Indeed, last year everybody was using clones of the same Metagross, so I'm sure it'll be hard to detect.

IN other news, the "Sit around and hope it turns up" method hasn't worked, so if all fails I will be buying another copy of SS just so I can participate in VGC. I'm being serious, I am going to this competition if it kills me.
 
i'm one of those pros right? anyone that wants the title of sf regional champion is gonna have to pry it from my cold dead hands. defense!
 
Put me in for Newark. I'm so glad that the lottery is gone. And im only like 30minutes away from there. Now it's time to actually start making a team. I'm trying to convince some of my friends who play pokemon to come and try it out. They know the basics on battling and one of them competed in showdown 2k8. Can't wait to see everyone there june 12!

I'll be at the Newark stop. So glad they got rid of the lottery since I was like #80 in line last year in Philly and didn't get in.

Over 200? Philly had somewhere in the ballpark of 900 iirc last year, and only 128 got in.

Yeah. If that happens I will go to Indy to get another shot. You should be fine though. How many smogon players are going? 20, 30 tops? How many participants? Over 500 (I think)?
