Maybe the next gen won't all look like shit. Not that the starters were a good warning last time though...
Guys, do we honestly need 3 threads to discuss these games? I mean I'm just as excited as the next guy, if not more, but 3 threads full of Froakie fanboys is a tad excessive.

In the video, each of the starters is seen using 2 attacks and judging by the attack animations might be able to guess their typing. Chespin appears to use Solarbeam and then possibly Shadow Claw. Fennekin appears to use Flamethrower and then Psychic. Froakie appears to use Hydro Pump and what looks like to me as Wild Charge because of the blue sparks.

I can agree with that...Froakie the best.
The other starters don't feel original or very Pokemon-looking.
This makes me sad. (To have quit Pokemon.)
Not sure if this was talked about yet, but when my friend showed this to me I was wondering how the whole 3D thing would affect competitive battling. How difficult would it be to make a simulator for the new gen?

also my theory regarding the legend duo: the deer one, considering its head looks like the hilt of the master sword and its legs are all blades and it lives on the ground and it's got the rainbow of truth which is kinda fighting because fighting is good (think cobal) is gonna be Fight/Ground, and the other one, considering it looks like a Twilit Kargarok and flies around is gonna be Dark/Flying, and they'll fight because ground hates flying and dark hates fighting
