that's true, it could've been disguised if you were on a wagon with others but it inevitably would've come out the next day or two
was more just trying to gauge if you had some communication with a mafia team or something to discuss claiming for show, but i honestly struggle to see a reason that a claim would be greenlit in a scenario where you had no pressure on you, so i'm moving on for now
...why would you go out of your way to announce that?
It's LAMIST based on saber being (hopefully) widely townread from mech

I feel like best case scenario you get wifom from the possibility of lying and healing someone else

AP is near locktown or an actual legend at scum, their worldview is so defined and consistent and it's extremely hard to emulate that level of read depth as mafia. i was kind of expecting them to flip, but it's far too early to get worried about that sort of thing and there are several reasons HH could be the kill over them that would still allow them to be town. disagree with a handful of their reads, overall they're not so bad and they're explained pretty well
kind of want to start with a clean slate today, but for now i'll kick things off with AP as my root towncore member and work out from there
you guys need to explain the alice townread to me though, i'm not understanding what i'm missing at all and i have them at like tier 4 prior to rereading everything from the second half of D1 a second time to see if my opinions shift around any further
i'm happy with a duskfall vote for now but could be convinced to vote elsewhere, i just have grievances with dusk's progression onto the M2H vote and some other parts of how he finished out D1 that i want to talk through with him when he's around, maybe some gaps can be filled
and maybe i also need to let dbd go. i'm being a bit stubborn on this one admittedly because the way the rest of D1 played out makes me think this was tvt wagons that mafia got to pick and choose from, but if their slot is just going to hang on to the edge of the cliff if we never resolve it and cause more problems than it's worth, then whatever. it's tough because my read on them is more based on overall thread treatment and wagon composition than the slot itself, at face value they actually haven't done a whole lot to deserve a townread except what i mentioned yesterday. it's not that they're "too scummy to be scum" AngryPidgeon, it's that the way they were posting felt uncoached and pretty clueless, like they just kept saying things where i was like "a coached wolf does not post that" and the aforementioned "alone" feeling, like i'd think they'd have some sort of helping hand

Yes it does suggest that mafia are comfortable with the current wagons and town leadeeship.
Like I said it makes me a bit more sus of NE since HH had doubts about him. I think HH was a decent kill choice since he was townread by many and is known to be a solid player. I will note that HH never really mentioned me ever I think. Which could be argued makes me sus maybe. But i don't put too much stock in the HH nk. If Duskfall is scum I could see them not killing us. Since the three of us are definitely interacting a lot and I think some towns out there do see us as a "block" of sorts which not be t/t/t.
The idea is, mafia lu looks like healer/gladiator/neighborizer/tracker/vanilla rn. if they dont have healer, i live tn. if they do, i die tn. if we get a odd tracker claim, we can basically confirm the lu is healer/gladiator/neighborizer/vanilla. Once i die and flip town, i believe a mass claim is our best play
i apologize if dbd winds up being mafia because then i'd be the one int'ing, and that'd mean i teed up a counterwagon that mafia got to leverage while i was afk for the day... which would suck. i can't pretend i'm not afraid that's a possibility, but i'm also not one to not be vocal in what i believe in, so i'll stick to my guns for now. i'm not going to shutter off the vote completely, if there's a strong overwhelming sentiment that we should go through with it, sure. for now i think we have some tastier votes on the table, like dusk and potentially neon
there are other candidates i'd consider here, like pulsar, but i have a problem with dusk & pulsar's svs equity because: i think it's unlikely that pulsar, if partnered with dusk, would tell M2H directly that they're throwing if they use vengeful on him. i mean, it's possible, but that is so bold because if M2H just ignored them and shot her partner, then she pretty much ties him to her and makes herself destined to be a vote afterwards

no... this is just not how it works. even if it's a 4 player mafia team, they have the option to go in debt and make it back up with BPVs or whatever else. there's no way any mafia team worth their salt would use a recruit and then just do healer + three of the cheapest roles in the book. that would be so glaringly obvious. nothing gets confirmed mechanically by any one of these roles flipping mafia, it doesn't lock any of the other roles into being mafia
Why is Neon suddenly a tastier vote? Why nothing about Lechen after you were just involved in that convo for a moment a bit ago?
We have no bpv claims as of now, but I did say we need a tracker claim (which is the only other good role for mafia)
