Thanks for all the advice, and for answering my questions.
And Wombat Sky Forme, I just battled you on Shoddy. I led with an ambipom, and had a Swampert that caused problems for your team..?
Damn, that was you? That team is weird, I am trying to get a bunch of Baton Passed boosts to set Wiggly up, needless to say, a phazer destroys that strategy. That's why I've just added Jolteon, to beat phazers such as Suicune, Skarm, and Swampert. And than Baton Pass the boosts again.

I can MAKE the video fine using Movie Maker, My question is how to get it to loop, like:

CREDITED TO AGAKI

Also, how long should each frame be about?

Also, I sketched two Wigglytuff drawings (off the computer) that I will scan in soon. Then I will be making a Wiggly scratch.

You're STILL doing that Galladex, Xand? Remember it was my idea you do it? ;P

Anyways, here's my first devamp, of the RSE Feraligator sprite. I need good advice on this one as it's my first (it was supposed to be the HGSS sprite, but oh well good practice).

@XandZero2 Gallade's right leg makes it seem like it's kind of standing awkwardly. Other than that, the shading and outline is spot on and I love the pose.

@NikLink Everything seems fine, you're under the size limit for devamps and you've used the right amount of colours.

'K, I'll fiddle with it a bit, see if it cann't look better.

On a related note, are we still allowed to do minor edits to our WSC entries?

EDIT: Which looks better?

The new one's the bottom one, just so ya' know.

Yay, some other old-timers are back.

Apparently, I wasted my effort remodling Draggy here. ._. Would appreciate some C + C on Draggy V.2 anyway, since it's all I've been able to get at all week.

I fixed everything that was pointed out in the original sprite. I'm looking for further suggestions. ^^

Looks great apart from the 'antenna' things. The one on the left seems to be behind the horn? And I'd prefer d-nite to be bulkier, but maybe that's just me

This is the sprite I'm working on for the WSC. I know it looks wicked flat. Just wanted to know, before I start shading/finalizing, if you guys can see anything glaringly wrong with the anatomy? This is another scratch (minus the head)... How is it?

The bottom one looks better, maybe bring it in a little close to the other leg.

Like this?

Everything that needs work is circled in red. The arm looks like it's made of rubber. Give it either an elbow or make it straight. Lucario's arms don't naturally bend that way.

Next, the feet are jointed wrong.
448lucario.png

Take this sprite as an example. The feet don't have a major joint at the toes, they have one at the ankle. Also, the right leg has a second knee. Lucario's knee is under its baggy pants.

Speaking of which, Lucario's pants are another main thing of criticism. The left pants leg is to thin. Lucario's pants are supposed to be bulked out, like in the OS. The smaller circle points out a seemingly random dent in the pants that can be easily fixed. Another thing I forgot to point out is that the line showing the split in the pants is off. It should be originating at the spotwhere the pants first split, in this case, around the edge of the right pants leg.

Oh, and it lacks a neck.

I like the pose alot actually, it's just got a lot of errors. But, hey, it's only a WIP, after all.

Hey, people, so here is my first Wiggly skecth:

The other one was too big to put in here... I like this one better anyway. Anything wrong before I start spriting this?

The only thing I see is that its lower body is kinda flat. Other than that, looks good.

Just a tip of mine through personal experience, but normally it seems that sprites turn out a bit better if the camera angle isn't from directly in front. This could be just me, but it's something I'd reccomend trying, since Head-On sprites seem a little too symetrical, IMO. Still, looks good so far.

EDIT: Whee. New GDN entry. Haven't updated this in a while.

I had a little trouble with this one, but I like the way it turned out. (I'm a maniac!)

C+C are welcome.

That is a pretty wicked Gallingler. My only nitpick is right above its eye... It looks like the fang went behind the eye and sort of popped up there. It rather irks me.

But, moving on from that, here is my latest entry in the Scizor Dex!

SDE: 11 - Scizollade!
5eag5j.png

The Scizor dex meets the Gallade dex in a massive fusion of epic proportions! Gallade stands coldly by, arms poised and ready for battle, while Scizor scrapes its massive metallic limbs together, creating a discordant cacophony of sounds. The battle of two titans ends in their fusion!

Lame jokes and battle intro's aside, looking at your Gallade Kingler fusion made me want to fuse Scizor and Gallade, seeing as I had fused Scizor and Kingler earlier. This is the resulting fusion. I think it turned out relatively well, with the only serious scratching being his head.

Any C+C on this is welcome as well.

Yeah, mine needs more Gallade. Would you believe me if I said that Gallade was the base?

I'd believe, but only because it's called the "Gallade Dex." xD

You actually fit the face in on yours (Different Scizor Sprite), so I think their was a marginal difference their as well.

Well, here are all my scratches so far:
charmeleon.png

I think I'm improving.

The lines are very clean so that's good. The left arm looks strange, the bend should be closer to the middle of the arm. The color shades don't compliment eachother, the base red is way too dark compared to the highlighting shade. Try using the colors from the official sprite. Shading looks very bumpy, try to make it more like the outline. Since it's a pixel-over anyway, try tracing over the shading of the original drawing too. Shade tracing was a big help when I first started, I could not shade at all, but tracing other artists shading helped me understand on a more intricate level how shading works.
