RNG NOC: GAME OVER

No, I mainly voted because I wanted him to contribute. He appears to have attempted that. As such, my reason for voting him rather than FoSing him is now mostly gone. Do I want more contributing from him? Yes. Do I want him to do so more competently? Yes. However, I feel that it is better now to try and get more chat out of MeowMixx than it is to go after Metal Sonic. I did mention that I'd probably remove the vote if MS contributed, and I figure on allowing the thought to count this time. Added to this is how his post, right after mine, while mostly worthless, does bring up a decent point. I still want to go after Metal Sonic, but later.

(Also, IIRC - and I looked at the posts like 10 seconds before starting this sentence - it was you and LightWolf saying not to lynch MS rather than you and Acklow).

Oh, and Metal Sonic: I would like in-depth (re: at least 3 lines of analyzing) explanations for your views on MeowMixx and Eagle4. I think they've provided enough for you to analyze that much.
 
I know that Smogon has been getting DDoSed, but the activity in this game (with the exception of a few players) is pretty sad. Over half the game has not posted since the DDoSing began, and I simply do not have anywhere near enough subs to replace you.

There will be no more extensions today (even if Smogon gets DDoSed again). Eventually you guys have to play the game if you want to avoid a MYLO tomorrow.
 
As far as I see it the last few posts seem like a gigantic waste of time where Acklow argues with MS and expects something to come from it. My vote on MeowMixx sticks, and didn't change since my last post. Also I have been sick this week so yeah I will analyse MS and Acklow engage after it stops hurting my head even more than it already is.
 
Unvote Metal Sonic My vote on him was mostly a prod. His contributions were decent, so I'm willing to take my vote off. I don't want to lose a power role if that's really what he is.
 
After reading the last few posts, I can conclude this: 30% chance isn't good no matter how much it is. Ever play X-com? Try taking 30% shots in that and win. If we don't figure out who the mafia is on the day, don't lynch them, because there's a 70% chance to make the next day the final chance to find one. Continuously lynching random people is not going to help us.

Lynch Metal sonic. FoS Aura Guardian. These two seem to have some kind of... connection. Aura Guardian shouting at Metal Sonic to contribute, which everyone was doing at the start of this thing, but the problem is when Aura Guardian said 'He attempted to contribute, that's good enough for me'. This is not normal behaviour. Was Cereza not lynched because of her posts looking like contribution but not really being contribution? Why is metal sonic any different? The main reason I have seen coming up is 'He claimed he is a power role.'

There you go I'm safe now. I know it seems ridiculous, but that is exactly what has happened. He didn't even specify what power role. He could be Ganondorf or Zant, they have power, I am sure! (idk, main characters I would think of for a villain character in this game)

2) Aura guardian
3) No strong impulses on anyone... Fire blast.

Fire blast and Yoshinite, post on Gronk's death and on Aura Guardian.

It's just that now that he's attempted to contribute (and *might* continue) my reasons for going after MeowMixx are now more pressing than my suspicions of Metal Sonic, since my vote on MS was, like Blackhawk's vote, mostly a prod, and I removed it for virtually the same reasons. Emphasis on mostly a prod. I would LOVE it if an inspector would check him, though.

As for Cereza lynch: it was a choice between her and MeowMixx, IIRC, so there wasn't much choice - one or the other, and I was suspicious of both. Am suspicious of the remainder, actually. And Metal Sonic's posts seem to have the vibe of actually attempting to contribute rather than the vibe of trying to remain under the radar. That and the presence of a better target (MeowMixx), wer the main reasons why I accepted his horrible post as grounds to unvote him.

3/10 * 2/8 * 1/6 = 1/80 of getting it right three times in a row without mislynch
7/10 * 3/8 * 2/6 * 1/4 = 7/320 of getting it right 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times
3/10 * 6/8 * 2/6 * 1/4 = 3/160 of getting it right 1st, 3rd, and 4th times
3/10 * 2/8 * 5/6 * 1/4 = 1/64 of getting it right 1st, 2nd, and 4th times

1/80+7/320+3/160+1/64 = (4+7+6+5)/320 = 22/320 = 11/160 = 6.875% chance of winning. So yeah, no random lynching, please. Unless an inspector comes forward with a lot of clean names, which *might* be worth it right now.

Ok I haven't had any time to post so I might as well respond to Celever. But first FoS Metal Sonic

Gronkosaurus' death was IMO completely random again. I feel that Gronko was just this random scummy guy that called out a lot of people, and would therefore be targeted by mafia to inflict suspicion on other people. A good scum would want to get rid of someone that was targeting someone they want to lynch. I feel we cannot draw any conculsions for the death.

