When do we find out where the tournaments will be?

So, what's everyone planning on running this year?
Last year was completely and totally overrun by Trick Room, but with Kyogre legal I expect lots of Rain teams to pop up.

You get both, the significant exclusive pokemon are Groudon/Latias for SS and Kyogre/Latias for HG.I only faced 1 TR team at Nats and saw one at Worlds 09 (Sadman). The TR team swept me at Nats (cuz I wasn't prepared at the time), and Sadman's did (unfortunately) very, very poorly.
I honestly expect to see a crap ton of Groudon/Lugia (or Mewtwo) combos, in all actuality though, because Soul Silver seems to be the more popular version (who wants a crappy "rainbow turkey" when you can have a SWEET DRAGON BIRD THING!!)
I haven't put a ton of thought into it, but something like:I'm running a goodstuffs team with rayquaza and some exploders. I've noticed that if your opponet can't resd your explosion you win. Anyone have a good Ho-oh set?

Yes, yes, lots of Rain... But I don't think Trick Room will be popular at all this year due to Ubers largely missing out on the best of the effect and being able to murder Dusclops with the right sets.
I think that both TR and Rain Dance will be popular, but the dominating one isn't quite so sure..It just depends on the player(s) using it.
TR rain is actually quite popular lol. They go well together.
Trick Room Rain? Now that's certainly odd, especially since one of Rain's best points is Swift Swim. I don't think that would work well with Kyogre since Dusknoir would be unprotected. Of course that would leave the opponent vulnerable to Kyogre's Water Spout, but taking advantage of the turn it takes to set up the Trick Room, and opponent could weaken Kyogre enough that it can't really do anything, and then the whole team misses out on what could have been its best pokemon.TR rain is actually quite popular lol. Whatever people are using, this VGC is going to be a wreck. It's a giant game of rock-paper-scissors if you ask me. Dusknoir doesn't look like he'll be very popular, but what about Smeargle? It looks to me like people are ditching Smiggy for pokemon that contribute more to the team.
I have a Scarf Smeargle that has all the moves but I never got around to actually training it because of how much of a pain in the ass it would be.Sash Smeargle is little more than a minor annoyance. Scarf Void Smeargle, on the other hand, is a HUGE pain in the ass, unless you have your own faster Scarfer (like Kyogre.) However, I'm not really a fan of Choice items in the VGC, especially this year. With Dialga and Palkia running around and resisting practically everything, being locked into Water Spout is a VERY bad idea.
