I've been thinking of creating a runescape sprite project. Runescape is a online MMORPG with a medival theme. The sprites in runescape just suck though (example below).

They try to pass this for this

The problem is there are over 6 thousand items and that means 6 thousand sprites in runescape and the sprites are only 30 x 30 pixels. Should I start a runescape sprite project and if I do will you guys help me?

I remember when I was into Runescape lol

Runescape has the most shitty sprites...my goodness. I'll help if you give me a spritesheet of all the items.

6000 spritesheet? I'll give you armour, runes, food and add more as I go along but it's 6000 sprites; thats hard to deal with.

E: Working on a armour spreadsheet, there are 306 pieces of metal armour and weapons.

@JTSwift: I haven't tested my Coffeecup Gif animator program about this, but it does the ability to convert short avi clips into gif. Just not sure about quality. Bet I could try it soon or maybe use Photoshop? I can't guarantee success, but I can give this a go if you link it to me :).

Hey guys! I just made my first ever banner and I'd like to get some feedback and maybe some tips for creating better ones. :) its kind of simple but i tried lol

@Shako: The background should blend better (maybe some black version of the orange vector part?) and sprites aren't the best for larger banners (I suggest Dream World artwork as it's cool and no cropping needed), and the text could be placed better as well.

Also, I've never seen an oversgade...what are they, and how do I do them?

You take all the pokemon's colors out, then recolor the whole thing using your own colors. Basically recoloring it but with the same colors.

Complaining about something being inactive won't help unless you contribute. >_> Logic, guys. Also, Victini recolor dex. My first recolor dex so I'm just doing Gen 5 Pokemon.

I've done up to Leparudasu since I'm a lazy ass.

Here are my fail sprites. I got inspired for a bit from Alchamator's "The Smog" Spriting lessons, but now I just couldn't be bothered to do them. Note: all these sprite are only the ones that I can post without being an embarassment.

Origanally supposed to be Wailord/Magikarp, but during the end I added Skarm/Bliss touchs.

Yeah, you do have a point with thw retypes, but I don't do many of them really, but I'll be sure to take that into consideration (I suck at scratching). I also must admit I do like the Fighting Hoothoot and McSpiritomb too :). Thanks for your opinion, I really oppresiate them!

I'm planning on getting a Pokemon Tattoo within the next year. Of which Pokemon I have yet to decide. I would like a Paras but I'm the type of Tattoo I want is a black tribal one, and I'm not sure if Paras could be designed properly in Tribal.

So I was wondering if anyone here could design a Paras in tribal so I can get an idea of what it looks like.

I'm not sure whether you wanted to keep the red border or not, so I just made two versions.

Um, I used pentool + magic wand to select all the white and then deleted it. 8D

just for future reference, if you want to remove a white background- it must be plain white. from a picture, it's easiest to create an alpha channel (do this by right clicking on the layer in the layers menu) then going -> colours -> colour to alpha -> select white as the colour to alpha -> click ok. the image should now have no white (or the other colour you selected in it) The image you want cut out can't have any of this colour in thougn.

Thanks for letting me know! I prefer to use pentool just because I'm more used to rendering images that way, but I'll be sure to try that in the future.
