fair enough; it just seems...weird, but i've always felt that people wanted a reason to cheer for Orton, so yeah. I guess the minute the "face" momentum started building it was too much to overcome.
I do like that he still mostly has the same persona, and his moves and ringstyle are unchanged, and I guess it goes with the "tweener" thing you mention - Orton's signatures (RKO and punt) are heel moves on a fundamental level. In particular, RKO doesn't have much of a setup, it's kind of a sneaky move (similar to the Edge spear), and well, it doesn't look, how to say, "honorable". It's still weird to see the crowd cheering the RKO setup.
