i think so because im used to him being a giga tryhard for years who also has spoken about dying early and people not listening to him later in the game when he solves the game early, but maybe im wrong and he did join the game to just full send troll, i wouldnt be 100 percent shocked and if thats the case then he could be either alignment - but i do think on balance of probabilities hes weighted towny enough for me to not want to vote there today, since i see this posting style as more likely from town him than mafia
 
I think I've put in a reasonable amount of effort and I'll be on at DL, but I'm not gonna no life try-hard this game just because you think I have to.

I've been working in the factory this week and now its the weekend and I'm chilling. That's the M2H you get this game.

I realize now that Vanilla isnt exactly riskless for mafia because it does make strategic sense for town to vote off a role early which is a) confirmed no power and b) indicative of mafia choices

M2H: very surprised at the early play in general with the mass-claim push on n1 (#406), the detailed analysis also seems like an attempt to wrest village control from Pidgeon / other contributors like Lechen, I could be wrong but I am slightly scumlean

Pulsar: the focus early-game (like #66 + #83) rubs me the wrong way, and so does randomly dropping off the face of the earth in terms of posts since then

with reference to set up spec and what mafia has done, i honetly think that comes into play much more mid to late game when we have seen what mafia has and hasnt picked, we are better off saving these type of votes for later in the game when we can make more informed guesses, rather than wasting that sort of speculation early

I think there's an argument to be made that what she's saying could be the correct play but honestly just on a vibes sense I feel like she has some agenda there and the knowledge and focus on roleblock/rolecop special actions feels like a bit of a slip. Kind of in the sense where when I was in my 5 player games on discord mafia where there are 3 town, 1 mafiaso, and 1 gf and I was GF I read back through the game and I literally did not shut up about the godfather all game. Like kind of a projection-type thing. Because she knows about the special actions and maybe mafia made a plan or were talking about a plan to use them, she fixates on them heavily. My lynch pool for today is like Neon(maybe?)/NE/Alice/Flandrs tbh.

if you are mafia here it's still a growth moment because usually you would just pocket me. but no I do really genuinely TR you here. It's a growth moment because I'm not trolling or doing anything terribly bad and you are still misreading me here which means that in this instance I am not polarized. I can take that as a consolation honestly.

I don't really think I'm saying anything mean or particularly grumpy TBH. But yeah, people are literally requiring that i have "no life" levels of effort in order to not lynch me, but I'm not going to give that kind of effort when it just is not organic for me right now.

I do think that anybody on my wagon that's town is gonna really regret this, but yeah. I came in today and I put forth a few hours of effort. And I'm active right now. I did what I could before. If that's not enough then so be it.

ECat - honestly seems like a confused townie + from what I've talked to him in the last OC, very honest as a person

Flandrs - while he can be an agent of chaos, Flandrs has had some decent moments (as evidenced in the posts above)
Ehmcee + Kazumi: both have had believable townslips, the Kazumi discussion about roleblocking/copping is also pretty townish in my eyes

NE - the lack of activity makes me a bit worried, but the holster point is pretty decent from him

There’s a difference between townread and townlean! Townreading imo is “This person’s posting has lead me to confidently believe they are town” Townleaning is “at this point I feel this person’s posting gives off towny vibes.” So in no way did I read M2H as town, I was meta-analyzing and felt that M2H’s posts felt in character. By the way, after that post I had shifted my view on M2H. I don’t like how you feel that just because I disagree with you I’m a different alignment, but that’s not indicative of alignment rn.

Anyways, the world doesn’t revolve around me so reads!

I want mafia to spend credits early game in role cop or go blind without knowing our roles. Giving them info early seems like a waste. I could be wrong but I don't feel like D1 massclaim is the play the more I think about it.

Didn't you say in #384 that neon can be mechanically solved later? Why lynch him now?

Thinking about it now I do think I have a legit scumread on him for not claiming like he normally does. He said he'd be killed for it which implies that it's either a big role or an intuitively scummy one, both of which point me towards him.

I still would rather vote NE but neon is an option imo.
