Team that got me to to #10 on the ladder...

This is the team I use on the OU ladder and it got me to #10 on the ladder... with my TU-TwoFaced name. Unfortunately I have amazingly bad luck and I tend to lose a lot. I wanted to make some changes not because I necessarily need it but because I am tired of using the same pokes so some changes are welcomed.


EDIT I GOT TO #8 with this team now.

This is the best lead in my opinion... I have also been using this set before Raikoulover so I dont want anyone accusing me of copying him. This guy owns so much its incredible. It usually nets me at least one kill or 2 which is awesome. Not much to say about this dude other that it rapes children who dont have Zapdos. Dont really wana change this guy.

AHAHa... Blaze who is the original owner of this team told me to try this guy out and OMG it owns. I didn't know that Sleep talk on Heracross would be so awesome but man it owns. This dude is my counter to Cresselia, Celebi, and just basically my super hard hitter. Not much to say other than it owns :D.

This dude is my surprise factor... NO ONE!! expects this guy unless they have faced me before which usually leeds to them losing a few guys. I love owning gengars and infernapes with this guy it feels awesome. This is also my main Gyarados counter... I outspeed some even after 2 DDs which is ownage. He can also scout some switches with U-turn. This guy is just all around rape. I recommend more people try him out... or no :D dont want a bunch of CS celebi owning people all the place :D.

Another surprise factor this guy has netted me a bunch of 6-0 sweeps and come from behind wins. I usually bring this guy in on Heatran, Tentacruels, Bronzong and such, set up a sub get a few CMs and just sweep. Pretty rape.

Not much to say about this guy other than its fucking uber blah blah blah. I try to save this guy for late game sweeps. Usually bring em in on lucarios as they SD and heatrans when my suicune is dead. It owns its uber... yea..

This is a pretty important guy in my team... he counters the annoying ass Deocys and gengars that would otherwise destroy me, and laids down the stealth rock which I love :D. I wont change this guy because he owns so hard. He has never let me down, always owns the gengars and deoxys and for that he earns a permanant spot on my team.


So yea thats my team... I heard from some people that it sucks lol but then again it cant suck so bad because it got me to top 10 on the ladder, and has netted me wins against some of the top guys. It could be that I just own so hard that no matter what team I use I would win neway... but I doubt it. So yea here it is... any changes that you think might help this team out are welcome. I will be sure to try out all changes that are resonable and that I think might have a positive effect on this team.
 
I'm not so good at edits, but i just noticed something small. With Gross, would it maybe be better to swap out meteor mash for some more coverage? I dunno, maybe eq or zen headbutt.

You know I thought about this a few times... I almost went with EQ a couple of times just because with it I can hit other metagross and a few other things which I have a little problem with. I will wait to see if anyone else comments on this and see what I can do. Thanx for the rate.
 
Mix Mence is trouble for your team out speeds metagross and nothing
else o =n this team wants to take a draco to its face Mix mence also outspeeds Hera
and can beat yanmega if it doesnt carry hp ice and Draco+EQ or BB can take out Suicune as your run timid.
I would suggest just to watch your switches as only if someone predicted well would be able to wreak some havoc
 
U-Turn is 4x resisted by Yanmega I believe, and if it has U-Turn it's not packing Grass Knot or HP Ice for Garchomp and Suicune. That pretty much means it's scarfed.

Plus, Celebi outspeeds it if it isn't.
 
Seeing as i battled this team before, i feel obligated to rate it. Just wanted to make this clear before anyone says zomg MixMence weak. Timid 216 Spe Suicune outruns all MixMence aside from the Naive one, and most people are going to use Rash. Celebi has the easy switch into half of MixApe's attacks, and honestly, who is going to expect a Celebi faster than Infernape?

But, starting with the team. Yanmega is a great lead. Ive used it before to shut down those suicide Azelf leads always expecting you to Protect, and they get Bug Buzzed.

