Is it just me who likes Drew McIntyre and what they are doing with his character? I can definately see world champion potential in him (even though it seems Vince is gonna force him down our throats like they did with Sheamus)

Well I guess Carlito can become Brother Colon Cage and spit out a new fruit in TNA, I predict the new fruit will be Orlando Jordan. :)

Actually, I think they're doing just the opposite here. He's had a slow push up to his current Intercontinental Championship run. It's not like Sheamus. "whoop i'm a new superstar on ec- hi i'm on raWWE CHAMPION"

Is it me or does Darren Young look like John Cena's black twin?

one time I saw a picture of darren young and was like, "hahaha, that's pretty funny, someone edited a picture of john cena wait"

loling at laycool mentoring kaval

I have no clue how ANYONE at creative thought that was going to work out in any possible way.

I liked Kane on Smackdown this Friday. This "Who did this to the Undertaker?" could become a "Who ran over Stone Cold?", except with less Rikishi.

I hope the whole Kane thing doesn't turn into "Who attacked Shawn Michaels", such as it did with Triple H.

In other news, I loved what the NXT Season One Rookies did to John Cena.

Danielson's release has to be a work right?

I would hope so, it would be really stupid on WWE's part.

Here is a PWInsider on why he got released...

– As an update to our report from late last night, Daniel Bryan (aka Bryan Danielson) was released as punishment for going beyond the company’s “PG” Standards and practices during Monday’s NXT invasion. The belief is that when Danielson choked Justin Roberts with is tie, it broke company protocol that was put in place after the Benoit family tragedy. The protocol was that talents were not to use ropes or objects to choke opponents.

The decision was made yesterday, and Danielson was informed shortly before the company announced it. For what it is worth, there are some wrestlers that still believe it is a work.

I'm getting the sinking feeling it's not a work, though I'm still hopeful. We'll probably find out this week, whether it's on RAW, NXT, Smackdown, or just a general press release of some kind.

I'm really liking this NXT angle lol. Everyone thought it would lose steam after Bryan Danielson got released but it has managed to carry on and after last night I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it!

Danielson firing looks legit, and doesn't seem like NXT was behind the Undertaker's state.

I'm real pissed off at Linda McMahon, for getting Daniel Bryan fired. Triple H chasing Randy Orton with a sledge hammer and breaking into his house is fine. However Daniel Bryan choking someone is going to far? That would be a nice complaint to use against her for her up coming election.

Sheamus owns. He won after interference from NXT (Fatal Four Way matches are no countouts, no DQ), took the belt, ran away through the stands, comes back onto the stage 5 minutes later, holds up the title, sees NXT and runs back the way he came.

okay

so i started watching wrestling again after several months

how in the FUCK is randy orton a face

orton is arguably the greatest heel ever; and he's the only legit antagonist to cena...what's the point, honestly, what's the point?

orton as face makes absolutely no sense

please, someone, anyone tell me what the fuck happened

something along the lines of:

sheamus wins title
orton feuds with sheamus and turns tweener-ish
feuds with legacy at wm26
feuds with edge (who turned heel)

he is still more of a tweener than a face imo

Well he became good as a heel, people saw that and started to cheer him so much that they couldn't really do anything apart from turn him face. As B-Lulz said he's not really a face as in John Cena like but more he goes against heels now.

And basically Legacy started interfering in his matches and screwed him in the process, he got angry, so they turned on him and they had a triple threat at WM which he won.

fair enough; it just seems...weird, but i've always felt that people wanted a reason to cheer for Orton, so yeah. I guess the minute the "face" momentum started building it was too much to overcome.

I do like that he still mostly has the same persona, and his moves and ringstyle are unchanged, and I guess it goes with the "tweener" thing you mention - Orton's signatures (RKO and punt) are heel moves on a fundamental level. In particular, RKO doesn't have much of a setup, it's kind of a sneaky move (similar to the Edge spear), and well, it doesn't look, how to say, "honorable". It's still weird to see the crowd cheering the RKO setup.

Speaking of Randy Orton, has anyone else noticed by now that he has not done a single punt since his face turn?

That makes a lot of sense - again, it is extremely difficult make a punt to the skull seem like a babyface move. You'd have to set up a character that the fans would want to be hurt very badly (kayfabe or otherwise) and then, it wouldn't be assured of going over well.

In general, face characters, even tweeners, aren't there to hurt people, or cause severe bodily injury (with exceptions).

Also, lol it seems Edge turned face too? That's even worse.

Might as well turn Cena heel now (lol just kidding, and that will never happen ever)
