the secongd is dusclops, i read that if u stare into its hollow body, u could b lost in the void
amd the first is, i think, either confusion or curse, curse because the animation for that move is a pokemon gettin stabbed by a nail, confusion cuz it just plain makes no sense.

no. Remember, condition is anything that effects the field, pokemon, or moves. One more try.

like an ice cream menu, think of all the flavors u can and change each evolution to that flavor!!!!

You're improving, but it's still just krimgan-with-other-mon-bits. Try combining bodies, and give it all one color. Pokemon sprites have 15 colors total. To see colors, and transparentize things, visit iaza.com- it's really not that hard to make things transparent. ;)

I guess I will enter Gracken due to your fondness of it. :P

also, i need a decent sprite of a closed gen 1 pokedex for a proj. im workin on

It's meant to be Arcanine disguised as Raikou, but I couldn't find a suitable way to incorporate the "cape" or the tail. Any C+C would be appreciated.
 
Um...hey guys. I've been stalking this thread for half a year now...You guys sparked my interest and love for spriting and I've been using all your tips and comments to sharpen my sprites, now I finally have the courage to post here. (I don't really now how to post pictures though, sorry if it comes out wrong :p)

This is a Lion Dance lion I took two days to make. *pant* It sort of flies up at the back, because I've been basing it off a real life photo (does it still count as scratch then?) where it's walking down a slope. I'll correct it soon.

This is my current avatar, scratched, but still with heavy reference to the BW male character. Especially the bottom. And...I'm not quite sure about the hand.

I like these...very much actually. I didn't even notice the B/W male character in there until you pointed it out. On the Lion Dance lion you could move the clothe in the middle a bit to the right to align more with the head. The horn also comes out of the head at a strange v shape (around the base of it), but it looks REALLY good. Welcome sta...Fellow Spriter!

Don't worry! Besides, it's about 1 in the morning for me, Chocolate Kipp, Doran Dragon, Teddyman13, Albinoloon, etc. Posts start flooding in at about noon, Smogon time.
 
sup, i have been interested in spriting, but have been stuck with schoolwork a lot recently. However right now i am kinda free so i have just started spriting, and created the following:

) I'd like to thank the Academy of the Tedpokemon Awards for their acknowledgement and encouragement in the form of this fabulous trophy.

The idea came up quite simply: I was in a relative's house during Chinese New Year, a rural area to be specific, so I was quite bored, not to mention itching for inspiration for a sprite. When a Lion Dance lion visited our house for the performance, I thought...now THIS would be THE challenge for me, if I managed to scratch that thing I'd be happy for a million years.

To make the sprite I first looked up Google Images for reference,

I flipped it and started making a skeleton, then an outline. And then I used red and white colors from DP Zangoose and brown from Exeggutor. Worked for two days."
