[Standard] Fallout 3 Mafia - Game Over! UncleSam and Flamestrike Win!

Well we as a village are clearly not going to come to anything conclusive regarding billymills vs UncleSam before the end of the day. We can't risk a mislynch on either of them, even if individuals can come up with convincing arguments for lynching one of them. Not to mention that if our new target is a genuine mafia hooker, he's going to be a bigger threat right now than a mafia announcer or a mafia alliance checker.

This time, the reasoning behind the lynch is simple and easy to follow. Sure, we do have to assume that B_T is genuinely a village watcher, but if that is true then the reasoning makes perfect sense. It is obvious even to this noob. And who knows, maybe this lynch will unite billy and sam briefly, since if neither is mafia and Fangren is, then they should both be willing to go along with this lynch (since, unlike me, they do not subscribe to the "let the accused defend themselves" school of thought). Note that this doesn't mean that if they both vote for Fangren and Fangren is mafia then billy and sam are both village.

What happens after the day ends I will leave to the smarter players among us. For now, Objection will wait for Fangren's defence before casting a vote. If Fangren doesn't defend himself, the reasoning-based bandwagon will get him, and the reasoning-based bandwagon doesn't need the help of one noob's vote.
 
Lynch Fangren., since again, we aren't solving anything with Billy vs. US.

I've been trying to make sense of this Billymills and Unclesam situation, and here's the short version of what my thoughts of how I see it:

Billymills
  • Has an odd number of roles already claimed to him and working with him, although possible since he was leading.
  • Not as valuable as US claims to be, although both have proven they have some form of the roles they've claimed.
  • Knew BG, BG died. Possible others knew, possible randkill, who knows what happened there.
  • Refuses to name identities of people whose roles against Unclesam, but he'd be crazy to do so with all but possibly the posting restrictor
  • Believed a dead mafioso on a bad claim.
  • Trying to lynch a claimed alliance checker whose ability has proven to be at least what has been shown.

Unclesam
  • Targeted by a safeguard he does not know nor can explain, which could have been Von.
  • Has not read rules fully on certain areas, such as what happens when a night action fails.
  • Talks about convos with Billy, which Billy denies, disappears when asked for logs of proof
  • Uninspectable wanting to lead, although villages without him leading have not always ended well, and he has lead very well in the past, despite we have a nearly proven leader already.
  • Survived a night kill and had a safeguard on him without explanation. BPV/Von has been seen as the most possible explanation, but still hard to explain.


Again, this is speculation, but I see more reasons than not to believe Billy over US. They could be almost anything, and even two Wastelanders, but I'd let the mafia settle this one, since US is definitely a role they'd want to kill, if he's telling the truth.

However, for now, I think US need to explain his actions more, since it makes little sense for him to have survived a night kill, and then go back and attack
 
OK, it seems that everyone has a problem with me waiting for the accused to defend themselves and, being a noob, I'm not going to be able to convince you to wait. Fuck it, lynch Fangren
 
Damn, looks like I've missed my chance to defend myself, not like it would've done any good as folks appear to be taking B_T at his word (as I have not, to my knowledge, targeted ipl at all this game.) I'd advise those alive to be skeptical of B_T's easily-faked little line of results, regardless of whether or not you are allied with the village.

To my known allies, it has certainly been fun working with you, and I wish you all the best of luck.

Deadline.

As the day begins, UncleSam is once again the first to speak up, proposing a lynch on billymills that was quickly drowned out by shouts to lynch the Uncle himself. This bickering continued until Blue_Tornado provided some (gasp) plausible evidence. After this, the votes on Fangren quickly mounted, and another Wasteland execution was swiftly delivered.

You quickly realise it is close to nightfall and flee to your collective safe areas. You now realise those are not as safe as you once thought.

It is now Night 2. Deadline is 23:00 GMT Wednesday 22nd December.