Heracross is amazing, but if your looking for another hard hitting Choice Banderthat can replace it, you can try something with Priority, like Hitmontop, but if your worried about Cresselia walling you, then by all means keep Heracross (although since ive used that Cune set a lot, i really cant picture Cress walling you too much). CB Machamp is also viable, and it gets confusion with Dynamic Punch or you could run a Guts variant with Sleep Talk, who hits just as hard as Hera, and can hit Gliscor with Ice Punch.

I used Jolly on Yache Chomp the one time i used it, although im assuming your using Adamant to secure some key OHKOs?

I love that Suicune set, been using it for a while but with 101 Subs and Toxic Spikes, and using Hp Electric > Ice Beam. If your up for a change you could try out Raikou in its place just for some fun.

Not really much else to say, nice team.

But on Yanmega and on Heracross You use FTrowher,vs Celebi you use Uturn or FTrowher
 
Yeah, but if it's scarfed you can't switch attacks, and if it's not then Celebi outruns it for the kill.

And obviously, Suicune can come in and stop Flamethrower + U-Turn. If it has U-Turn I doubt it has Grass Knot.
 
Ok for some reason I have yet to even lose a guy to mixmence... most people bring it out on my yanmega and just get destroyed by Air slashes. As for infernape a little prediction and its out of the way... If I expect it to flamethrower I go to Cune and then back to Celebi to take the Grass knot. After they see celebi they stay in thinking that they outspeed and get Knocked out. I heard from my friend Itachi that HP electric is better or is a little more unexpected on cune that Ice beam so I might try it out for a few matches... I musta admit taking out other suicunes who think they can just CM on my cune would be awesome.

I dont really want to change heracross because not only is he my Sleep absorver but he also destroys any celebi who I other wise have trouble with, I guess I have given you guys much to go on since I haven't said what I am week to.

I am extremely weak to stall teams. If you have a blissey and a reflect cresselia with lets say a Gliscor I get destroyed. There is just no way that can beat that set up seeing as how if I bring in heracross on cresselia they cans witch to Gliscor and if I set up Garchomp on blissey he can just switch to cresselia who takes like 30%. Btw the Garchomp is Jolly I wrote adamant by mistake.
 
Yanmega:

Replace HP [Ground] with HP [Ice].

Heracross:

Nothing Wrong here.

Celebi:

Yet again, fine.

Suicune:

Cool - but i prefer ResTalkCune.

Garchomp:

Shame on you you uber user >:[ Nice going xD

Metagross:

Replace Meteor Mash with Earthquake - or, keep HP Ground on Yanmega and put Ice Punch on this dude.

As you know I've played this team many times. However I don't understand the point of Timid on Celebi. If Gyarados is the only reason, your probobly better off using something such as Gengar who has more type coverage and better offensive stats. Timid Celebi fails to outspeed max speed Deoxys, and most offensive Gyarados is all the rage, so after two Dragon Dances you fail to outspeed as well.

Also Hidden Power [Ice] > [Ground] on Celebi. You have Hidden Power [Ground] Yanmega, Suicune, and Garchomp. All of these can switch into Heatran without any problem. Great team, nonetheless.

Yes man nice idea there... I will definitely try HP ice over ground on Celebi since I can just bring him on chomps and just owned them :D. I might switch the nature depending on a few things later on. If anything I'll post the changes on here.
 
If stall teams give you trouble why don't you try out a Boah. With Celebi knocking out Swampert and Machamp you should have an easy time.

Solid team overall. Sorry for contributing to that hax lol even though you beat me every time.

P.S.: I'm using that Celebi ~_^
 
ok so far the only changes have been to put a lum berry and EQ on metagross. I like the boah Idea but I dont know who to take out for him. Please elaborate on that advice.
 
Lol Specs shayman cant come in on many things here only Celebi when im stuck on Leaf storm. Also I have yet to face one but with a little prediction I should be fine I think.
