Rotom evolutions hmm

so it seems those pictures of 5 new pokemon are in fact rotom evolutions, see here, i am looking forward to these, Rotoms typing is a great type to have especially in Ubers (so my flying and pychic types there) hopefully at least one evolution is a boosted rotom (more SpA and more speed), i look forward to the twists in the metagame these will cause, one could be physical too (one with big hands)
so what are your expectations/thoughts on these.

Anyway, I want to know how the hell will we play against them. If they are evolutions as you said, I mean.
 
I think its fake unless we get some heavy confirmation :/

Looks like someone just positioned rotom in different forms to fit the pictures :/

Are they evolutions or forms? Either way I hope they are more powerful. Maybe there's one ofr physical attacks, one for special, etc.
 
I don't know, it could be another sham. The white around the forms is very excessive, it really makes it look as if it's an alteration of some sort. Hopefully when that issue comes out it'll have more specific information on them..

I second Arael's point about posting it in the Platinum thread.

I very much doubt that any formes will exceed Rotom's current BST, but more like a reshuffling of the stats; Deoxys style. I've noticed a lot of people using defensively orientated Rotom lately to abuse those resistances and moves, so it's gonna be interesting to see a Rotom with worthwhile defensive stats, possibly the blocky one in the bottom left?
 
That's interesting.
Botom Left(Blocky)=Defense
Bottom Right(Thing Sticking Out)=Attack
Middle Right(Plane)=Speed
Top Left/Right=???
Middle=Rotom
EDIT: There are numbers next to the different forms.
 
This looks fake to me.

But it does make sense giving Rotom evolutions or forms. Such a cool interesting pokemon. Gamefreak must want him to be in standard, or want him to be better at least.
 
I could see this being fake, but if not then I think its a very cool, although not exactly original, thing to do. Perhaps unlike of Deoxys which had general attack, defense, and speed forms each one could represent an individual stat (one for attack, sp. attack, sp defense, defense, and speed).
 
I think they are fake, look at the camera one, its eye is in strange place. Maybe they are not fakes, but then not that good works.

Wow, (no pun intended) a bulky rotom would be...amazing! :O
 
They all look a bit stupid, but hopefully it'll be cool if they have worthwhile stats. A more defensive one will be nice, but with such a shit BST, it's going to be hard to spread that six ways and make them very different...
 
Closer and closer to Platinums' release in Japan and the game keeps revealing its' surprises, I for one and going to enjoy using Rotoms' new forms in Platinum:) I also hope for a bulky Rotom because that fat one looks like it could take some hits:)
 
I don't believe this is true. It said the "future issue of corocoro magazine". or something along the lines of that. How does a random youtube member get an advanced copy of a magazine? I would understand if he previously had scans before hand or if he said he worked for, or had someone who worked for coro coro.

I think I like most of them. But maybe its because I still think they are fake. Hopefully they are real though.
 
These dont look that great at all. Not very creative just looked like they slapped rotom on the silohettes. I hope these pics are fake cause these look super lame in my oppinion. I was hoping the one would be sandstorm castform. To me it seems five new forms for one pokemon is too much.

You are correct and thanks for proving my point consirdiring unown is one of the stupidest pokemon ever. The evees are more creative then these rotoms also.

Edit: also these new rotoms dont look like they can have new types like the evees.
 
Rotom's already a terrific UU pokemon-- if it gets new forms and, as ODDish mentioned, if those forms manage to stay in UU, it should be really great for the UU metagame. I'm excited!
 
It stands to reason that rumours will fly all the time until anything is truly confirmed. Everything from Pikablu to this. Let's give it a few more weeks, if this is genuine then we'll have a better idea closer to the date.

In fact, when is the Japanese Platinum release anyway, I believe its fairly close?
