Rules:
  • 1 point per correct game outcome based on team, and an additional 2 bonus points are awarded for anyone that "clean sweeps" a week, i.e. they predict all 5/5 game outcomes correctly. Note that if a person is subbed, your prediction will be counted based on that sub winning on behalf of the original person on the lineup.
  • You must pick exactly one winner (no bolding the "vs.") for each of the 5 games.
  • Your post will be scored at the end of the week only if it has no edits. You may make a new post if you want to change your predicts so as long as it is before the first game of the week is played (in other words, don't try to cheese the first game outcome by making a post while it's being played. I reserve the right to remove anyone from the competition if their prediction timing seems suspicious for any reason.)

If you got 3/5 correct, your weekly score would be 3. If you got all 5/5 correct, your weekly score would be 7 (5, then +2 for a clean sweep). The sum of all weekly scores in the regular season will be your final score. The highest scoring individual which was never disqualified will be deemed the winner. Spreadsheet with points tracking coming soon!

I encourage people to discuss WHY their predicts are the way they are. This is entirely optional, but it's nice to see people overview player matchups so as to justify why one player emerge victorious over another.

LilyAC vs Laroxyl - Both had good games last week (and literally brought the same team) and made aggressive plays to beat their opponents. I think Lily has more momentum going for her, seeing as how she took down dcae.
Boulicrok vs Wail Wailord - Wail played solidly in the mid- and late-game after losing the early-game really hard, while Bouli got a convincing win with a little help from hjk miss. I think both are similar playwise, but Wail brought double water + double grass (what was he trying to matchup well against?), which makes me think less of his team support.
daunt vs vs kythr - Two players that benefitted from missed moves. dvs basically got demolished by star early-game and got bailed, while kythr looked like a god the first 12 turns, greeded a bit too much and was put behind, and got bailed. If kythr plays this game like how he played his early game against wail, its gonna be a rough matchup for dvs.
dcae vs teal6 - teal performed better than his "10th" ranking, but his team severely handicapped him. Bringing a Poison-less team with Fight resist Abra and not EVing the Abra to have Submission KO Pawniard showed lapses in teambuilding. dcae didn't play to his level and got bodied by Mienfoo due to poor team choice, but its difficult to see him going down 0-2.
KSG vs Toadow - Both players were on the end of the High Jump Miss curse. Both played well, but Im more skeptical of Toadow after he attempted to game matchup with Wynaut + Shellder (I respect the fish tho).

LilyAC vs Laroxyl: lily did great last week, i believe thisll be hers even though laro wont let his guard down
Boulicrok vs Wail Wailord: i believe wail has an edge on this one
daunt vs vs kythr: daunt almost lost to star last week hes unviable and kythr is crazy good
dcae vs teal6: dcae is not going 0-2
KSG vs Toadow: lets go kevin spanish guy
