I see a bunch of no's @ prince of persia sands of time and I'm really confused.

Either everyone thinks it's based on the recent movie and therefore is giving it a no or nobody voting it has played it. I'm voting yes on the PS2 version of the game. You need to clarify what system games like this are for, because the 2003 version is much better than any remake there may have been. If people think it's a game based off a movie they are going to vote "No" regardless of if they've played it.

Prince of Persia needs to be up for redemption. It is possibly the influential game ever made, causing a schism in platforming that led to games like Shadow of the Colossus and Uncharted.

Deciding yes or no on Runescape = serious first world problem. Yes won out in the end because (bias) there were too many good memories + (non-bias) it was one of the most successful mmos of the last decade. I do miss those Runescape 1 days, the world was such a happy place back then!

I've stopped voting in this thread due to the sheer amount of disappointment that comes with each passing round. Seriously, how the fuck do games like Kid Icarus: Uprising, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time get removed? I don't feel that the sample size participating in this thread has actually played enough of the games listed, causing great titles to get dropped in favor of the same old standard "mainstream" choices you see on every single list ever. This is pretty evident by the sheer number of ballots with abstain on every title barring two or three.

I'm hoping that games which are given a strong argument supporting their presence on the list are more likely candidates for redemption, because honestly I don't see this project proving itself to be any more respectable than any other random list of games.
