Greatest. PPV. Ever.

SPOILERS:
It's about time that Christian became a world champion (albeit ECW is meh). Thank God Orton is champion, and the ending of his match was great. And also, Edge is champion again THANK GOD. :D.

Backlash was everything wrestlemania should have been. great results all around. Hopefully 2 certain superstars will take a long break from the spotlight after their matches and we can have some variety in the main event spots from now on.

Completely agreeing Kinneas. Backlash was 100 x better than wrestlemania, which is sad since Backlash is a free PPV. And yes, lets hope those 2 take a break for a nice long time. And also, give a Edge a reign longer than 2 months please ;D.

Here's a little food for thought. Judgement Day is in Chicago, Illinois - Punks home town. Anyone else smell a title win?

punk will cash in the night after judgment day since its too obvious he would do it on JD and vince has a problem with being too obvious.

i believe that raw is still in chicago anyway.

although i have no idea why edge would be on raw, maybe a tribute ceremony to vickie because they are no longer on same show?

ROFL. Heat machine ftw.

Oh and yeah, looks like CM Punk isn't cashing in at Judgment Day now :(

I miss Braden Walker he was a legend I mean come on he has the greatest undefeated streak in WWE History. Braden Walker never lost a match in WWE.

Anyone catch Smackdown this week? Man I feel excited to watch WWE again at least for Smackdown anyway, because Raw lately has been boring in my opinion. I think we might have a new Smackdown six like we did a few years ago with Edge, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, and John Morrison.

Speaking of WCW Thunder I remember when Vince Russo came aboard the creative team. Russo turned Goldberg Heel on Monday Night Nitro, but Goldberg hated it so much he demanded Russo to let him turn Face. So the same week on Thunder Goldberg turned back Face. >_>

Agreed. Smackdown is so good at the moment compared to RAW. The opening tag team match was brilliant. I've been so impressed with John Morrison on smackdown since the draft. It's great to see Haas actually wrestling again, him and Benjamin are an awesome tag team.

I need to give Smackdown more attention to be truthful here, I tend to watch Raw because it fits into my social life a bit better, what with me usually out on a Friday and Saturday night. I've got no excuse though, I've got Sky+ =/

Backlash WAS a great PPV, the forum I usually post on for such matters all seem to disagree though; most of them hated the ending to the Edge match.

I'm not too sure about Judgment Day, but, hell, they dragged a hell of a PPV in Backlash out of nowhere so I'm going to give this a chance.. not sure what to expect unfortunately.. which is probably best as I expected so much from Wrestlemania and it didn't live up to what I thought it'd do.

Predictions for tonight then people?

Batista vs Orton = I think WWE have finally realised that they're onto a good thing with Orton so I think his title reign will go on a little bit longer. I think Batista will win the title again a few months down the line, probably to coincide with HHH's comeback where they'll start a feud where HHH is all 'it's your fault I lose the title Dave' etc. But it's Orton tonight I think.

Edge vs Hardy - Quite a tight one...Jeff Hardy has recieved a massive push since Mania so I wouldn't be surprised to see him cap it off with a title win. I think the fans are a little bored of seeing Edge win the title one month and then lose it the next so I think Edge will sneak it tonight.

Cena vs Big Show - Blah blah blah, Cena is so tough for competing with an injury yadda yadda. Cena makes me sick.

CM Punk vs Umaga - Home advantage right?

Rey Mysterio Jr vs Chris Jericho - Keep the title on Rey so he can stay in the lower leagues and not embarrass the WWE by competing for the bigger titles. Anyone else dying to see Jericho go face again?

Can't think of any more matches atm but agreeing with the above posts that Smackdown is great at the moment. Well, it seems great but then I turn over and watch TNA and realise it's second-rate by comparison. xD

Same here. I always record Smackdown and watch it saturday afternoon/evening when I wake up.

There's so many matches on the card tonight that I wasn't even aware of. I didn't know there was gonna be a Shelton vs Morrison match tonight, but I'm so glad there is.

UMAGA SPEAKS!

Also, I wish JR would learn what irony is so he can stop repeatedly using it in the wrong context every week.

I still think that Khali should challenge Ziggler to a Punjabi Prison Match at Extreme Rules.

Speaking of Dolph Ziggler, who else misses hearing "I'M DOLPH ZIGGLER" in his matches?
