Ooh, I like that. I don't know what K-ON! is, but, it must be pretty awesome judging by that sprite. (I'm already impressed and it's not even done...)

Now, it's my turn!

It all started with an innocent little doodle. I looked at it and decided to try to clean it up to put it into pixel/sprite form. Then, it turned into that. I know, the Banette's head thingie doesn't look like that, and I'll probably get around to changing that when I begin to refine it some more. I tell you, scratching feels more satisfying than fusing Psyducks with random things.

oh, and as always, C+C please. I want to get some feedback before I start aimlessly coloring the hiding Whismer only to find I left something out...

I am locking on to the final stages of my fire clefable. I've gotten rid of the wings and I've decided to give clefable one of those shoulder strap thingies that holds ammo (grenades, I guess) XD

@ninjabait: never heard of k-on, but it looks great.

@Ailelulu (main, that's annoying to type. Is there something else we could call you?): Yeah, fix up banette's hair thing. The grass needs to look a bit more like grass (I don't know how you would do that, though), but other than that, it's great.

The line separating the stomach and body should not be black, it should be the outline color for the stomach. Also the rear wing should be rounder, it looks smashed. And the back of the head should be enlarged 1 or 2 pixels, it looks like the neck is too skinny.

Your shading is very good, but you made one mistake. You lit the stomach from the right instead of the left XO. And don't forget to make the bg transparent to make it look pro. I think somebody mentioned a website that will transparitize backgrounds.

Very very good sprite. Congratulations, your a real spriter! Did you trace the outline from a resized picture? that would explain the smashed looking wing.

The outline is actually dark, dark brown. but there's a lighter shade of brown I can use.

I had no clue how to shade the stomach, so I'll get on that, too. Thanks, though! I've never been good at shading, so to know I'm coming along is good.

An..thanks again! "Very very good" means a hell of a lot coming from an expert like you. And yes, the outline was traced from a frame in the anime. I'll fix that wing.

=D I'm quite satisfied with how the sprite came out! That's an understatement.
 
Heh, Fuzzberry, I think your awesome dragonite sprite inspired me out of my slump. All I've been doing lately is moping about my love being away in Portland when I should have been using the free time to enjoy my hobby. That suicune splice was just lazy on my part. So here's a peek at what I'm working on, a request from a Deviant Art user that likes my work.

It's actually not looking at anything, seeing as how it doesn't have eyes yet. But it's interesting from a psychological viewpoint that you projected that onto a blank face.

Now it has eyes. Got the arms to look less noodle-like.

@Fuzzberry: forget what I said about the stomach outline being wrong. That's actually right, it was just the shading that was throwing me off.
 
It's looking good so far TVboy, no issues I see.

Just finished my first repose. These are harder than I thought, a fair amount of scratching was involved. The legs were impossible to make fit, so I used Latias' legs. Please C+C because I need to know what to improve on.

Don't forget to change the direction of the eyes. Sorry, I forgot to mention that the process does involve a fair amount of scratching, but it's still a lot less than making an actual scratch, and I'm glad you figured out that you can use pieces from similar pokemon.

Reposing is a good stepping stone from splicing into scratching.
 
Sorry for not being on constantly guys. There's been all sorts of builders at my house, and I've not been able to get to my computer.

I think I'll just submit clefable with an eyepatch in a wing........it got into a very bad bar brawl.

That's pretty darn good TV. And it's a good thing you aren't mourning about your love right now, otherwise we wouldn't have you here.

I can't see anything wrong with your repose, except you need to make the leg thingies thicker so they don't look like a recolored version of Latias's.
 
Thanks TVboy and 1337 ^^). As for the legs 1337, I had no idea what to do with them, I tried a lot but couldn't get it to work. Ah well lol.

That Scizor sprite is simply amazing TVboy, right now I see nothing wrong with it. Great job man.

BTW, I PMed Mordock and Ninjabait about the WSC themes and asked Wyverii to sub out for TVboy if no one minds.

If you have any objections to the theme just let me know (I forget if I PMed you about it or not TVboy).
 
Hello, everyone. Glad to say that I am back spriting. Right now I am on my mom's laptop at her school (she's a pincipal) spriting and whatnot. Fortunately, the internet locks at school aren't strict enough to block access to Smogon and the Sprite Generator. Unfortunately, they are strict enough to block out Photobucket, so I can't upload my sprites. When I get out of here, I'm going to have a few additions to the Gallade Dex. So far, I have Loudred which would be GDN:0??, 'cause I can't remember the previous no. currently, and will prob. have another done before I can use Photobucket. Anyways, glad to be back, even though it's mainly just on Tuesdays, cause my brother (who drives me home) has a class 'till 6 on Tuesdays.

@Canti: I'll critique your Scizor when I get home, since this laptop makes squares into rectangles.
 
Yayz! X, you're finally back (well, semi-back). It was getting so boring around here without you posting.

Say, does your mom's laptop run windows XP/Vista? Just wondering, cause I'm pretty sure you can get past blocked sites on XP. I'm not sure you can do it on vista though, but since the two are very similar......
Well, there are other ways to bypass blocks, non of which I will discuss here.

I want to see Loudred, like now. It should look darn good, because you're you XD


My school starts very soon........I really hate school >_<

I'm just getting back in the swing of things, so C&C would be highly appreciated. Also, I am happy to say that tomorrow I should have another one or two done. I'm already halfway through with one.

@1337: You wanna know when my school started? The fricken' sixth of August. Seriously. My school gets cancelled for so many things (Hey, look, 0.001% chance of snowstorms! Quick! Everyone! Head for the hills!) that they decided to just start about two weeks early. It's only a matter of time until summer vacation is just one hour long...
 
Its an excellent sprite, but theres one issue, thats an Exploud, not a Loudred :P.

The sixth? Damn man, thats rough, mine starts in two days and thats early for us
 
Very good sprite :D Impressive for how long I haven't seen a sprite from you. The only nitpick that I have is that the tube thingies on the legs make it look like he doesn't have knees.

Poor you =( That sucks, the sixth of August. Your school must be some crazy place. Once school starts, I'll have drastically less time, and marching practice......Don't expect to see me on often.
