn't going to be relying on Shell Smash to suddenly be considered high tier. It may have a great movepool but its stats, ability, and typing are going to put Polteageist in a low spot.

would it affect it the way you want though? Variable power moves aren't exactly affected by Z-moves that way are they?
