@vonFiedler: Lol, is that a problem? I thought that would be the norm, I was really shocked at Faint's no at GTA3 and a yes on GTA4 of all things. I really didn't want to start commenting on other ppl's votes as that opens up a whole new can of worms.

GTA3 was revolutionary and had arguably the biggest impact on gaming in the last decade and a bit, and one of the most influential creative works made in any medium in the modern era. Playing GTA3 for the first time was mindblowing and it remains one of the best experiences in gaming I have ever had. San Andreas was a good, fun and well polished game.

It's a pretty common sense vote in my mind, if Pacman and Ms Pacman were up for nomination, would you overlook Pacman and vote for Ms Pacman?

edit: Also using this opportunity to plug Wave Race 64 for nomination. The graphics were eye poppingly good, the sensation of being on the water was so infectious, the control was perfect, and the experience was only possible because of how unbelievably polished it was. It was one of the most fun games I have played and I haven't played a water based game since that has made the feeling of being on the water feel so real (and fun!).

I didn't realize we were using your program, sorry about that. I changed it back.

Also No luck Involved if I vote abstain on something it doesn't mean I haven't played it, it just means I don't feel like I've played it enough to give it a yes or no. That's why I gave Halo 1-3 a yes but didn't give an answer on Reach despite owning it.

I gave GTA IV a yes and the others a no because I found it to be the best.
 
GTA3 was revolutionary. It is also surpisingly god awful. I know we were all kids once and overlooked a lot of things when we could run over people and kill hookers, but have you actually gone back and played it? My god the physics, gun controls, and camera wouldn't have been passable for early PS1. Early races in the game are an exercise in futility (unless of course you use a Firetruck, yeah, make sense out of that).

San Andreas wasn't "a little better". It was an absolute tour de force, with 3 different unique cities and a massive amount of countryside with beautiful environmental mood. Just as deep was the amount of customization. GTA4 really suffered by not building upon San Andreas at all.

Absolutely mind boggling that people are voting no on Guild Wars. Probably the best MMORPG ever - it caters to every kind of player. PVE Stand Alone Campaigns (3 of them and an expansion) and PVP play. Guild Wars was revolutionary in that there is no need to grind at all in order to compete in PVE or PVP - the max level is 20 (extremely easy to obtain) and both the max stats weapons and armor are even easier to obtain. Combine no grinding, PVP Only characters that already come ready to go, gorgeous graphics, and beautiful music, I would say Guild Wars is up there in terms of best games of all time... and there isn't even a monthly fee. Amazing. If it doesnt even get on the top 100 that would be a tragedy.

I found it to be pretty boring and not being able to jump made it extremely annoying to get around. Burning Crusade WoW easily beats out everything GW has to offer.

Jumping? JUMPING? lol... Guild Wars is also the easiest MMO to get around in as well with hundreds of outposts that you can go to instantly. Something tells me you were just looking for something to hate on to promote WoW. Unfortunately Guild Wars never got the playerbase other MMOs did. I'm not even the biggest lover of Guild Wars - its just sad that it gets passed over so easily. I mean really Guild Wars no but Guitar Hero yes? Come on now.

Look, I'm not really looking to get into a massive debate over which game is better. I really did not enjoy my Guild Wars experience because it felt like it had so much less to offer than WoW.

And yes, jumping is kinda something I expect in an open world environment. Not being able to hop over a fence or a small ridge is absolutely moronic.
