Hello all somewhat fellow spriters! This is my first post on Smogon, but I have lurked about for quite a bit. I have been spriting for a while, but I rarely do it so I am not amazingly good. I consider myself at least half decent, but I would like some feedback on my sprites. I normally prefer trainer sprites to Pokemon sprites, but I do both. I find myself drawn to revamps mostly for Pokemon. Now that I am done with my rather drawn out introduction, let's get to my favorite sprites!
This is one of my first revamps. I'm a little dicey on the shading of the tail on our left, and on the right of the head the outline looks odd though I can't place how. I think I did pretty well picking outline colors, but I'd still like feedback.
I am pretty sure the dirt surrounding the body is off, but I can't figure out how to fix it. I think I did pretty well on the body, however.
The eyes taunt me here. I fixed them up as well as I could, but they still look really off.
A request from my friend to combine a normal type and a psychic type. I think overall it looks pretty smooth, but feedback would be nice.
The face horrifies me here. If there is one thing I am not good at, its faces. I fixed it up as well as I could, but it still taunts me. Help would be appreciated here. This was a request from a friend.
Read above.
Actually, I think this one was pretty good. It's a gijinka of a Bellossom, if you couldn't tell.
+10 points for you if you know what this is and where it comes from. It's technically not a Pokemon, but I am going to put it here anyways since I made it from a mix of Pokemon parts and scratching. If you do recognize it, I didn't put the rings around the ear protrudings because this was a request from a friend who is obsessed with the thing where this comes from and she requested to not include the rings as she thought they looked odd. If you want, I'll be glad to include some.
There! I'd appreciate it if you state your favorite sprite from the bunch and your least favorite and a whole bunch of constructive criticism. Thank ya!