I still strongly believe AG is town. He encourages people to help the town, and hellps the town himself. I don't really understand why you want me to post about him.

On the subject of MS, I have no idea what is going on! He was randomly attacking Acklow, who happens to be gone now, and I find rando attacking suspicious. A spontaneous mafia might try a crazy effort to get someone lynched by doing that. All in all, his weird behavior deserves an FoS.

My FoSes are on yoshinite and celever right now (i'm pretty sure), and i remain suspicious of each of them. I'd love to hear more (from all four of these players really). I don't think that Fire Blast is mafia, but it wouldn't take too much to persuade me to think otherwise. meowmixx/tas I am really unclear on. tas didn't seem to do too much, and offhand I can't think of any posts by meowmixx.

I still think we can take the gamble on MEtal Sonic that he is in fact mafia. While this game has been very healthy for his post count, is hasn't been good for actually tacking down mafia. If we had just gotten rid of him earlier then we would probably have a much better chance of getting rid of the mafia now.
As it stands, he is still here so we need to get rid of him. I have noticed many of my actions seem kinda scummy (not on purpose) so will post when I return from school.
 
Wow, I hate my Dad, I have no school today and he woke me up so damn early my brain was too sleep-drunk to remember. >;(

Anyway, right now I am posting because I have realized a few mistakes I have made with lynching, namely with Cereza, since I pushed for and brought up Cereza, and she ended up as a vanillager. But you have to admit, Cereza was pretty scummy. Cereza getting lynched with so little votes is very unfortunate, since if people were just more active the lynch could have been avoided (I was away for almost a week and about 2 pages of posts happened, are you kidding me?) and I wasn't here in the big drought of activity. I brought her up, but 2 other people lynched her, not much, but that is kinda the fault of the inactive.

Just in case someone brings it up to me later, I may as well get it out of the way earlier.

day 1 impressions:

Eagle4 didn't put a vote down until he was called out on it, tries to role fish Metal Sonic in the early portion of the game (which is what caused MS to pull that "I am a PR doodoo"), wasn't as active as people were giving him credit for, would have probably been my d1 lynch

Yoshinite seems extremely non-committal to calling people scum (like here), and when he does his reasoning is a bit flawed. not sure whether to chalk it up to beginner townie or scummy just yet

Fire Blast looks p. townie to me

Obbmud says a lot of nothing

Celever likes latching onto other people's arguments; again, not sure whether it's new town or scum

CBT was a super easy lynch target for scum (an inactive), I'm surprised anybody on the wagon who was town didn't try and fight it more

Leaning scum read The first few reads were alright, I would have listed Post #2 as townie. However, post #3 is absolute shit. The read on Lightwolf is extremely reluctant(for lack of a better word), as in unable to offend him directly yet trying to attack him somewhat. Doesn't even state if he is a town or scum read.

And then, the reply to TAS was... disappointing. Null read for that one

But the lynch on obbmud! Ohhhh the lynch! It is horrible! Vile! Read the 2 sentences and it reeks of scum/newbiness. Here's the problem: I've played with meowmixx before and he is definitely not a newbie. He is likely to be scum!

Leaning town post The response to Acklow was actually quite towny, I would make this post a Town Post. However, the responses to the questions(and worst of all the questions asked to "everybody") were quite scummy. I could treat this as Meow's playstyle, seeing as to he usually does this kind of thing. But he degraded the Town post down to a leaning-town post.

Verdict:
Meowmix has been inactive for ~ 1 week, his last "content" post, #6, was more than a week ago. Talk about not posting content. Besides, his Post #6 had a tinge of scum (not a 100% town post to guarantee his safety).

I believe a Vote: Meowmix is in order.
 
Okay, fine MS you did sell me there! I'm still a little suspicious of you so keeping my FoS. In one question I answered I already stated I would get rid of Meow after Cereza, so don't attack me for "bandwagoning"

Metal Sonic making a good post means a) He feels incredibly strongly about MeowMixx being mafia or b) He is mafia trying to get the blame onto Meowmixx. Right now I believe option A, but the day is running out and if Meowmixx is dead at the deadline and is flipped as a villager or vanillager then I am lynching Metal Sonic, and you all should lynch him too.

I suppose we just have to wait for MeowMixx's lynch, if it does go forth, to decide Metal Sonic's role. Now I know that this is so hypocritical coming from me, since following my logic I should be getting lynched right now, but trust me on this that Cereza was a total mistake that a few people joined me on.

Also FoS'ing Fire Blast because he has been inactive for a long time now.
